절	새한글성경 (2024)	King James Version
1	23년 동안의 예언의 말씀 모든 유다 백성에 대해 예레미야에게 내려온 말씀. 요시야의 아들 유다 임금 여호야김 넷째 해였다. 그해는 바빌론 임금 네부카드네자르 첫째 해였다.	The word that came to Jeremiah concerning all the people of Judah in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, that was the first year of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon;
2	예레미야 예언자가 모든 유다 백성과 예루살렘에 사는 모든 사람에게 전해 준 말씀이다.	The which Jeremiah the prophet spake unto all the people of Judah, and to all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, saying,
3	(예언자) 아몬의 아들 유다 임금 요시야 열셋째 해부터 오늘까지 23년 동안 여호와의 말씀이 나에게 내려오는 일이 일어났습니다. 내가 여러분에게 거듭거듭 말했지만 여러분은 듣지 않았습니다.	From the thirteenth year of Josiah the son of Amon king of Judah, even unto this day, that is the three and twentieth year, the word of the Lord hath come unto me, and I have spoken unto you, rising early and speaking; but ye have not hearkened.
4	여호와께서 여러분에게 여호와의 모든 종 곧 예언자들을 거듭거듭 보내 말씀하셨습니다. 그런데 여러분은 듣지 않았습니다. 귀 기울여 듣지 않았습니다.	And the Lord hath sent unto you all his servants the prophets, rising early and sending them; but ye have not hearkened, nor inclined your ear to hear.
5	여호와께서 말씀하셨습니다. (하나님) “너희는 저마다 자신의 악한 길과 너희의 악한 행동에서 돌아서라. 그러면 여호와가 너희와 너희의 조상들에게 영원부터 영원까지 준 땅에 살 것이다.	They said, Turn ye again now every one from his evil way, and from the evil of your doings, and dwell in the land that the Lord hath given unto you and to your fathers for ever and ever:
6	다른 신들을 뒤따라가지 마라! 그들을 섬기지도 말고 그들에게 엎드려 절하지도 마라. 너희 손으로 만든 것으로 나를 노엽게 하지 마라. 내가 너희에게 재난을 내리게 하지 마라.	And go not after other gods to serve them, and to worship them, and provoke me not to anger with the works of your hands; and I will do you no hurt.
7	그러나 너희는 나의 말을 듣지 않았다. ― 여호와의 말씀입니다. ― 너희 손으로 만든 것으로 나를 노엽게 하여 너희에게 재난이 닥쳤다.”	Yet ye have not hearkened unto me, saith the Lord; that ye might provoke me to anger with the works of your hands to your own hurt.
8	(예언자) 이러므로 전능하신 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. (하나님) “너희가 나의 말을 듣지 않았다.	Therefore thus saith the Lord of hosts; Because ye have not heard my words,
9	그 때문에, 보라, 내가 사람을 보내 북쪽의 부족들을 모두 데려오겠다. ― 여호와의 말씀입니다. ― 네부카드네자르도 데려오겠다. 그는 바빌론 임금이자 나의 종이다. 내가 그들을 데려와서 이 땅과 이 땅에 사는 사람들과 그 둘레에 있는 이 모든 민족을 쳐부수게 하겠다. 내가 그들을 완전히 없애 버리겠다. 끔찍한 본보기와 비웃음거리로 만들겠다. 영원히 쑥대밭으로 만들겠다.	Behold, I will send and take all the families of the north, saith the Lord, and Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon, my servant, and will bring them against this land, and against the inhabitants thereof, and against all these nations round about, and will utterly destroy them, and make them an astonishment, and an hissing, and perpetual desolations.
10	내가 그들한테서부터 즐거운 소리와 기쁜 소리를, 신랑의 소리와 신부의 소리를 없애 버리겠다. 맷돌 소리와 등불도 없애 버리겠다.	Moreover I will take from them the voice of mirth, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride, the sound of the millstones, and the light of the candle.
11	이 땅 전체가 쑥대밭이 되고 끔찍한 곳이 될 것이다. 이 민족들이 70년 동안 바빌론 임금을 섬기게 될 것이다.	And this whole land shall be a desolation, and an astonishment; and these nations shall serve the king of Babylon seventy years.
12	그러고서 70년이 다 차면 내가 바빌론 임금과 그 민족을 벌하겠다. ― 여호와의 말씀입니다. ― 그들의 잘못 때문이다. 칼데아 사람들의 땅도 벌하겠다. 내가 그 땅을 영원한 황무지로 만들겠다.	And it shall come to pass, when seventy years are accomplished, that I will punish the king of Babylon, and that nation, saith the Lord, for their iniquity, and the land of the Chaldeans, and will make it perpetual desolations.
