절	새한글성경 (2024)	King James Version
1	여호와께서 욥에게 말씀하셨다.	Moreover the Lord answered Job, and said,
2	“트집 잡는 사람이 샷다이(전능하신 분)와 다투겠느냐? 하나님을 나무라는 자, 대답해 보아라.”	Shall he that contendeth with the Almighty instruct him? he that reproveth God, let him answer it.
3	욥의 첫 번째 대답 욥이 여호와께 대답했다.	Then Job answered the Lord, and said,
4	“보십시오, 보잘것없는 사람입니다. 제가 주님께 뭐라 답하겠습니까? 제 손을 입에 댈 뿐입니다.	Behold, I am vile; what shall I answer thee? I will lay mine hand upon my mouth.
5	한 번 말씀드렸으니 대답하지 않겠습니다. 두 번 말씀드렸으니 더는 하지 않겠습니다.”	Once have I spoken; but I will not answer: yea, twice; but I will proceed no further.
6	여호와의 두 번째 말씀 그러자 여호와께서 폭풍우 가운데서 욥에게 말씀하셨다.	Then answered the Lord unto Job out of the whirlwind, and said,
7	“남자답게 허리를 묶으려무나. 내가 물을 테니 나한테 좀 알려 다오.	Gird up thy loins now like a man: I will demand of thee, and declare thou unto me.
8	네가 나의 정의를 깨뜨리기라도 하려느냐? 너를 의롭다 하려고 나를 악하다 하려느냐?	Wilt thou also disannul my judgment? wilt thou condemn me, that thou mayest be righteous?
9	너에게 하나님 같은 팔이 있느냐? 하나님 같은 목소리로 천둥이 치게 할 수 있느냐?	Hast thou an arm like God? or canst thou thunder with a voice like him?
10	남다르고 뛰어난 것으로 몸을 꾸며 보아라. 위엄과 명예라는 옷을 입어 보아라.	Deck thyself now with majesty and excellency; and array thyself with glory and beauty.
11	밀려오는 너의 무서운 분노를 쏟아붓고, 누구든 우쭐대면 노려보아 기를 꺾어라.	Cast abroad the rage of thy wrath: and behold every one that is proud, and abase him.
12	누구든 우쭐대면 노려보아 기죽이고, 불의한 사람들을 그 자리에서 짓밟아라.	Look on every one that is proud, and bring him low; and tread down the wicked in their place.
13	그들을 하나같이 흙에 묻어라. 그들 얼굴은 아무도 못 보게 싸매 버려라.	Hide them in the dust together; and bind their faces in secret.
14	그럼 나도 너에게 대단하다 말해 주지. 네 오른손이 너를 건져 낼 수 있다고.	Then will I also confess unto thee that thine own right hand can save thee.
15	보라, 브헤못을. 너를 만든 것처럼 내가 그놈을 만들었단다. 소처럼 풀을 먹지.	Behold now behemoth, which I made with thee; he eateth grass as an ox.
16	보라, 허리가 얼마나 센지. 배 힘줄이 얼마나 단단한지.	Lo now, his strength is in his loins, and his force is in the navel of his belly.
17	꼬리는 삼나무(백향목)처럼 딱딱하지. 넓적다리 힘줄이 촘촘히 짜여 있지.	He moveth his tail like a cedar: the sinews of his stones are wrapped together.
18	뼈가 놋파이프 같고, 뼈대가 쇠막대 같지.	His bones are as strong pieces of brass; his bones are like bars of iron.
19	그놈은 하나님이 가는 길에서 처음으로 만든 것이야. 그놈 만든 이가 그놈에게 칼을 주었지.	He is the chief of the ways of God: he that made him can make his sword to approach unto him.
20	먹을거리는 산이 대 주는 거야. 온갖 들짐승 뛰노는 그곳이.	Surely the mountains bring him forth food, where all the beasts of the field play.
21	연잎 아래 그놈이 눕지. 그 숨는 곳 곧 갈대와 늪에.	He lieth under the shady trees, in the covert of the reed, and fens.
22	연잎이 그 위에 그림자를 드리우지. 마른시내 버들도 그놈을 둘러싼단다.	The shady trees cover him with their shadow; the willows of the brook compass him about.
23	보라, 강물 거세게 차올라도 눈도 깜짝 안 하는구나. 요르단강 입까지 솟구쳐 올라도 아무렇지 않구나.	Behold, he drinketh up a river, and hasteth not: he trusteth that he can draw up Jordan into his mouth.
24	그놈이 눈 뜨고 있는데 사로잡을 수 있겠느냐? 덫을 놓아서 코를 꿸 수 있겠느냐?”	He taketh it with his eyes: his nose pierceth through snares.
