절	새한글성경 (2024)	King James Version
1	두 증인 나에게 측량 막대기 하나가 주어졌는데, 지팡이를 닮은 것이었습니다. 이런 말씀도 들렸습니다. “일어나라! 하나님의 성전과 제단을 재어 보고, 거기서 엎드려 절하는 사람들을 헤아려 보아라!	And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.
2	그러나 성전의 바깥마당은 내버려두고 재지 마라. 다른 민족들에게 주어졌기 때문이다. 그들이 거룩한 도시를 42개월 동안 짓밟을 것이다.	But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.
3	내가 나의 두 증인에게 능력을 줄 것이고, 그들이 1,260일 동안 거친 천을 두르고 예언할 것이다.”	And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.
4	이들은 두 그루 올리브나무요, 두 개의 등불받침대로 땅의 주님 앞에 서 있습니다.	These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.
5	누군가 그들에게 해로움을 끼치려고 하면, 그들의 입에서 불이 나와서 그들의 원수들을 먹어 버릴 것입니다. 누군가 그들에게 해로움을 끼치려고 한다면, 그는 반드시 이와 같이 죽임을 당하고 말 것입니다.	And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.
6	이들에게는 하늘을 닫을 권한이 있어서, 자기들이 예언하는 날 동안 비가 내리지 않게 할 수 있습니다. 또 그들에게는 물에 대한 권한이 있어서 물을 피로 바꾸어 놓을 수 있습니다. 그러고 싶을 때마다 온갖 재앙으로 땅을 칠 수 있습니다.	These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.
7	그런데 그들이 증언을 끝마치게 될 때, 밑바닥 없는 구덩이(무저갱)에서 올라오는 그 짐승이 그들과 전쟁을 벌일 것입니다. 그리고 그들을 이기고 그들을 죽일 것입니다.	And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.
8	두 증인의 주검은 큰 도시의 큰길 위에 버려질 것입니다. 그 도시는 영적으로 소돔이라고도 불리고, 이집트라고도 불립니다. 그곳에서 그들의 주님도 십자가에 매달렸습니다.	And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.
9	백성들과 종족들과 언어들과 민족들에서 나온 사람들이 그들의 주검들을 3일 반 동안 볼 것입니다. 그들의 주검들이 무덤에 모셔지는 것을 허락하지 않을 것입니다.	And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.
10	땅 위에 자리 잡고 사는 사람들은 그들을 두고 기뻐하고 즐거워할 것입니다. 서로 선물을 보낼 것입니다. 이 두 예언자들은 땅 위에 자리 잡고 사는 사람들을 괴롭게 했기 때문입니다.	And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.
11	그러나 3일 반 뒤에 생명의 영이 하나님에게서 나와서 그 예언자들 속에 들어갔습니다. 그러자 그들이 자기 발로 일어섰습니다. 큰 두려움이 그들을 지켜보고 있던 사람들 위에 덮쳤습니다.	And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.
12	그때에 그 예언자들이 하늘에서 나는 큰 소리를 들었습니다. 그 소리가 그들에게 이렇게 말했습니다. “이리로 올라오너라!” 그래서 그들이 구름을 타고 하늘로 올라갔습니다. 그 예언자들을 그 원수들이 지켜보았습니다.	And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.
13	바로 그 시각에 큰 지진이 생겨나서 그 도시의 10분의 1이 무너졌습니다. 그 지진에 죽은 사람이 7,000명이었습니다. 살아남은 사람들은 두려움에 빠져서 영광을 하늘의 하나님께 돌렸습니다.	And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.
14	‘재난’ 두 번째 것이 지나갔습니다. 보세요, ‘재난’ 세 번째 것이 빨리 닥쳐오고 있습니다.	The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly.
15	일곱 번째 천사가 나팔을 울리다 또 일곱 번째 천사가 나팔을 울렸습니다. 그때 하늘에서 큰 소리가 났는데, 이렇게 말했습니다. “세상 나라는 우리 주님의 나라가 되었고, 또 주님의 그리스도의 나라가 되었다네. 그분이 끝까지 영원히 임금으로 다스리실 것이라네.”	And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.
16	또 하나님 앞에서 자기들의 임금자리에 앉아 있는 24명의 원로들이 자기들의 얼굴을 땅에 대고 엎드려 하나님께 절했습니다.	And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God,
17	그러면서 말했습니다. “우리가 주님께 감사드리네, 오, 주 하나님, 전능하신 분! 이제도 계시고 전에도 계셨던 분! 주님께서 주님의 큰 능력을 잡으셔서 임금이 되셨기 때문이라네.	Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned.
18	다른 민족들은 화가 치밀었지만 오히려 주님의 진노가 닥쳐왔다네, 죽은 사람들이 심판을 받을 때가. 이때에 주님의 종 예언자들에게는 보상을 주신다네. 성도들에게 또 주님의 이름을 두려워하는 사람들에게도, 보잘것없는 사람이든 대단한 사람이든. 그리고 땅을 망하게 한 사람들은 망하게 하신다네.”	And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.
19	그러자 하나님의 성전, 곧 하늘에 있는 성전이 열렸습니다. 그리고 하나님의 성전에 있는 하나님의 언약상자가 보였습니다. 그때에 번개들과 소리들과 천둥들과 지진과 큰 우박이 일었습니다.	And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.
