절	새한글성경 (2024)	King James Version
1	레갑의 후손은 영원히 내 앞에 서리라 여호와께로부터 예레미야에게 내려온 말씀. 요시야의 아들인 유다 임금 여호야김 때였다.	The word which came unto Jeremiah from the Lord in the days of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, saying,
2	(하나님) “너는 레갑 사람들의 집으로 가서 그들에게 말해 주어라. 그들을 여호와의 집에 있는 여러 방 가운데 한 곳으로 데려가라. 그러고는 그들에게 포도주를 마시게 해라.”	Go unto the house of the Rechabites, and speak unto them, and bring them into the house of the Lord, into one of the chambers, and give them wine to drink.
3	(예언자) 그래서 내가 야아사냐를 데려갔습니다. 그는 예레미야의 아들이자 하밧시냐의 손자였습니다. 그의 형제들과 모든 자녀와 레갑 사람들의 온 집안도 함께 데려갔습니다.	Then I took Jaazaniah the son of Jeremiah, the son of Habaziniah, and his brethren, and all his sons, and the whole house of the Rechabites;
4	내가 그들을 여호와의 집에 있는 하난의 아들들 방으로 데려갔습니다. 그는 익달랴의 아들로 하나님의 사람이었습니다. 그 방은 고위 관리들의 방 옆에 있었습니다. 고위 관리들의 방은 살룸의 아들, 성전 문지기 마아세야의 방 위쪽에 있었습니다.	And I brought them into the house of the Lord, into the chamber of the sons of Hanan, the son of Igdaliah, a man of God, which was by the chamber of the princes, which was above the chamber of Maaseiah the son of Shallum, the keeper of the door:
5	내가 레갑 집안의 사람들 앞에 포도주가 가득 든 사발과 잔을 두었습니다. 그러고는 그들에게 포도주를 마시라고 말했습니다.	And I set before the sons of the house of the Rechabites pots full of wine, and cups, and I said unto them, Drink ye wine.
6	그러자 그들이 대답했습니다. (레갑 사람들) “우리는 포도주를 마시지 않겠습니다. 레갑의 아드님인 우리 조상 여호나답께서 우리에게 명령하여 말씀하셨습니다. ‘너희와 너희 자손은 영원에 이르도록 포도주를 마시지 마라!	But they said, We will drink no wine: for Jonadab the son of Rechab our father commanded us, saying, Ye shall drink no wine, neither ye, nor your sons for ever:
7	너희는 집도 짓지 말고, 씨도 뿌리지 말고, 포도밭도 가꾸지 말고, 너희 것으로 삼지도 마라. 천막에서 평생 살아라. 그러면 너희가 나그네로 머무는 땅 위에서 오래 살 것이다.’	Neither shall ye build house, nor sow seed, nor plant vineyard, nor have any: but all your days ye shall dwell in tents; that ye may live many days in the land where ye be strangers.
8	그래서 우리는 레갑의 아드님인 우리 조상 여호나답께서 우리에게 명령하신 그대로 그 말씀을 따랐습니다. 그래서 평생 포도주를 마시지 않습니다. 우리 자신뿐만 아니라 우리 아내도 아들들과 딸들도 그렇습니다.	Thus have we obeyed the voice of Jonadab the son of Rechab our father in all that he hath charged us, to drink no wine all our days, we, our wives, our sons, nor our daughters;
9	우리가 살 집도 짓지 않고 포도밭도 밭도 씨앗도 우리 것으로 삼지 않습니다.	Nor to build houses for us to dwell in: neither have we vineyard, nor field, nor seed:
10	우리는 천막에서 살아왔습니다. 우리 조상 여호나답께서 명령하신 모든 것을 그대로 따르고 실천해 왔습니다.	But we have dwelt in tents, and have obeyed, and done according to all that Jonadab our father commanded us.
11	그런데 바빌론 임금 네부카드네자르가 이 땅에 올라왔을 때 일이 일어났습니다. ‘자, 예루살렘으로 들어갑시다. 칼데아 군대와 시리아 군대를 피해서요!’라고 우리끼리 말하고, 우리가 예루살렘에 자리 잡았습니다.”	But it came to pass, when Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon came up into the land, that we said, Come, and let us go to Jerusalem for fear of the army of the Chaldeans, and for fear of the army of the Syrians: so we dwell at Jerusalem.
