| 2 | Våre føter fekk standa i dine portar, Jerusalem. | Our feet shall stand within thy gates, O Jerusalem. |
| 3 | Jerusalem, du velbygde by, ein by som heng vel i hop. | Jerusalem is builded as a city that is compact together: |
| 4 | Der ætterne fer upp, Herrens ætter, etter Israels lov, til å prisa Herrens namn. | Whither the tribes go up, the tribes of the Lord, unto the testimony of Israel, to give thanks unto the name of the Lord. |
| 5 | For der er stolar sette til domstolar for Davids hus. | For there are set thrones of judgment, the thrones of the house of David. |
| 6 | Bed um fred for Jerusalem! det gange deim vel som elskar deg! | Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee. |
