¶ King Nebukatnesar i bin wokim wanpela piksa god i long gol, na skel bilong antap bilong em i 60 kubit, na skel bilong brait bilong em i 6 kubit. Em i sanapim dispela long ples i stret bilong Dura, insait long provins bilong Babilon. | Nebuchadnezzar the king made an image of gold, whose height was threescore cubits, and the breadth thereof six cubits: he set it up in the plain of Dura, in the province of Babylon.
Long dispela taim Nebukatnesar dispela king i salim tok long bungim ol hetman, na ol gavman, na ol kepten, na ol jas, na ol man bilong lukautim ol samting i dia tru, na ol kaunsil, na ol hetman bilong ol polis, na olgeta hetman bilong ol provins, long ol i mas kam long de bilong makim dispela piksa god Nebukatnesar dispela king i bin sanapim dispela. | Then Nebuchadnezzar the king sent to gather together the princes, the governors, and the captains, the judges, the treasurers, the counsellors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, to come to the dedication of the image which Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up.
Long dispela taim ol hetman, na ol gavman, na ol kepten, na ol jas, na ol man bilong lukautim ol samting i dia tru, na ol kaunsil, na ol hetman bilong plis, na olgeta hetman bilong ol provins, ol i bung long de bilong makim dispela piksa god husat Nebukatnesar dispela king i bin sanapim. Na ol i sanap long pes bilong dispela piksa god Nebukatnesar i bin sanapim. | Then the princes, the governors, and captains, the judges, the treasurers, the counsellors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, were gathered together unto the dedication of the image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up; and they stood before the image that Nebuchadnezzar had set up.
Long dispela taim wanpela mausman bilong kingdom i singaut strong, Wanpela strongpela tok i kam long yupela, O ol manmeri, na ol kantri, na ol kain tok ples. | Then an herald cried aloud, To you it is commanded, O people, nations, and languages,
Long taim yupela i harim nek bilong biugel, na mambu, na harp, na narakain biugel, na narapela kain harp, na narapela kain mambu, na olgeta kain musik, yupela mas pundaun na lotuim dispela piksa god i gol husat Nebukatnesar dispela king i bin sanapim. | That at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king hath set up:
Na wanem man i no pundaun na lotuim em, long dispela aua tasol bai ol i tromoi em i go insait long wanpela aven paia i kuk i stap long em. | And whoso falleth not down and worshippeth shall the same hour be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace.
Olsem na long dispela taim, taim olgeta manmeri i harim dispela nek bilong biugel, na mambu, na harp, na narakain biugel, na narapela kain harp, na olgeta kain musik, olgeta manmeri, na ol kantri, na ol kain tok ples i pundaun na lotuim dispela piksa god i gol husat Nebukantesar dispela king i bin sanapim. | Therefore at that time, when all the people heard the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and all kinds of musick, all the people, the nations, and the languages, fell down and worshipped the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up.
¶ Olsem na long dispela taim sampela lain Kaldia i kam klostu, na ol i sutim tok long ol Ju. | Wherefore at that time certain Chaldeans came near, and accused the Jews.
Ol i spik na tok long king Nebukatnesar, O king, yu mas i stap laip oltaim oltaim. | They spake and said to the king Nebuchadnezzar, O king, live for ever.
Yu, O king, bin wokim wanpela lo long olgeta wan wan man husat bai harim nek bilong biugel, na mambu, na harp, na narapela kain biugel, na narapela kain harp, na narapela kain mambu, na olgeta kain musik, ol bai pundaun na lotuim dispela piksa god i gol. | Thou, O king, hast made a decree, that every man that shall hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, shall fall down and worship the golden image:
Na bilong makim man i no pundaun na lotu, lo i tok ol bai tromoi em insait long wanpela aven paia i kuk i stap long em. | And whoso falleth not down and worshippeth, that he should be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace.
I gat sampela Ju yu bin putim ol i stap hetman long ol wok bilong provins bilong Babilon, em Satrak, na Misak, na Abetnigo. Ol dispela man, O king, ol i no bin tingim yu. Ol i no lotuim ol god bilong yu, o lotuim dispela piksa god i gol yu bin sanapim dispela. | There are certain Jews whom thou hast set over the affairs of the province of Babylon, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed–nego; these men, O king, have not regarded thee: they serve not thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.
Long dispela taim Nebukatnesar long traipela belhat na bikpela kros bilong em, em i mekim strongpela tok long bringim Satrak, na Misak, na Abetnigo. Olsem na ol i bringim ol dispela man i kam long pes bilong king. | Then Nebuchadnezzar in his rage and fury commanded to bring Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed–nego. Then they brought these men before the king.
Nebukatnesar i spik na tokim ol, Em i tru, O Satrak, na Misak, na Abetnigo, long yupela i no bin lotuim ol god bilong mi, o lotuim dispela piksa god i gol mi bin sanapim? | Nebuchadnezzar spake and said unto them, Is it true, O Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed–nego, do not ye serve my gods, nor worship the golden image which I have set up?
Nau sapos yupela i redi long wanem taim yupela i harim nek bilong biugel, na mambu, na harp, na narakain biugel, na narapela kain harp, na narapela kain mambu, na olgeta kain musik, na yupela i pundaun na lotuim dispela piksa god mi bin wokim em, gutpela. Tasol sapos yupela i no lotu, long dispela aua tasol bai ol i tromoi yupela insait long wanpela aven paia i kuk i stap. Na dispela God em i husat bai Em i ken kisim bek yupela long lusim ol han bilong mi, a? | Now if ye be ready that at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the image which I have made; well: but if ye worship not, ye shall be cast the same hour into the midst of a burning fiery furnace; and who is that God that shall deliver you out of my hands?
