절	새한글성경 (2024)	King James Version
1	엘리후는 덧붙여 말했다.	Elihu also proceeded, and said,
2	“조금만 더 기다려 주시면 알려 드리겠습니다. 아직 하나님을 위해 할 말이 남아 있어요.	Suffer me a little, and I will shew thee that I have yet to speak on God’s behalf.
3	먼 곳에 관해 제가 아는 것을 끌어오겠습니다. 저를 만드신 분이 공의롭다 밝히겠습니다.	I will fetch my knowledge from afar, and will ascribe righteousness to my Maker.
4	참으로 제 말은 거짓말이 아닙니다. 지식이 완전한 사람이 어르신 곁에 있는 것이에요.	For truly my words shall not be false: he that is perfect in knowledge is with thee.
5	보십시오, 하나님은 힘이 있으시지만 깔보시지 않습니다. 마음이 강력하여 힘이 있으신 것이지요.	Behold, God is mighty, and despiseth not any: he is mighty in strength and wisdom.
6	악인을 살려 두시지 않습니다. 불쌍한 사람들을 정의롭게 대하시지요.	He preserveth not the life of the wicked: but giveth right to the poor.
7	의인에게서 눈을 떼시지 않습니다. 그들을 임금들과 함께 임금자리에 영영 앉게 하시니, 그들이 높아집니다.	He withdraweth not his eyes from the righteous: but with kings are they on the throne; yea, he doth establish them for ever, and they are exalted.
8	그들이 사슬에 매일 수도 있고, 괴로움의 매듭에 묶일 수도 있습니다.	And if they be bound in fetters, and be holden in cords of affliction;
9	그러면 그분은 그들의 행동을 알려 주십니다. 그들이 거들먹거리며 저지른 죄를 알려 주시지요.	Then he sheweth them their work, and their transgressions that they have exceeded.
10	그들의 귀를 열어 타이르십니다. 못된 짓에서 돌아서라 말씀하시지요.	He openeth also their ear to discipline, and commandeth that they return from iniquity.
11	그들이 듣고 섬긴다면, 자기들의 삶을 행복하게 끝내겠지요. 자기들의 세월을 기쁘게요.	If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures.
12	듣지 않으면 칼에 사라집니다. 아무것도 모른 채 죽겠지요.	But if they obey not, they shall perish by the sword, and they shall die without knowledge.
13	마음에 하나님을 멀리하는 사람들은 화를 품지요. 그분이 그들을 가두셔도 도와 달라고 부르짖지 않지요.	But the hypocrites in heart heap up wrath: they cry not when he bindeth them.
14	그들은 젊은 나이에 목숨을 잃을 거예요. 그들의 삶이 몸 파는 사람들 사이에서 끝장날 거예요.	They die in youth, and their life is among the unclean.
15	그분은 괴로운 사람들을 괴로움에서 끄집어내 주십니다. 억압받을 때 그들의 귀를 열어 주시지요.	He delivereth the poor in his affliction, and openeth their ears in oppression.
16	더구나 그분은 어려움 앞에서 어르신을 이끌어 내십니다. 괴로움 없이 탁 트인 곳으로요. 어르신의 아늑한 식탁은 기름진 음식으로 가득하지요.	Even so would he have removed thee out of the strait into a broad place, where there is no straitness; and that which should be set on thy table should be full of fatness.
17	그런데 어르신은 악인이 받을 판결 생각으로 가득합니다. 판결과 정의에 사로잡히시는군요.	But thou hast fulfilled the judgment of the wicked: judgment and justice take hold on thee.
18	노여움을 참지 못해 놀림감이 되시면 안 됩니다. 목숨값을 많이 준다고 마음이 비뚤어지시면 안 되지요.	Because there is wrath, beware lest he take thee away with his stroke: then a great ransom cannot deliver thee.
19	어르신이 부르짖는다고 어려움이 없을까요? 안간힘을 다한다고 될까요?	Will he esteem thy riches? no, not gold, nor all the forces of strength.
20	밤을 기다리지 마십시오. 사람들이 제자리에서 들려 올라가는 밤을.	Desire not the night, when people are cut off in their place.
21	조심하십시오. 못된 짓으로 기울어지지 않도록. 어르신은 괴로움보다 못된 짓을 선택하셨거든요.	Take heed, regard not iniquity: for this hast thou chosen rather than affliction.
22	보십시오, 하나님은 힘이 어마어마하십니다. 그분 같은 선생님이 어디 있습니까?	Behold, God exalteth by his power: who teacheth like him?
23	누가 그분 가실 길을 정해 주었습니까? 누가 ‘주님이 잘못하셨습니다.’라고 말했습니까?	Who hath enjoined him his way? or who can say, Thou hast wrought iniquity?
24	기억하십시오. 어르신은 그분의 활동을 크게 기려야 합니다. 그것을 두고 사람들이 노래했습니다.	Remember that thou magnify his work, which men behold.
25	모두가 그것을 보았습니다. 사람이 멀리서 바라봅니다.	Every man may see it; man may behold it afar off.
26	보십시오, 하나님은 크신 분이시지만 우리가 알 수는 없습니다. 하나님의 햇수는 헤아릴 수 없지요.	Behold, God is great, and we know him not, neither can the number of his years be searched out.
27	하나님은 물방울을 끌어 올리십니다. 빗방울이 걸러져 하나님의 안개가 되지요.	For he maketh small the drops of water: they pour down rain according to the vapour thereof:
28	하나님은 구름이 비를 흘러내리게 하십니다. 많은 사람 위로 방울방울 떨어지게 하시지요.	Which the clouds do drop and distil upon man abundantly.
29	게다가, 누가 알 수 있습니까, 구름이 어떻게 퍼지는지를? 그분의 움막집에서 어떻게 천둥소리가 나는지를?	Also can any understand the spreadings of the clouds, or the noise of his tabernacle?
30	보십시오, 그분이 주변을 당신 빛으로 비추셨습니다. 그러나 바다의 깊은 곳은 감추셨지요.	Behold, he spreadeth his light upon it, and covereth the bottom of the sea.
31	이렇게 민족들을 재판하십니다. 먹을 것을 부족함 없이 주시지요.	For by them judgeth he the people; he giveth meat in abundance.
32	두 손에 빛을 감추셨다가, 명령을 내리셔서 공격하는 자를 치게 하십니다.	With clouds he covereth the light; and commandeth it not to shine by the cloud that cometh betwixt.
33	그분의 우르릉거림은 그분에 관해 알려 줍니다. 가축들도 무슨 일이 일어나는지 알려 주지요.”	The noise thereof sheweth concerning it, the cattle also concerning the vapour.
