Save i kamapim bikhet, tasol pasin bilong laikim tru i strongim bilip. | Now as touching things offered unto idols, we know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffeth up, but charity edifieth. |

| 4 | ¶ Olsem na long sait bilong man i kaikai ol dispela samting ol i ofaim long sakrifais i go long ol piksa bilong god giaman, mipela i save long piksa bilong god giaman em i samting nating long dispela graun, na long i no gat arapela God, wanpela tasol. | As concerning therefore the eating of those things that are offered in sacrifice unto idols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is none other God but one. |

Na mausbel bilong ol, taim i no gat strong, i kamap doti. | Howbeit there is not in every man that knowledge: for some with conscience of the idol unto this hour eat it as a thing offered unto an idol; and their conscience being weak is defiled. |

| 13 | Olsem na, sapos abus bai mekim brata bilong mi long bagarapim bel, mi bai i no inap kaikai abus taim dispela graun i sanap, nogut mi mekim brata bilong mi long bagarapim bel. | Wherefore, if meat make my brother to offend, I will eat no flesh while the world standeth, lest I make my brother to offend. |
