| 2 | Na nau bai mi soim yu tok i tru. Harim, bai i gat tripela king yet i sanap insait long Persia, na bai namba foa i gat planti mani moa long olgeta arapela. Na long strong bilong em long ol mani samting bilong em, em bai kirapim olgeta i go birua long ol hap bilong Grisia. | And now will I shew thee the truth. Behold, there shall stand up yet three kings in Persia; and the fourth shall be far richer than they all: and by his strength through his riches he shall stir up all against the realm of Grecia. |
| 3 | Na wanpela strongpela king bai sanap, em bai bosim wantaim bikpela strong, na mekim ol samting bilong bihainim laik bilong em. | And a mighty king shall stand up, that shall rule with great dominion, and do according to his will. |

Long wanem ol bai rausim kingdom bilong em bai ol arapela i narapela long ol lain bilong em i ken kisim dispela. | And when he shall stand up, his kingdom shall be broken, and shall be divided toward the four winds of heaven; and not to his posterity, nor according to his dominion which he ruled: for his kingdom shall be plucked up, even for others beside those. |

Hap em i bosim bai i stap wanpela bikpela hap. | And the king of the south shall be strong, and one of his princes; and he shall be strong above him, and have dominion; his dominion shall be a great dominion. |

Tasol wanpela bai givim dispela meri i go, na ol lain husat i bin bringim em, na man husat i bin kamap papa bilong meri, na man husat i bin strongim meri insait long ol dispela taim. | And in the end of years they shall join themselves together; for the king’s daughter of the south shall come to the king of the north to make an agreement: but she shall not retain the power of the arm; neither shall he stand, nor his arm: but she shall be given up, and they that brought her, and he that begat her, and he that strengthened her in these times. |

Na em bai stap olsem sampela moa yia yet long dispela king bilong not. | And shall also carry captives into Egypt their gods, with their princes, and with their precious vessels of silver and of gold; and he shall continue more years than the king of the north. |
| 9 | Olsem na king bilong saut bai kam insait long kingdom bilong em, na em bai go bek long graun bilong em yet. | So the king of the south shall come into his kingdom, and shall return into his own land. |

Long dispela taim em bai kam bek gen, na kirap, yet long bikhaus ami bilong em. | But his sons shall be stirred up, and shall assemble a multitude of great forces: and one shall certainly come, and overflow, and pass through: then shall he return, and be stirred up, even to his fortress. |

