1 Och HERren talade med Mose, och sade: And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
2 Tala med hela menighetene af Israels barn, och säg til dem: I skolen wara helige; ty jag är helig, HERren edar Gud. Speak unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, and say unto them, Ye shall be holy: for I the Lord your God am holy.
3 Hwar och en frukte sina moder, och sin fader: Håller mina helgedagar; ty jag är HERren edar Gud. Ye shall fear every man his mother, and his father, and keep my sabbaths: I am the Lord your God.
4 I skolen icke wända eder til afgudar, och skolen icke göra eder gutna gudar; ty jag är HERren edar Gud. Turn ye not unto idols, nor make to yourselves molten gods: I am the Lord your God.
5 Och när I wiljen göra HERranom tackoffer, så skolen I offra det, at det må wara honom täckt: And if ye offer a sacrifice of peace offerings unto the Lord, ye shall offer it at your own will.
6 Och skolen det äta på samma dagen, då I offren det, och på den andra dagen. Hwad qwart blifwer til tredje dagen, det skall man bränna up i eld. It shall be eaten the same day ye offer it, and on the morrow: and if ought remain until the third day, it shall be burnt in the fire.
7 Äter der någor af på tredje dagen, så är han en styggelse, och warder icke tacknämlig: And if it be eaten at all on the third day, it is abominable; it shall not be accepted.
8 Och den samme ätaren skall bära sin missgerning, at han HERrans helgedom hafwer ohelgat; och den själen skall utrotad warda utu sitt folk. Therefore every one that eateth it shall bear his iniquity, because he hath profaned the hallowed thing of the Lord: and that soul shall be cut off from among his people.
9 När du upskär af ditt land, skalt du icke skära intil ändan allt omkring, och icke noga allt afhemta. And when ye reap the harvest of your land, thou shalt not wholly reap the corners of thy field, neither shalt thou gather the gleanings of thy harvest.
10 Sammalunda skalt du ej heller noga berga din wingård, eller uphemta de affall na bären: Utan skall det blifwa låta för de fattiga och främlingar; ty jag är HERren edar Gud. And thou shalt not glean thy vineyard, neither shalt thou gather every grape of thy vineyard; thou shalt leave them for the poor and stranger: I am the Lord your God.
11 I skolen icke stjäla eller ljuga, eller handla falskeliga den ene med den andra. Ye shall not steal, neither deal falsely, neither lie one to another.
12 I skolen icke swärja falskt wid mitt namn, och ohelga dins Guds namn; ty jag är HERren. And ye shall not swear by my name falsely, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I am the Lord.
13 Du skalt icke göra dinom nästa orätt, eller röfwa honom. Din dagakarls lön skall icke blifwa när dig intill morgonen. Thou shalt not defraud thy neighbour, neither rob him: the wages of him that is hired shall not abide with thee all night until the morning.
14 Du skalt icke banna dem döfwa. Du skalt icke sätta för den blinda något, der han kan stöta sig uppå; utan du skalt frukta din Gud; ty jag är HERren. Thou shalt not curse the deaf, nor put a stumblingblock before the blind, but shalt fear thy God: I am the Lord.
15 I skolen icke handla orätt i dome, och skalt icke skona dem ringa, och icke ära den mägtiga, utan skalt döma dinom nästa rätt. Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment: thou shalt not respect the person of the poor, nor honour the person of the mighty: but in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbour.
16 Du skalt icke wara en bakdantare ibland ditt folk. Du skalt ock icke stå emot dins nästas blod; ty jag är HERren. Thou shalt not go up and down as a talebearer among thy people: neither shalt thou stand against the blood of thy neighbour: I am the Lord.
17 Du skalt icke hata din broder i dino hjerta; utan du skalt straffa din nästa, på det du icke skalt lida skuld för hans skull. Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him.
18 Du skalt icke hämnas, och icke behålla någon owilja emot dins folks barn. Du skalt älska din nästa såsom dig sjelfwan; ty jag är HERren. Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the Lord.
19 Mina stadgar skolen I hålla, at du icke låter din boskap hafwa beblandning med annor djur; och icke sår din åker med blandad säd: Och at ingen klädnad kommer på dig, som af ull och lin tilhopa kommen är. Ye shall keep my statutes. Thou shalt not let thy cattle gender with a diverse kind: thou shalt not sow thy field with mingled seed: neither shall a garment mingled of linen and woollen come upon thee.
