1 Och HERren talade med Mose, och sade: And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
2 Tala med Israels barn, och säg til dem: Jag är HERren edar Gud. Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, I am the Lord your God.
3 I skolen icke göra efter som görs i Egypti land, der I bott hafwen; och icke eft er som görs i Canaans land, der jag dig införa skall; I skolen icke heller hålla eder wid deras sätt; After the doings of the land of Egypt, wherein ye dwelt, shall ye not do: and after the doings of the land of Canaan, whither I bring you, shall ye not do: neither shall ye walk in their ordinances.
4 Utan efter mina rätter skolen I göra, och mina stadgar skolen I hålla, at I wandren derutinnan: Ty jag är HERren edar Gud. Ye shall do my judgments, and keep mine ordinances, to walk therein: I am the Lord your God.
5 Derföre skolen I hålla mina stadgar, och mina rätter; ty hwilken menniska dem göra, han skall derigenom lefwa: Ty jag är HERren. Ye shall therefore keep my statutes, and my judgments: which if a man do, he shall live in them: I am the Lord.
6 Ingen skall gå in til sina nästa blods fränko, til att blotta hennes blygd: Ty jag är HERren. None of you shall approach to any that is near of kin to him, to uncover their nakedness: I am the Lord.
7 Du skalt dins faders och dine moders blygd icke blotta: Hon är din moder, derföre skalt du icke blotta hennes blygd. The nakedness of thy father, or the nakedness of thy mother, shalt thou not uncover: she is thy mother; thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.
8 Du skalt icke blotta dins faders hustrus blygd; ty det är dins faders blygd. The nakedness of thy father’s wife shalt thou not uncover: it is thy father’s nakedness.
9 Du skalt icke blotta dine systers blygd, den dins faders, eller dine moders dotter är, hema eller ute född. The nakedness of thy sister, the daughter of thy father, or daughter of thy mother, whether she be born at home, or born abroad, even their nakedness thou shalt not uncover.
10 Du skalt icke blotta dine sonadotters, eller dine dotterdotters blygd; ty det är din blygd. The nakedness of thy son’s daughter, or of thy daughter’s daughter, even their nakedness thou shalt not uncover: for theirs is thine own nakedness.
11 Du skalt icke blotta dins faders hustrus dotters blygd, den dinom fader född är, och din syster är. The nakedness of thy father’s wife’s daughter, begotten of thy father, she is thy sister, thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.
12 Du skalt icke blotta dins fadersysters blygd; ty hon är dins faders nästa blodsfränka. Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy father’s sister: she is thy father’s near kinswoman.
13 Du skalt icke blotta dine modersysters blygd; ty hon är dine moders nästa blodsfränka. Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy mother’s sister: for she is thy mother’s near kinswoman.
14 Du skalt icke blotta dins faderbroders blygd, så at du tager hans hustru; ty hon är din swägerska. Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy father’s brother, thou shalt not approach to his wife: she is thine aunt.
15 Du skalt icke blotta dine sonahustrus blygd; ty hon är dins sons hustru, derföre skalt du icke blotta hennes blygd. Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy daughter in law: she is thy son’s wife; thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.
16 Du skalt icke blotta dins broders hustrus blygd; ty hon är dins broders blygd. Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy brother’s wife: it is thy brother’s nakedness.
17 Du skalt icke blotta dine hustrus, samt med hennes dotters blygd: ej heller taga hennes sons dotter, eller dotterdotter, til at blotta hennes blygd; ty hon är hennes nästa blodsfränka: och det är en last. Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of a woman and her daughter, neither shalt thou take her son’s daughter, or her daughter’s daughter, to uncover her nakedness; for they are her near kinswomen: it is wickedness.
18 Du skalt ock icke taga dins hustrus syster, til at blotta hennes blygd, henne emot, medan hon ännu lefwer. Neither shalt thou take a wife to her sister, to vex her, to uncover her nakedness, beside the other in her life time.
19 Du skalt icke gå in til qwinnona, så länge hon hafwer sina sjuko i sine orenhet, til at blotta hennes blygd. Also thou shalt not approach unto a woman to uncover her nakedness, as long as she is put apart for her uncleanness.
20 Du skalt ock icke ligga när dins nästas hustru, til at beblanda dig med henne, dermed du orenar dig på henne. Moreover thou shalt not lie carnally with thy neighbour’s wife, to defile thyself with her.
21 Du skalt ock icke gifwa af dine säd, at det skall upbrännas för Molec, at du icke ohelgar dins Guds namn; ty jag är HERren. And thou shalt not let any of thy seed pass through the fire to Molech, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I am the Lord.
22 Du skalt icke ligga när drängar, såsom när ena qwinno; ty det är en styggelse. Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.
23 Du skalt ock icke ligga när något djur, at du dermed orenar dig: Och ingen qwinna skall skaffa hafwa med något djur; ty det är en styggelse. Neither shalt thou lie with any beast to defile thyself therewith: neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie down thereto: it is confusion.
24 I skolen uti intet af detta orena eder; förty uti allt detta hafwa Hedningarne orenat sig, hwilka jag skall här utdrifwa för eder. Defile not ye yourselves in any of these things: for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out before you:
25 Och landet är derigenom orenadt: Och jag skall söka deras missgerningar på dem, så at landet skall utspy sina inbyggare. And the land is defiled: therefore I do visit the iniquity thereof upon it, and the land itself vomiteth out her inhabitants.
26 Derföre håller mina stadgar och rätter, och görer intet af denna styggelsen, antingen inländske eller utländske ibland eder: Ye shall therefore keep my statutes and my judgments, and shall not commit any of these abominations; neither any of your own nation, nor any stranger that sojourneth among you:
27 Ty all sådana styggelse hafwa landsens folk gjort, som för eder woro, och hafwa orenat landet: (For all these abominations have the men of the land done, which were before you, and the land is defiled;)
28 På det at landet ock icke utspyr eder, då I det orenen, lika som det hafwer utspytt Hedningarna, som för eder woro. That the land spue not you out also, when ye defile it, as it spued out the nations that were before you.
29 Förty, de som göra denna styggelsen, deras själar skola utrotade warda utu deras folk. For whosoever shall commit any of these abominations, even the souls that commit them shall be cut off from among their people.
30 Derföre håller mina stadgar, at I icke gören efter de styggeliga seder, som för eder woro, at I icke dermed orenade warden; ty jag är HERren edar Gud. Therefore shall ye keep mine ordinance, that ye commit not any one of these abominable customs, which were committed before you, and that ye defile not yourselves therein: I am the Lord your God.