13	그 땅을 두고 내가 말한 모든 것을 그 땅에서 이루어지게 만들겠다. 이 책에 적어 둔 것이다. 예레미야가 모든 민족을 두고 예언한 것이다.	And I will bring upon that land all my words which I have pronounced against it, even all that is written in this book, which Jeremiah hath prophesied against all the nations.
14	바빌론 사람들조차 많은 민족과 큰 임금들이 종처럼 부려 먹게 될 것이다. 내가 바빌론 사람들에게 갚아 주겠다, 그들이 한 짓과 그 손으로 만들어 낸 것에 걸맞게!”	For many nations and great kings shall serve themselves of them also: and I will recompense them according to their deeds, and according to the works of their own hands.
15	노여움의 포도주 잔 (예언자) 여호와 이스라엘의 하나님이 나에게 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. (하나님) “너는 이 노여움의 포도주 잔을 나의 손에서 받아 모든 민족들에게 마시게 해라. 그들에게로 내가 너를 보낸다.	For thus saith the Lord God of Israel unto me; Take the wine cup of this fury at my hand, and cause all the nations, to whom I send thee, to drink it.
16	그러면 그들이 마시고 요란스럽게 토하고 미친 사람처럼 행동할 것이다. 내가 그들 사이로 보낼 칼 앞에서 그럴 것이다.”	And they shall drink, and be moved, and be mad, because of the sword that I will send among them.
17	(예언자) 그래서 내가 그 잔을 여호와의 손에서 받았습니다. 그러고는 여호와께서 나를 보내신 모든 민족에게 마시게 했습니다.	Then took I the cup at the Lord’s hand, and made all the nations to drink, unto whom the Lord had sent me:
18	예루살렘과 유다 도시들에게도, 유다 임금들과 고위 관리들에게도 마시게 했습니다. 그래서 그들이 오늘처럼 쑥대밭과 끔찍한 곳이 되고 비웃음의 대상과 저주의 대상이 되게 했습니다.	To wit, Jerusalem, and the cities of Judah, and the kings thereof, and the princes thereof, to make them a desolation, an astonishment, an hissing, and a curse; as it is this day;
19	이집트 임금 파라오와 그의 신하들과 고위 관리들과 백성 모두에게도 마시게 했습니다.	Pharaoh king of Egypt, and his servants, and his princes, and all his people;
20	모든 외국인 용병에게도 마시게 했습니다. 우스 땅의 모든 임금과 필리스티아 땅의 모든 임금에게도 마시게 했습니다. 아스글론과 가자도 마시게 했습니다. 에그론과 또 아스돗의 남은 사람들에게도 마시게 했습니다.	And all the mingled people, and all the kings of the land of Uz, and all the kings of the land of the Philistines, and Ashkelon, and Azzah, and Ekron, and the remnant of Ashdod,
21	에돔과 모압과 암몬 사람들에게도 마시게 했습니다.	Edom, and Moab, and the children of Ammon,
22	티레의 모든 임금과 시돈의 모든 임금과 바다 건너 쪽 바닷가의 임금들에게도 마시게 했습니다.	And all the kings of Tyrus, and all the kings of Zidon, and the kings of the isles which are beyond the sea,
23	드단과 데마와 부스와 귀밑 머리카락 자른 모든 사람에게도 마시게 했습니다.	Dedan, and Tema, and Buz, and all that are in the utmost corners,
24	아라비아의 모든 임금과 광야에 사는 아랍 부족들의 모든 임금에게도 마시게 했습니다.	And all the kings of Arabia, and all the kings of the mingled people that dwell in the desert,
25	시므리의 모든 임금과 엘람의 모든 임금과 메디아의 모든 임금에게도 마시게 했습니다.	And all the kings of Zimri, and all the kings of Elam, and all the kings of the Medes,
26	북쪽의 모든 임금에게도 가깝든지 멀든지 차례로 마시게 했습니다. 이처럼 땅의 모든 왕국에게 마시게 했습니다. 세삭 임금이 맨 끝으로 마실 것입니다.	And all the kings of the north, far and near, one with another, and all the kingdoms of the world, which are upon the face of the earth: and the king of Sheshach shall drink after them.
27	(하나님) “너는 그들에게 말해 주도록 해라. (예언자) ‘전능하신 여호와 이스라엘의 하나님이 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. (하나님) 「너희는 마시고 취해서 토해라. 쓰러져서 일어나지 마라, 내가 너희 사이로 보내는 칼 앞에서!」’	Therefore thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel; Drink ye, and be drunken, and spue, and fall, and rise no more, because of the sword which I will send among you.