Na em bai sanapim wanpela traipela lain, tasol dispela traipela lain bai stap olsem presen i go insait long han bilong em. | And the king of the south shall be moved with choler, and shall come forth and fight with him, even with the king of the north: and he shall set forth a great multitude; but the multitude shall be given into his hand. |
| 12 | Na taim em i tekewe pinis ol dispela lain, em bai litimapim bel bilong em yet, na em bai tromoi i go daun planti 10 tausen man. Tasol em i no inap kisim strong long dispela. | And when he hath taken away the multitude, his heart shall be lifted up; and he shall cast down many ten thousands: but he shall not be strengthened by it. |
| 13 | Long wanem king bilong not bai i kam bek, na bai i sanapim ples klia wanpela lain i bikpela moa long dispela i bin i stap pastaim, na tru tumas em bai i kam bihain long sampela yia wantaim wanpela bikpela ami na wantaim planti mani samting. | For the king of the north shall return, and shall set forth a multitude greater than the former, and shall certainly come after certain years with a great army and with much riches. |
| 14 | Na long ol dispela taim bai planti i sanap birua long king bilong saut. Na tu ol stilman i stilim ol samting bilong ol manmeri bilong yu bai apim ol yet long strongim dispela samting olsem driman, tasol ol bai pundaun. | And in those times there shall many stand up against the king of the south: also the robbers of thy people shall exalt themselves to establish the vision; but they shall fall. |
| 15 | Olsem na king bilong not bai kam, na wokim i go antap wanpela maunten bilong winim banis, na kisim ol biktaun i gat ol nambawan banis. Na ol ami bilong saut bai i no inap sanap long pait, na tu ol manmeri em i bin makim bai i no inap, na tu bai i no gat strong long sanap long pait. | So the king of the north shall come, and cast up a mount, and take the most fenced cities: and the arms of the south shall not withstand, neither his chosen people, neither shall there be any strength to withstand. |
| 16 | Tasol man i kam birua long em bai i mekim ol samting bilong bihainim laik bilong em yet, na i no gat wanpela bai sanap long pes bilong em. Na em bai sanap insait long dispela graun i gat glori, em dispela graun em bai pinisim olgeta long han bilong em. | But he that cometh against him shall do according to his own will, and none shall stand before him: and he shall stand in the glorious land, which by his hand shall be consumed. |
| 17 | Na tu em bai strongim pes bilong em long i go insait wantaim strong bilong olgeta hap bilong kingdom bilong em, na ol stretpela man wantaim em, na em bai mekim dispela. Na em bai givim em pikinini meri bilong ol meri, na dispela bai bagarapim dispela meri. Tasol bai meri no sanap long sait bilong em, na tu em i no wanbel wantaim em. | He shall also set his face to enter with the strength of his whole kingdom, and upright ones with him; thus shall he do: and he shall give him the daughter of women, corrupting her: but she shall not stand on his side, neither be for him. |
| 18 | Bihain long dispela bai em i tanim pes bilong em i go long ol ailan, na em bai kisim planti. Tasol wanpela hetman, bilong helpim em yet, bai mekim dispela samting i givim sem narapela i bin ofaim i pinis. Em yet i no gat wanpela samting i givim sem na em bai mekim dispela i tanim i go bek long em. | After this shall he turn his face unto the isles, and shall take many: but a prince for his own behalf shall cause the reproach offered by him to cease; without his own reproach he shall cause it to turn upon him. |
| 19 | Long dispela taim em bai tanim pes bilong em i go long dispela haus ami bilong graun bilong em yet. Tasol em bai sutim lek na pundaun, na ol i no inap painim em. | Then he shall turn his face toward the fort of his own land: but he shall stumble and fall, and not be found. |
| 20 | Long dispela taim long glori bilong kingdom wanpela man bilong apim ol takis insait bai i sanap insait long graun bilong em. Tasol insait long liklik namba bilong ol de tasol em bai i bagarap, na i no long belhat, na i no long pait. | Then shall stand up in his estate a raiser of taxes in the glory of the kingdom: but within few days he shall be destroyed, neither in anger, nor in battle. |
| 21 | ¶ Na wanpela i sting long ai bai sanap long graun bilong dispela man i bin kisim bagarap, na ol bai i no givim ona bilong kingdom long em. Tasol em bai kam insait long pasin bilong bel isi na kisim dispela kingdom long ol tok gris. | And in his estate shall stand up a vile person, to whom they shall not give the honour of the kingdom: but he shall come in peaceably, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries. |
| 22 | Na long ol han bilong wanpela bikpela tait bai karamapim ol olgeta taim ol i stap long pes bilong em, na ol bai bruk. Yes, dispela hetman bilong kontrak bai bruk tu. | And with the arms of a flood shall they be overflown from before him, and shall be broken; yea, also the prince of the covenant. |
| 23 | Na bihain long ol i wokim dispela kontrak bilong i stap poroman wantaim em, em bai mekim ol pasin giaman. Long wanem em bai kam antap, na em bai kamap strong wantaim wanpela liklik lain manmeri. | And after the league made with him he shall work deceitfully: for he shall come up, and shall become strong with a small people. |
| 24 | Em bai go insait long ol ples i gat gris i pulap bilong dispela provins long pasin bilong bel isi, na em bai mekim dispela samting ol papa bilong em i no bin mekim, na tu ol papa bilong ol papa bilong em i no bin mekim. Em bai tromoi i go nabaut nabaut namel long ol, ol samting ol i bin kisim long lain birua, na ol samting ol i kisim long ol birua soldia, na ol mani samting bilong ol birua. Yes, na em bai mekim tok hait bilong birua long ol ples bilong ol i strongpela tru, yes long wanpela taim. | He shall enter peaceably even upon the fattest places of the province; and he shall do that which his fathers have not done, nor his fathers’ fathers; he shall scatter among them the prey, and spoil, and riches: yea, and he shall forecast his devices against the strong holds, even for a time. |

