절	새한글성경 (2024)	King James Version
1	욥의 말 욥이 또 대답하여 말했다.	And Job answered and said,
2	“참으로 그대들만 깨친 사람들이어서, 그대들과 함께 지혜도 죽어 버리겠구나!	No doubt but ye are the people, and wisdom shall die with you.
3	나에게도 그대들에게처럼 깨달음이 있다네. 내가 그대들보다 뒤지지 않는다네. 이런 것들이 누구에겐들 없겠는가?	But I have understanding as well as you; I am not inferior to you: yea, who knoweth not such things as these?
4	내가 벗에게 웃음거리가 되고 있구나. 내가 하나님께 부르짖자, 하나님이 나에게 대답해 주셨는데도! 나는 웃음거리로구나, 의인, 완전한 사람인데도!	I am as one mocked of his neighbour, who calleth upon God, and he answereth him: the just upright man is laughed to scorn.
5	재난은 하찮은 것이지, 편안히 사는 사람의 생각에는. 그러나 비틀거리는 사람들에게는 발길질을 하지.	He that is ready to slip with his feet is as a lamp despised in the thought of him that is at ease.
6	황폐하게 하는 사람들의 천막이 편안하고, 하나님을 자극하는 사람들이 사는 골짜기도 그러하다니! 그들은 하나님을 자기 손아귀에 넣는 사람들인데도.	The tabernacles of robbers prosper, and they that provoke God are secure; into whose hand God bringeth abundantly.
7	그러나 짐승들에게 물어보게. 그대에게 가르쳐 줄 것이네. 하늘의 새들에게도 물어보게. 그대에게 이야기해 줄 것이네.	But ask now the beasts, and they shall teach thee; and the fowls of the air, and they shall tell thee:
8	아니면 땅에게 알아보게. 그대에게 가르쳐 줄 것이네. 바다의 물고기들도 그대에게 이야기해 줄 것이네.	Or speak to the earth, and it shall teach thee: and the fishes of the sea shall declare unto thee.
9	누가 이 모든 것을 모른단 말인가, 여호와의 손이 이것을 만드신 것을?	Who knoweth not in all these that the hand of the Lord hath wrought this?
10	모든 생명의 입김은 그분의 손에 달려 있고, 몸을 지닌 모든 사람의 숨결도 그러하다네.	In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind.
11	귀가 말을 알아듣고, 입이 음식 맛을 알아내지 않는가?	Doth not the ear try words? and the mouth taste his meat?
12	나이 많은 사람들에게 지혜가 있다고? 살아 본 날이 오랜 사람들에게 분별력이 있다고?	With the ancient is wisdom; and in length of days understanding.
13	하나님께 있지, 지혜와 힘은! 그분의 것이지, 조언과 분별력은!	With him is wisdom and strength, he hath counsel and understanding.
14	이보게나, 그분이 허물어 버리시면, 아무도 세울 수가 없네. 그분이 사람을 가두시면, 아무도 풀어 줄 수가 없네.	Behold, he breaketh down, and it cannot be built again: he shutteth up a man, and there can be no opening.
15	이보게나, 그분이 막으시면 물이 말라 버리고, 그분이 내보내시면 물이 땅을 뒤엎어 버리네.	Behold, he withholdeth the waters, and they dry up: also he sendeth them out, and they overturn the earth.
16	그분께 있네, 강함과 두루 살핌이! 그분의 것이네, 잘못 가는 사람도 잘못으로 이끄는 사람도!	With him is strength and wisdom: the deceived and the deceiver are his.
17	그분은 조언하는 사람들을 맨발로 끌려가게 하시고, 판가름하는 사람들을 바보로 만들어 버리신다네.	He leadeth counsellors away spoiled, and maketh the judges fools.
18	임금들을 사슬에서 풀려나게 하시고는, 그들의 허리를 허리띠로 묶어 주신다네.	He looseth the bond of kings, and girdeth their loins with a girdle.
19	제사장들을 맨발로 끌려가게 하시고, 전통 깊은 집안의 사람들을 쓰러뜨리신다네.	He leadeth princes away spoiled, and overthroweth the mighty.
20	미더운 사람들의 입술을 앗아 가시고, 나이 든 사람들의 감각을 거두어 가신다네.	He removeth away the speech of the trusty, and taketh away the understanding of the aged.
21	지체 높은 사람들을 한껏 깔보시고, 힘센 사람들의 허리띠를 느슨하게 하신다네.	He poureth contempt upon princes, and weakeneth the strength of the mighty.
22	깊이를 알 수 없는 일들을 어둠에서부터 드러내시고, 캄캄함을 빛 가운데로 나오게 하신다네.	He discovereth deep things out of darkness, and bringeth out to light the shadow of death.
23	민족들을 크게 만드셨다가 망하게도 하신다네. 민족들을 퍼지게 하셨다가 끌어내 버리기도 하신다네.	He increaseth the nations, and destroyeth them: he enlargeth the nations, and straiteneth them again.
24	이 땅 백성의 우두머리들에게 깨달음이 없게 하셔서, 길 없는 거친 땅에서 헤매게 하신다네.	He taketh away the heart of the chief of the people of the earth, and causeth them to wander in a wilderness where there is no way.
25	어둠 가운데 이리저리 더듬지만 빛이 없어, 술 취한 사람처럼 헤매게 하신다네.”	They grope in the dark without light, and he maketh them to stagger like a drunken man.