28	그들이 그 잔을 너의 손에서 받아 마시지 아니하려고 하면, 너는 그들에게 말해 주어라. (예언자) ‘전능하신 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. (하나님) 「너희는 반드시 마셔야 한다.	And it shall be, if they refuse to take the cup at thine hand to drink, then shalt thou say unto them, Thus saith the Lord of hosts; Ye shall certainly drink.
29	보라, 사람들이 나의 이름을 붙여 부르는 도시에서 내가 재난을 내리기 시작할 텐데, 너희야말로 벌을 면할 길이 있겠느냐? 벌을 면할 수 없을 것이다. 칼을 내가 땅에 사는 모든 사람 위로 불러들일 것이기 때문이다. ― 전능하신 여호와의 말씀입니다. ―」’”	For, lo, I begin to bring evil on the city which is called by my name, and should ye be utterly unpunished? Ye shall not be unpunished: for I will call for a sword upon all the inhabitants of the earth, saith the Lord of hosts.
30	모든 민족을 심판하실 것이다 (하나님) “네가 직접 그들에게 이 모든 말로 예언해 주어라. 그들에게 말해 주도록 해라. ‘여호와가 높은 데서 사자처럼 으르렁거리고, 자신이 사는 거룩한 장소에서 목소리를 낼 것이다. 자신의 목장에서 사자처럼 크게 으르렁거릴 것이다. 포도 밟는 사람들처럼 기쁨의 노래를 땅에 사는 모든 사람들한테 불러 줄 것이다.	Therefore prophesy thou against them all these words, and say unto them, The Lord shall roar from on high, and utter his voice from his holy habitation; he shall mightily roar upon his habitation; he shall give a shout, as they that tread the grapes, against all the inhabitants of the earth.
31	시끄러운 소리가 땅끝까지 들릴 것이다. 여호와가 민족들 가운데서 다투기 때문이다. 생명체는 무엇이든 심판할 것이기 때문이다. 악인들을 그들의 칼에 넘겨줄 것이다. ― 여호와의 말씀입니다. ―’”	A noise shall come even to the ends of the earth; for the Lord hath a controversy with the nations, he will plead with all flesh; he will give them that are wicked to the sword, saith the Lord.
32	전능하신 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. (하나님) “보라, 재난이 닥쳐서 한 민족에게서 다른 민족에게로 넘어갈 것이다. 엄청난 폭풍이 땅끝에서 일어날 것이다.	Thus saith the Lord of hosts, Behold, evil shall go forth from nation to nation, and a great whirlwind shall be raised up from the coasts of the earth.
33	그래서 그날에 여호와한테 죽임당한 사람들이 땅끝에서 땅끝까지 널브러져 있을 것이다. 사람들이 그들을 두고 슬퍼하지 않을 것이다. 시체를 거두어 장례를 치르지도 못할 것이다. 시체는 땅 위에서 거름처럼 될 것이다.”	And the slain of the Lord shall be at that day from one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth: they shall not be lamented, neither gathered, nor buried; they shall be dung upon the ground.
34	목자들에 대한 말씀 (예언자) 울부짖으세요, 목자 여러분! 부르짖고, 재에 뒹구세요, 양치기 여러분! 여러분의 날수가 찼으니까요. 여러분이 도살당할 것입니다. 여러분이 뿔뿔이 흩어질 것입니다. 여러분은 값진 그릇이 떨어져 버린 것처럼 될 것입니다.	Howl, ye shepherds, and cry; and wallow yourselves in the ashes, ye principal of the flock: for the days of your slaughter and of your dispersions are accomplished; and ye shall fall like a pleasant vessel.
35	목자들에게는 도피처가 없어질 것이고, 양치기들에게는 빠져나갈 길이 사라질 것입니다.	And the shepherds shall have no way to flee, nor the principal of the flock to escape.
36	목자들이 부르짖는 소리, 양치기들이 울부짖는 소리! 여호와께서 그들의 목장을 황폐하게 하실 것이니까요.	A voice of the cry of the shepherds, and an howling of the principal of the flock, shall be heard: for the Lord hath spoiled their pasture.
37	평화롭던 목초지가 망가질 것입니다. 여호와의 뜨거운 분노 때문에요.	And the peaceable habitations are cut down because of the fierce anger of the Lord.
38	자기 굴을 떠나는 젊은 사자처럼 여호와께서 떠나셨습니다. 그들의 땅이 끔찍한 곳이 되었으니까요. 짓누르시는 여호와의 노여움 때문입니다. 여호와의 뜨거운 분노 때문입니다.	He hath forsaken his covert, as the lion: for their land is desolate because of the fierceness of the oppressor, and because of his fierce anger.
