절Old Public Domain Pohnpeian BibleKing James Version
A NGEN me kotin kokop melel, ni imwin kaua akai pan pupe wei sang poson, ap id wuki ong ngen widing o padak en tewil akan, Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
Me kin sansale mau ki liki, ap likilikam o insen arail kakaluakalar ki kisin mata karakar. Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
Re kin inapwiedi kapapaud, o dene ren liki sang song en manga, me Kot kotin wiadang irail, me danke, o poson, o dedekila melel o. Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.
Pwe audepa karos, en Kot me mau, o sota meakot me mal, ma aramas pan tungole ap danke. For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:
Pwe a pan kasaraui kila masan Kot o kapakap. For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.
Ma koe pan padaki ong ri atail akan, koe ap pan papa en Kristus Iesus mau amen, me kin keleki masan en poson o padak mau, me koe dadaureta mau lel met. If thou put the brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine, whereunto thou hast attained.
A koe en kang kasoi likam en li laud akai o kaianeki pein uk me kon ong Kot. But refuse profane and old wives’ fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness.
Pwe kaiane kin uk pali war, a sota non katepa, a meid mau paieki Kot ni meakaros, pwe iei kaporopor en maur et o pil maur kokodo. For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.
Nan melel kasoi pot et o a war ong kitail en apwaliela. This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptation.
Pwe iet me se kin dodok ong o kalokolokki, at kaporoporeki Kot ieias, me Saunkamaur en aramas akan karos, a mas ong irail me poson. For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe.
Mepukat koe en katitiki o kaukaweweki. These things command and teach.
Sota amen me pan mamaleki om manakap, a wiala men kaalemongi ong saulang kan, ni om lokaia o wiawia kan, o limpok, o poson, o makelekel. Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.
O nantiong wadok, o panaui, o padak lao i pan pwar wei. Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine.
Der kasamal la pai en mak o, me koe aleer ki deideikop o ni en saunkoa kan ar pwil pa ar po om. Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery.
Koe en podidi o sopisokki mepukat, pwe om lolekong en sansal ong karos. Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all.
Kalaka pein uk o padak o, tengedi ong song pukat, pwe ma koe pan wiada due, koe ap pan dorela pein uk o pil, me kin rong uk. Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.
