절King Jems Pisin BaibelKing James Version
¶ Sapos mi toktok wantaim ol tok ples bilong ol man na bilong ol ensel, na mi no gat pasin bilong laikim tru, mi kamap olsem bras i pairap, o simbol i krai isi isi. Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
Na sapos mi gat presen bilong autim tok profet, na mi gat gutpela save long olgeta samting hait, na olgeta save, na sapos mi gat olgeta bilip tru, inap long mi ken rausim ol maunten i go, na mi no gat pasin bilong laikim tru, mi stap samting nating. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.
Na sapos mi givim olgeta kago bilong mi long givim kaikai long ol rabisman, na sapos mi givim bodi bilong mi long ol i ken kukim, na mi no gat pasin bilong laikim tru, em i no helpim mi liklik. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.
¶ Pasin bilong laikim tru i karim hevi longpela taim, na em i gutpela. Pasin bilong laikim tru i no gat mangal tingting. Pasin bilong laikim tru i no litimapim em yet, em i no bikhet, Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
Em i no wokabaut em yet long pasin i no stretpela, em i no painim samting bilong em yet, i no isi long skrapim bel bilong em, em i no tingting nogut. Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
Em i no wokim amamas tru long sin nogut, tasol em i wokim amamas tru long pasin i tru. Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
Em i karim olgeta samting, bilipim olgeta samting, hop long olgeta samting, stap yet long olgeta samting. Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
¶ Pasin bilong laikim tru i no inap fel. Tasol sapos i gat ol tok profet, ol bai fel. Sapos i gat ol tok ples, ol bai pinis. Sapos i gat save, em bai go pinis olgeta. Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.
Long wanem, yumi save long hap, na yumi autim tok profet long hap. For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.
Tasol taim dispela samting i inap tru i kam pinis, nau dispela samting i stap long hap hap bai pinis olgeta. But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.
Taim mi stap pikinini, mi toktok olsem pikinini, mi save olsem pikinini, mi tingting olsem pikinini. Tasol taim mi kamap man, mi rausim i go ol samting bilong pikinini. When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
Long wanem, nau yumi lukluk namel long wanpela glas, i tudak liklik, tasol long dispela taim, pes i go long pes. Nau mi save long hap, tasol long dispela taim bai mi save, yes, olsem tu ol i save long mi. For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
Na nau dispela tripela i stap yet, bilip tru, hop, na pasin bilong laikim tru. Tasol nambawan bilong ol dispela em pasin bilong laikim tru. And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.