12	그러자 여호와의 말씀이 예레미야에게 내려오는 일이 일어났다.	Then came the word of the Lord unto Jeremiah, saying,
13	(예언자) 전능하신 여호와 이스라엘의 하나님이 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. (하나님) “너는 가서 유다 사람들과 예루살렘에 사는 사람들에게 말해 주어라! ‘너희가 징계를 받아들이지 않을 것이냐? 내 말을 듣지 않을 것이냐? ― 여호와의 말씀입니다. ―	Thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel; Go and tell the men of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, Will ye not receive instruction to hearken to my words? saith the Lord.
14	레갑의 아들 여호나답이 한 말이 이루어져 왔다. 자손들에게 포도주를 마시지 말라고 명령했는데 그 자손들이 오늘까지 포도주를 마시지 않는다. 그들이 조상의 명령을 따라 왔기 때문이다. 그런데 내가 너희에게 거듭거듭 말했는데도 너희는 내 말을 듣지 않는다.	The words of Jonadab the son of Rechab, that he commanded his sons not to drink wine, are performed; for unto this day they drink none, but obey their father’s commandment: notwithstanding I have spoken unto you, rising early and speaking; but ye hearkened not unto me.
15	내가 너희에게 내 모든 종인 예언자들을 거듭거듭 보내어 말하게 했다. 「너희는 저마다 나쁜 길에서 돌아서서 너희의 행동을 개선해라. 다른 신들을 뒤따라가지 말고 섬기지도 마라. 그러면 내가 너희와 너희 조상들에게 준 땅에서 살 수 있을 것이다.」 그런데 너희는 귀를 기울이지 않았고, 내 말을 듣지 않았다.	I have sent also unto you all my servants the prophets, rising up early and sending them, saying, Return ye now every man from his evil way, and amend your doings, and go not after other gods to serve them, and ye shall dwell in the land which I have given to you and to your fathers: but ye have not inclined your ear, nor hearkened unto me.
16	레갑의 아들 여호나답의 자손들은 조상이 자기들에게 명령한 것을 이루어 오고 있다. 그런데 이 백성은 나의 말을 듣지 않았다.’”	Because the sons of Jonadab the son of Rechab have performed the commandment of their father, which he commanded them; but this people hath not hearkened unto me:
17	(예언자) 이러므로 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. 전능하신 하나님, 이스라엘의 하나님이 말씀하신 것입니다. (하나님) “보라, 유다에, 또 예루살렘에 사는 모든 사람에게 온갖 재난이 닥치게 하겠다. 내가 그들에게 말해 준 재난이다. 내가 그들에게 말했지만 그들은 듣지 않았기 때문이다. 내가 그들을 소리쳐 불렀지만 그들은 대답하지 않았기 때문이다.”	Therefore thus saith the Lord God of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will bring upon Judah and upon all the inhabitants of Jerusalem all the evil that I have pronounced against them: because I have spoken unto them, but they have not heard; and I have called unto them, but they have not answered.
18	레갑 사람들의 집안에 예레미야가 말했다. (예언자) “전능하신 여호와 이스라엘의 하나님이 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. (하나님) ‘너희는 너희 조상 여호나답의 명령을 듣고 그의 모든 명령을 지켜 왔다. 그가 너희에게 명령한 모든 것을 그대로 실행해 왔다.’	And Jeremiah said unto the house of the Rechabites, Thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel; Because ye have obeyed the commandment of Jonadab your father, and kept all his precepts, and done according unto all that he hath commanded you:
19	(예언자) 이러므로 전능하신 여호와 이스라엘의 하나님이 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. (하나님) ‘레갑의 아들 여호나답의 후손으로 나의 앞에 설 사람은 영원히 끊어지지 않을 것이다.’”	Therefore thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel; Jonadab the son of Rechab shall not want a man to stand before me for ever.
