1	천사와 작은 두루마리 책 또 나는 보았습니다. 힘 있는 다른 천사 하나가 하늘에서 내려오고 있었습니다. 그는 구름을 둘러 입고 있었습니다. 무지개가 그의 머리 위에 있고, 그의 얼굴은 해와 같았으며, 그의 발들은 불기둥 같았습니다.	And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire:
2	그의 손에는 작은 두루마리 책이 펼쳐져 있었습니다. 그가 자기 오른발을 바다 위에, 왼발은 땅 위에 올려놓았습니다.	And he had in his hand a little book open: and he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot on the earth,
3	그러고는 그가 큰 소리로 외쳤는데, 사자가 으르렁거리는 것 같았습니다. 그 천사가 외쳤을 때, 일곱 개의 천둥이 자기들의 소리를 내어 말했습니다.	And cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roareth: and when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices.
4	그 일곱 개의 천둥이 말을 했을 때, 내가 막 받아 적으려고 했습니다. 그때에 내가 하늘로부터 어떤 소리를 들었는데, 이렇게 말했습니다. “그 일곱 개의 천둥이 말한 것을 비밀에 부쳐라. 그것들을 받아 적지 마라.”	And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not.
5	바다 위와 땅 위에 서 있는 것을 내가 보았던 그 천사가 자기 오른쪽 손을 하늘로 들어 올렸습니다.	And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven,
6	그러고는 영원 영원히 살아 계신 분을 두고 맹세했습니다. 하늘과 거기에 있는 것들, 땅과 거기에 있는 것들, 바다와 거기에 있는 것들을 창조하신 분을 두고서 말입니다. “시간이 더 이상 없을 것입니다.	And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer:
7	그러나 일곱 번째 천사가 소리를 내는 날들이 올 것입니다. 그가 장차 나팔을 울리게 될 때에, 하나님의 비밀한 계획이 끝마무리될 것입니다. 하나님이 하나님의 종인 예언자들에게 좋은 소식으로 알려 주신 대로 말입니다.”	But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.
8	하늘로부터 내가 들었던 그 소리가 다시 나하고 이야기를 나누었는데, 이렇게 말했습니다. “너는 가서 두루마리 책을 받아라. 바다 위와 땅 위에 서 있는 천사의 손에 펼쳐져 있는 책 말이다.”	And the voice which I heard from heaven spake unto me again, and said, Go and take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel which standeth upon the sea and upon the earth.
9	그래서 내가 그 천사한테 가서 그 작은 두루마리 책을 나에게 달라고 말했습니다. 그러자 그 천사가 나에게 말합니다. “이것을 받아서 먹어 버리세요. 이것이 그대의 배를 쓰라리게 하겠지만, 그대의 입에는 꿀처럼 달 겁니다.”	And I went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give me the little book. And he said unto me, Take it, and eat it up; and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey.
10	그래서 내가 그 천사의 손에서 그 작은 두루마리 책을 받아서 그것을 먹어 버렸습니다. 그것이 내 입에는 꿀처럼 달았습니다. 그러나 내가 그것을 먹었을 때, 내 배는 쓰라렸습니다.	And I took the little book out of the angel’s hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter.
11	그때 나에게 이런 말이 들려옵니다. “그대는 백성들과 민족들과 언어들과 많은 임금들에 대해서 다시 예언해야만 합니다.”	And he said unto me, Thou must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings.
