In the third year of Cyrus king of Persia a thing was revealed unto Daniel, whose name was called Belteshazzar; and the thing was true, but the time appointed was long: and he understood the thing, and had understanding of the vision.
2	Long ol dispela de mi Danyel i krai sori tripela wik olgeta.	In those days I Daniel was mourning three full weeks.

I ate no pleasant bread, neither came flesh nor wine in my mouth, neither did I anoint myself at all, till three whole weeks were fulfilled.

Then I lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and behold a certain man clothed in linen, whose loins were girded with fine gold of Uphaz:
6	Bodi bilong em i olsem beril, na pes bilong em i olsem piksa bilong lait bilong klaut, na ol ai bilong em i olsem ol lam bilong paia, na ol han bilong em na ol fut bilong em i olsem kala bilong bras wanpela i bin polisim, na nek bilong ol tok bilong em i olsem nek bilong planti tru manmeri.	His body also was like the beryl, and his face as the appearance of lightning, and his eyes as lamps of fire, and his arms and his feet like in colour to polished brass, and the voice of his words like the voice of a multitude.

And I Daniel alone saw the vision: for the men that were with me saw not the vision; but a great quaking fell upon them, so that they fled to hide themselves.

Therefore I was left alone, and saw this great vision, and there remained no strength in me: for my comeliness was turned in me into corruption, and I retained no strength.
9	Yet mi harim nek bilong ol tok bilong em, na taim mi harim nek bilong ol tok bilong em, long dispela taim mi stap long wanpela strongpela slip i dai long pes bilong mi, na pes bilong mi i lukim graun.	Yet heard I the voice of his words: and when I heard the voice of his words, then was I in a deep sleep on my face, and my face toward the ground.
10	¶ Na harim, wanpela i putim han long mi, na em i putim mi antap long ol skru bilong lek bilong mi na antap long ol insait bilong ol han bilong mi.	And, behold, an hand touched me, which set me upon my knees and upon the palms of my hands.
11	Na em i tok long mi, O Danyel, yu wanpela man bikpela laikim tru i go long en, yu mas save gut long ol tok mi tok long yu, na sanap stret. Long wanem God i salim mi i kam nau long yu. Na taim em i tokim ol dispela tok long mi, mi sanap na guria i stap.	And he said unto me, O Daniel, a man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak unto thee, and stand upright: for unto thee am I now sent. And when he had spoken this word unto me, I stood trembling.

Long wanem long namba wan de yu bin strongim bel bilong yu long save gut, na long stretim yu yet long pes bilong God bilong yu, long dispela taim ol tok bilong yu i go long ia, na as bilong mi kam em i long ol tok bilong yu.	Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words.
13	Tasol dispela hetman bilong kingdom bilong Persia i pasim mi inap long 21 de. But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia.

Now I am come to make thee understand what shall befall thy people in the latter days: for yet the vision is for many days.
15	Na taim em i tokim ol dispela tok long mi, mi tanim pes bilong mi i go long graun, na mi kamap mauspas.	And when he had spoken such words unto me, I set my face toward the ground, and I became dumb.
16	Na harim, wanpela i luk olsem ol pikinini bilong ol man i putim han long arere bilong maus bilong mi. Long dispela taim mi opim maus bilong mi na mi tok, na mi tok long em husat i sanap long pes bilong mi, O bikman bilong mi, long dispela samting olsem driman ol bel hevi i strong tru i tanim i kam long mi na mi no gat strong.	And, behold, one like the similitude of the sons of men touched my lips: then I opened my mouth, and spake, and said unto him that stood before me, O my lord, by the vision my sorrows are turned upon me, and I have retained no strength.
17	Long wanem olsem wanem wokboi bilong dispela bikman bilong mi ken i toktok wantaim dispela bikman bilong mi? Long wanem long mi yet, wantu i no gat strong i stap insait long mi, na tu i no gat win i stap yet insait long mi.	For how can the servant of this my lord talk with this my lord? for as for me, straightway there remained no strength in me, neither is there breath left in me.
18	Long dispela taim wanpela i kam gen na putim han long mi na em i luk olsem wanpela man, na em i strongim mi.	Then there came again and touched me one like the appearance of a man, and he strengthened me,
19	Na em i tok, O man i kisim bikpela laikim tru, yu no ken pret. Bel isi i stap long yu, yu mas i stap strongpela, yes, stap strongpela. Na taim em i toktok long mi, mi kisim strong, na mi tok, Larim bikman bilong mi i tok, long wanem yu bin strongim mi.	And said, O man greatly beloved, fear not: peace be unto thee, be strong, yea, be strong. And when he had spoken unto me, I was strengthened, and said, Let my lord speak; for thou hast strengthened me.
20	Long dispela taim em i tok, Ating yu no save long wanem as mi kam long yu, a? Na nau bai mi go bek gen long pait wantaim dispela hetman bilong Persia. Na taim mi go olsem, harim, dispela hetman bilong Grisia bai i kam.	Then said he, Knowest thou wherefore I come unto thee? and now will I return to fight with the prince of Persia: and when I am gone forth, lo, the prince of Grecia shall come.
21	Tasol bai mi soim yu dispela samting i stap ples klia long ol rait bilong God i bilong tok tru. Na i no gat wanpela i stap strong wantaim mi long ol dispela samting, Maikel tasol, hetman bilong yupela.	But I will shew thee that which is noted in the scripture of truth: and there is none that holdeth with me in these things, but Michael your prince.
