1	예레미야가 하나냐와 다투다 (예언자) 그해에 일어난 일입니다. 시드기야가 유다 임금으로 다스리기 시작할 무렵인 넷째 해 다섯째 달이었습니다. 나에게 하나냐가 말했습니다. 그는 앗술의 아들인 예언자로 기브온 출신이었습니다. 여호와의 집에서 제사장들과 온 백성의 눈앞에서 그가 말했습니다.	And it came to pass the same year, in the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, in the fourth year, and in the fifth month, that Hananiah the son of Azur the prophet, which was of Gibeon, spake unto me in the house of the Lord, in the presence of the priests and of all the people, saying,
2	“전능하신 여호와 이스라엘의 하나님이 이렇게 말씀하셨소. (하나님) ‘내가 바빌론 임금의 멍에를 부서뜨리겠다.	Thus speaketh the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, saying, I have broken the yoke of the king of Babylon.
3	두 해 안에 내가 이곳으로 여호와의 집 모든 기구들을 옮겨 올 것이다. 이 기구들은 바빌론 임금 네부카드네자르가 이곳에서 빼앗아 바빌론으로 가져간 것이다.	Within two full years will I bring again into this place all the vessels of the Lord’s house, that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon took away from this place, and carried them to Babylon:
4	여호야김의 아들인 유다 임금 여고냐를 내가 이곳으로 돌아오게 하겠다. 바빌론으로 사로잡혀 간 유다 사람들도 모두 돌아오게 하겠다. ― 여호와의 말씀입니다. ― 내가 바빌론 임금의 멍에를 부서뜨릴 것이기 때문이다.’”	And I will bring again to this place Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah, with all the captives of Judah, that went into Babylon, saith the Lord: for I will break the yoke of the king of Babylon.
5	예레미야 예언자가 하나냐 예언자에게 말했다. 여호와의 집 안에 서 있는 제사장들과 모든 백성의 눈앞에서였다.	Then the prophet Jeremiah said unto the prophet Hananiah in the presence of the priests, and in the presence of all the people that stood in the house of the Lord,
6	예레미야 예언자가 말했다. (예언자) “아멘! 여호와께서 그렇게 해 주시기 바랍니다. 예언자님이 말한 것들을 여호와께서 이루어 주시기 바랍니다. 예언자님이 예언하셨습니다, 여호와께서 여호와의 집 기구들과 사로잡혀 간 모든 사람을 바빌론에서 이곳으로 돌아오게 해 주실 것이라고요.	Even the prophet Jeremiah said, Amen: the Lord do so: the Lord perform thy words which thou hast prophesied, to bring again the vessels of the Lord’s house, and all that is carried away captive, from Babylon into this place.
7	그렇지만 이 말을 잘 들어 보세요! 내가 예언자님과 온 백성의 귀에 들리도록 말한 것입니다.	Nevertheless hear thou now this word that I speak in thine ears, and in the ears of all the people;
8	나와 예언자님보다 앞서 예언자들이 계셨습니다, 오래전부터요. 그분들은 많은 나라 땅과 큰 왕국들에게 좋지 않게 예언하셨습니다, 전쟁과 굶주림과 돌림병이 닥칠 것이라고요.	The prophets that have been before me and before thee of old prophesied both against many countries, and against great kingdoms, of war, and of evil, and of pestilence.
9	평화를 예언하는 예언자도 계셨습니다. 그런 예언자는 그 말이 이루어져야 여호와께서 참으로 보내신 예언자로 알려질 것입니다.”	The prophet which prophesieth of peace, when the word of the prophet shall come to pass, then shall the prophet be known, that the Lord hath truly sent him.
10	그러자 하나냐 예언자가 예레미야 예언자의 목에서 멍에를 빼앗아 부수어 버렸다.	Then Hananiah the prophet took the yoke from off the prophet Jeremiah’s neck, and brake it.
11	하나냐는 온 백성의 눈앞에서 말했다. “여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. ‘이처럼 내가 바빌론 임금 네부카드네자르의 멍에를 두 해 안에 모든 민족의 목에서 벗겨 부숴 버리겠다.’” 그러자 예레미야 예언자는 자기 길을 갔다.	And Hananiah spake in the presence of all the people, saying, Thus saith the Lord; Even so will I break the yoke of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon from the neck of all nations within the space of two full years. And the prophet Jeremiah went his way.
12	여호와의 말씀이 예레미야에게 내려오는 일이 일어났다. 하나냐 예언자가 예레미야 예언자의 목에서 멍에를 빼앗아 부숴 버린 뒤였다.	Then the word of the Lord came unto Jeremiah the prophet, after that Hananiah the prophet had broken the yoke from off the neck of the prophet Jeremiah, saying,
13	(하나님) “가서 하나냐에게 말해 주어라. (예언자) ‘여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. (하나님) 「나무 멍에를 네가 부숴 버렸지만, 내가 그 대신에 쇠 멍에를 만들어 주겠다.」	Go and tell Hananiah, saying, Thus saith the Lord; Thou hast broken the yokes of wood; but thou shalt make for them yokes of iron.
14	(예언자) 전능하신 여호와 이스라엘의 하나님이 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. (하나님) 「쇠 멍에를 내가 이 모든 민족의 목에 두어 바빌론 임금 네부카드네자르를 섬기게 하겠다. 그래서 그들이 그를 섬길 것이다. 들짐승도 내가 그에게 넘겨주겠다.」’”	For thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel; I have put a yoke of iron upon the neck of all these nations, that they may serve Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon; and they shall serve him: and I have given him the beasts of the field also.
15	예레미야 예언자가 하나냐 예언자에게 말했다. “잘 들어 보십시오, 하나냐여! 예언자님을 여호와께서는 보내신 적이 없습니다. 그런데도 예언자님은 이 백성에게 거짓을 의지하게 했습니다.	Then said the prophet Jeremiah unto Hananiah the prophet, Hear now, Hananiah; The Lord hath not sent thee; but thou makest this people to trust in a lie.
16	그러므로 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. (하나님) ‘보라, 내가 너를 이 땅에서부터 내보내 버리겠다. 네가 올해 죽을 것이다.’ 예언자님이 틀린 말을 하여 여호와를 거슬렀기 때문입니다.”	Therefore thus saith the Lord; Behold, I will cast thee from off the face of the earth: this year thou shalt die, because thou hast taught rebellion against the Lord.
17	하나냐 예언자가 그해에 죽었다. 일곱째 달이었다.	So Hananiah the prophet died the same year in the seventh month.