Sadrak, na Misak, na Abetnigo i bekim na tok long king, O Nebukatnesar, mipela i no wari tumas long bekim dispela samting long yu. | Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed–nego, answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter.
Sapos em i olsem, God bilong mipela husat mipela i save bihainim, Em i inap tru long kisim bek mipela long dispela aven paia i kuk i stap, na Em bai kisim bek mipela long han bilong yu, O king. | If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king.
Tasol sapos nogat, yu mas save long dispela samting, O king, bai mipela i no bihainim ol god bilong yu, na lotuim dispela piksa god i gol yu bin sanapim em. | But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.
¶ Long dispela taim Nebukatnesar i pulap tru long belhat pasin, na pes bilong em i senis i stap birua tru long Satrak, na Misak, na Abetnigo. Olsem na em i spik, na mekim strongpela tok long ol i mas apim mak bilong paia bilong dispela aven i go hat moa yet inap long 7-pela taim moa long mak i inap tru bilong em. | Then was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and the form of his visage was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed–nego: therefore he spake, and commanded that they should heat the furnace one seven times more than it was wont to be heated.
Na king i mekim strongpela tok long ol nambawan strongpela man insait long ami bilong em long ol i mas pasim Satrak, na Misak, na Abetnigo, na tromoi ol i go insait long dispela aven paia i kuk i stap long em. | And he commanded the most mighty men that were in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed–nego, and to cast them into the burning fiery furnace.
Orait, ol dispela man i bin stap insait long ol saket bilong ol, na ol trausis bilong ol, na ol hat bilong ol, na ol arapela klos bilong ol taim ol lain i pasim ol na i tromoi ol i go insait long avan paia i kuk i stap long em. | Then these men were bound in their coats, their hosen, and their hats, and their other garments, and were cast into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.
Olsem na lait bilong paia i kilim i dai ol dispela man i kisim Satrak, na Misak,na Abetnigo i go antap, long wanem strongpela tok bilong king em i long hariap tru na aven i hat tumas. | Therefore because the king’s commandment was urgent, and the furnace exceeding hot, the flame of the fire slew those men that took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed–nego.
Na dispela 3-pela man, Satrak, na Misak, na Abetnigo, ol i pundaun wantaim ol samting bilong pasim ol na i go insait long dispela aven paia i kuk i stap long em. | And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed–nego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.
Long dispela taim Nebukatnesar dispela king i kirap nogut, na em i sanap hariap tru, na i spik, na tok long ol kaunsil bilong em, Ating yumi bin pasim na tromoi tripela man i go namel long paia, a? Na ol i bekim na tok long king, Tru, O king. | Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonied, and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his counsellors, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king.
Na em i bekim na tok, Lukim, mi lukim fopela man i stap lus, na ol i wokabaut namel long dispela paia, na ol i no kisim bagarap. Na dispela namba foa man i luk olsem Pikinini Man bilong God. | He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.
Long dispela taim Nebukatnesar i kam klostu long maus bilong dispela aven paia i kuk i stap long em, na i spik, na tok, Satrak, na Misak, na Abetnigo, yupela ol wokboi bilong dispela God i antap tru, yupela kam ausait, na kam long hia. Orait, Satrak, na Misak, na Abetnigo i kamaut long namel bilong paia. | Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace, and spake, and said, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed–nego, ye servants of the most high God, come forth, and come hither. Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed–nego, came forth of the midst of the fire.
Na ol hetman, na ol man bilong gavman, na ol kepten, na ol kaunsil bilong king, ol i bung wantaim, na ol i lukim ol dispela man, ol man paia i no bin holim pawa long bodi bilong ol, na tu i no gat wanpela gras bilong het bilong ol i bin kuk liklik, na tu ol saket bilong ol i no bin senis, na tu smel bilong paia i no bin kamap long ol. | And the princes, governors, and captains, and the king’s counsellors, being gathered together, saw these men, upon whose bodies the fire had no power, nor was an hair of their head singed, neither were their coats changed, nor the smell of fire had passed on them.
¶ Long dispela taim Nebukatnesar i spik, na tok, Blesing i stap long God bilong Satrak,na Misak, na Abetnigo, Em i bin salim ensel bilong Em, na kisim bek ol wokboi i putim bilip bilong ol long Em, na ol i bin senisim tok bilong king, na givim bodi bilong ol, long ol i no ken bihainim o lotuim ol arapela god, nogat, God bilong ol yet tasol ol i lotuim. | Then Nebuchadnezzar spake, and said, Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed–nego, who hath sent his angel, and delivered his servants that trusted in him, and have changed the king’s word, and yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god, except their own God.
Olsem na mi wokim wanpela lo, Long olgeta wan wan manmeri, na kantri, na tok ples, sapos em i tok wanpela kain samting i no stret na i birua long God bilong Satrak, na Misak, na Abetnigo, bai ol i katim ol i go long planti hap, na ol haus bilong ol bai kamap wanpela liklik maunten bilong hipim pekpek. Long wanem i no gat wanpela narapela God i ken kisim bek long bihainim dispela kain pasin. | Therefore I make a decree, That every people, nation, and language, which speak any thing amiss against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed–nego, shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made a dunghill: because there is no other God that can deliver after this sort.
Long dispela taim king i givim namba long Satrak, na Misak, na Abetnigo, insait long provins bilong Babilon. | Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed–nego, in the province of Babylon.