Long wanem ol bai mekim tok hait i birua long em. | And he shall stir up his power and his courage against the king of the south with a great army; and the king of the south shall be stirred up to battle with a very great and mighty army; but he shall not stand: for they shall forecast devices against him. |
| 26 | Yes, ol husat i kaikai long hap skel bilong mit bilong em bai bagarapim em olgeta, na ami bilong em bai karamapim olgeta. Na planti bai pundaun daiman. | Yea, they that feed of the portion of his meat shall destroy him, and his army shall overflow: and many shall fall down slain. |
| 27 | Na ol bel bilong dispela tupela king bai pas long mekim trabel, na ol i mekim ol tok giaman long wanpela tebol, tasol dispela i no stap gutpela. Long wanem pinis yet bai stap long taim i gat mak long en. | And both these kings’ hearts shall be to do mischief, and they shall speak lies at one table; but it shall not prosper: for yet the end shall be at the time appointed. |
| 28 | Long dispela taim em bai kambek long graun bilong em wantaim planti mani samting, na bel bilong em bai birua long dispela kontrak i holi, na em bai mekim ol kain kain samting bilong em, na em bai kambek long graun bilong em yet. | Then shall he return into his land with great riches; and his heart shall be against the holy covenant; and he shall do exploits, and return to his own land. |
| 29 | Long taim i gat mak long en, em bai kambek, na kam long saut, tasol dispela bai i no wankain olsem dispela taim pastaim, o olsem dispela taim bihain. | At the time appointed he shall return, and come toward the south; but it shall not be as the former, or as the latter. |
| 30 | Long wanem bai ol sip bilong Kitim i kam birua long em. Olsem na em bai bel hevi, na kambek, na em bai gat bel nogut i birua long dispela kontrak i holi. Na em bai mekim olsem, yes em bai kambek na gat save wantaim ol husat i givim baksait long dispela kontrak i holi. | For the ships of Chittim shall come against him: therefore he shall be grieved, and return, and have indignation against the holy covenant: so shall he do; he shall even return, and have intelligence with them that forsake the holy covenant. |
| 31 | Na ol ami bai sanap long hap bilong em, na bai ol i givim doti long ples holi bilong strong, na bai tekewe dispela sakrifias bilong olgeta de, na bai ol i putim dispela samting i sting tru long ai bilong God na i mekim olgeta samting i bagarap. | And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate. |
| 32 | Na ol husat i mekim pasin i nogut tru long birua long dispela kontrak bai em i bagarapim ol long ol tok gris. Tasol ol manmeri husat i save long God bilong ol bai i stap strong, na mekim ol bikpela samting. | And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits. |
| 33 | Na ol husat i save gut namel long ol manmeri bai i skulim planti. Tasol bai ol i pundaun long bainat, na long lait bilong paia, na long kalabus, na long ol samting ol i save kisim long pinis bilong pait, planti de. | And they that understand among the people shall instruct many: yet they shall fall by the sword, and by flame, by captivity, and by spoil, many days. |
| 34 | Nau long taim ol bai pundaun, ol bai kisim helpim long liklik helpim. Tasol planti bai holimpas long ol wantaim ol tok gris. | Now when they shall fall, they shall be holpen with a little help: but many shall cleave to them with flatteries. |
| 35 | Na sampela bilong ol husat i gat gutpela save bai pundaun, long traim ol, na long klinim ol, na long mekim ol i waitpela, yes inap long taim bilong pinis. Long wanem em i bilong wanpela taim i gat mak long em pinis. | And some of them of understanding shall fall, to try them, and to purge, and to make them white, even to the time of the end: because it is yet for a time appointed. |
| 36 | Na king bai mekim ol samting bilong bihainim laik bilong em yet, na em bai litimapim em yet, na mekim em yet i stap bikpela moa antap long olgeta wan wan god, na bai em i tok long ol samting i mekim ol i tingting planti na i birua long God bilong ol god, na em bai stap gutpela i go inap long taim dispela bel nogut bai pinis. Long wanem samting i gat mak pinis long em bai kamap. | And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done. |

Long wanem em bai litimapim nem bilong em yet i bikpela moa antap long olgeta samting. | Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all. |
| 38 | Tasol long ples bilong em bai em i givim ona long dispela God bilong ol strong. Na wanpela god ol papa bilong em i no bin save long em bai em i givim ona long em wantaim gol, na silva, na wantaim ol ston i dia tumas, na ol naispela samting bilong givim amamas. | But in his estate shall he honour the God of forces: and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honour with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things. |

Na em bai mekim ol i stap bos bilong planti, na em bai tilim dispela graun long kisim mani | Thus shall he do in the most strong holds with a strange god, whom he shall acknowledge and increase with glory: and he shall cause them to rule over many, and shall divide the land for gain. |

Na dispela king bilong not bai i kam birua long em olsem wanpela raunwin, wantaim ol karis, na wantaim ol man i sindaun long hos, na wantaim planti sip. Na em bai go insait long ol dispela kantri, na bai karamapim olgeta na go moa yet. | And at the time of the end shall the king of the south push at him: and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over. |

Tasol ol dispela bai ranawe long han bilong em, yes em Idom na Moap, na nambawan hetman bilong ol pikinini bilong Amon. | He shall enter also into the glorious land, and many countries shall be overthrown: but these shall escape out of his hand, even Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon. |