20 Om en man ligger när ena qwinno, och beblandar sig med henne, och hon är en trälinna, och är af enom androm kränkt, dock är icke löst, eller frihet fått hafwer, det skall straffadt warda; men icke skola de dö: Ty hon hafwer icke warit fri. And whosoever lieth carnally with a woman, that is a bondmaid, betrothed to an husband, and not at all redeemed, nor freedom given her; she shall be scourged; they shall not be put to death, because she was not free.
21 Men han skall frambära HERranom för sina skuld en wädur til skuldoffer, inför dörena af wittnesbördsens tabernakel. And he shall bring his trespass offering unto the Lord, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, even a ram for a trespass offering.
22 Och Presten skall försona honom med skuldoffret för HERranom, för den synd, som han gjort hafwer: Så warder honom Gud nådelig öfwer hans synd, som han gjort hafwer. And the priest shall make an atonement for him with the ram of the trespass offering before the Lord for his sin which he hath done: and the sin which he hath done shall be forgiven him.
23 När I kommen i landet, och planteren allahanda trä, der man af äter, skolen I afskära deras förhud med deras frukt: I tre år skolen I hålla dem för oomskorna, så at I icke äten dem. And when ye shall come into the land, and shall have planted all manner of trees for food, then ye shall count the fruit thereof as uncircumcised: three years shall it be as uncircumcised unto you: it shall not be eaten of.
24 Men i fjerde årena skall all deras frukt wara helgad och prisad HERranom: But in the fourth year all the fruit thereof shall be holy to praise the Lord withal.
25 I femte årena skolen I äta fruktena, och samla henne in; ty jag är HERren edar Gud. And in the fifth year shall ye eat of the fruit thereof, that it may yield unto you the increase thereof: I am the Lord your God.
26 I skolen intet äta med blod: I skolen icke akta på foglarop; eller wälja några dagar. Ye shall not eat any thing with the blood: neither shall ye use enchantment, nor observe times.
27 I skolen icke skära någon plätt på edart hufwud, och icke allstinges raka edart skägg af. Ye shall not round the corners of your heads, neither shalt thou mar the corners of thy beard.
28 I skolen icke skära något märke på edar kropp öfwer en dödan; eller skrifwa bokstäfwer på eder; ty jag är HERren. Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the Lord.
29 Du skalt icke hålla dina dotter til boleri, på det at landet icke skall bedrifwa boleri, och warda fullt med laster. Do not prostitute thy daughter, to cause her to be a whore; lest the land fall to whoredom, and the land become full of wickedness.
30 Håller mina helgedagar, och frukter för min helgedom; ty jag är HERren. Ye shall keep my sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuary: I am the Lord.
31 I skolen icke wända eder til spåmän, och fråger intet af de teknatydare, at I icke warden orenade på dem; ty jag är HERren edar Gud. Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I am the Lord your God.
32 För et grått hufwud skalt du upstå, och ära de gamla; ty du skalt frukta din Gud; ty jag är HERren. Thou shalt rise up before the hoary head, and honour the face of the old man, and fear thy God: I am the Lord.
33 Om en främling warder boendes när eder i edro lande, den skolen I icke öfwerfalla. And if a stranger sojourn with thee in your land, ye shall not vex him.
34 Han skall bo när eder såsom en inländsk ibland eder; och du skalt älskan såsom dig sjelfwan: Förty I woren ock främlingar i Egypti lande. Jag är HERren edar Gud. But the stranger that dwelleth with you shall be unto you as one born among you, and thou shalt love him as thyself; for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God.
35 I skolen intet olika handla, i dom, med aln, med wigt, med mått. Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment, in meteyard, in weight, or in measure.
36 Rätt wåg, rätt pund, rätt skeppa, rätt kanna skall wara när eder; ty jag är HERren edar Gud, som hafwer fört eder utur Egypti land: Just balances, just weights, a just ephah, and a just hin, shall ye have: I am the Lord your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt.
37 At I skolen hålla och göra alla mina stadgar, och alla mina rätter; ty jag är HERren. Therefore shall ye observe all my statutes, and all my judgments, and do them: I am the Lord.
