절	새한글성경 (2024)	King James Version
1	여호야김이 다스리던 때에 바빌론 임금 네부카드네자르가 올라왔다. 여호야김은 3년 동안 그의 신하가 되었다가, 돌아서서 그에게 맞서 대들었다.	In his days Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up, and Jehoiakim became his servant three years: then he turned and rebelled against him.
2	여호와는 그에게 칼데아 부대, 시리아 부대, 모압 부대, 암몬 사람들의 부대를 보내셨다. 여호와는 유다를 무너뜨리려고 그들을 유다에 보내신 것이다. 여호와께서 자신의 종들인 예언자들을 통해 하신 말씀대로였다.	And the Lord sent against him bands of the Chaldees, and bands of the Syrians, and bands of the Moabites, and bands of the children of Ammon, and sent them against Judah to destroy it, according to the word of the Lord, which he spake by his servants the prophets.
3	여호와의 말씀을 따라 유다에 이런 일이 생긴 것은 분명히 그들을 그분 앞에서 없애 버리시려는 것이었다. 그것은 므낫세가 저지른 온갖 죄 때문이었다.	Surely at the commandment of the Lord came this upon Judah, to remove them out of his sight, for the sins of Manasseh, according to all that he did;
4	또한 그가 흘린, 죄 없는 사람의 피 때문이었다. 그는 죄 없는 사람의 피로 예루살렘을 가득 채운 것이다. 그래서 여호와는 그냥 넘어갈 마음이 없으셨다.	And also for the innocent blood that he shed: for he filled Jerusalem with innocent blood; which the Lord would not pardon.
5	여호야김이 했던 나머지 일들과 그가 했던 모든 일은 유다 임금들의 역사일지에 적혀 있지 않은가?	Now the rest of the acts of Jehoiakim, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
6	여호야김이 그의 조상들과 함께 누웠고, 그의 아들 여호야긴이 그를 이어 임금이 되었다.	So Jehoiakim slept with his fathers: and Jehoiachin his son reigned in his stead.
7	이집트 임금은 더는 자기 나라에서 나오지 못했다. 바빌론 임금이 이집트 마른시내부터 유프라테스강까지 이집트 임금이 갖고 있던 땅을 다 빼앗았기 때문이다. ()	And the king of Egypt came not again any more out of his land: for the king of Babylon had taken from the river of Egypt unto the river Euphrates all that pertained to the king of Egypt.
8	여호야긴이 유다 임금이 되다 여호야긴이 임금이 되었을 때 18세였다. 3개월 동안 예루살렘에서 다스렸다. 그의 어머니 이름은 느후스다이고 엘나단의 딸로 예루살렘 사람이었다.	Jehoiachin was eighteen years old when he began to reign, and he reigned in Jerusalem three months. And his mother’s name was Nehushta, the daughter of Elnathan of Jerusalem.
9	그는 여호와께서 보시기에 나쁜 짓을 저질렀다. 자기 아버지가 저지른 모든 짓을 그대로 따랐던 것이다.	And he did that which was evil in the sight of the Lord, according to all that his father had done.
10	그때 바빌론 임금 네부카드네자르의 부하들이 예루살렘에 올라와서 도시를 둘러쌌다.	At that time the servants of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up against Jerusalem, and the city was besieged.
11	그러고 나서 바빌론 임금 네부카드네자르가 도시로 왔다. 그의 부하들이 그곳을 둘러싸고 있을 때였다.	And Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came against the city, and his servants did besiege it.
12	유다 임금 여호야긴은 바빌론 임금한테로 나갔다. 그의 어머니와 신하들과 지휘관들과 왕궁 관리들이 그와 함께했다. 바빌론 임금은 그를 사로잡았다. 바빌론 임금 여덟째 해에 있었던 일이다.	And Jehoiachin the king of Judah went out to the king of Babylon, he, and his mother, and his servants, and his princes, and his officers: and the king of Babylon took him in the eighth year of his reign.
13	그는 여호와의 집에 있던 모든 보물과 임금의 집에 있던 보물을 거기서 가져갔다. 또한 이스라엘 임금 솔로몬이 여호와의 성전에 만들어 놓은 금장식품을 모두 잘라 갔다. 여호와께서 말씀하신 대로였다.	And he carried out thence all the treasures of the house of the Lord, and the treasures of the king’s house, and cut in pieces all the vessels of gold which Solomon king of Israel had made in the temple of the Lord, as the Lord had said.
14	그는 예루살렘 사람들과 지휘관들과 용사들을 모두 사로잡아 갔다. 사로잡혀 간 사람은 10,000명이었다. 공예가와 금속 세공인도 모두 사로잡아 갔다. 그 땅의 백성 가운데 보잘것없는 사람들 말고는 아무도 남아 있지 않았다.	And he carried away all Jerusalem, and all the princes, and all the mighty men of valour, even ten thousand captives, and all the craftsmen and smiths: none remained, save the poorest sort of the people of the land.
15	그는 여호야긴을 바빌론으로 사로잡아 갔다. 임금의 어머니, 임금의 아내들, 그의 왕궁 관리들, 그 땅의 높은 사람들을 예루살렘에서 바빌론으로 포로로 사로잡아 갔다.	And he carried away Jehoiachin to Babylon, and the king’s mother, and the king’s wives, and his officers, and the mighty of the land, those carried he into captivity from Jerusalem to Babylon.
16	힘 있는 남자 7,000명, 공예가와 금속 세공인 1,000명을 바빌론 임금이 바빌론으로 사로잡아 데려갔다. 모두 튼튼한 남자로 전쟁에 나갈 만한 사람들이었다.	And all the men of might, even seven thousand, and craftsmen and smiths a thousand, all that were strong and apt for war, even them the king of Babylon brought captive to Babylon.
17	바빌론 임금은 여호야긴의 삼촌 맛다냐를 그를 이어 임금으로 앉혔다. 그런 다음 그의 이름을 시드기야로 바꾸었다. (; 상)	And the king of Babylon made Mattaniah his father’s brother king in his stead, and changed his name to Zedekiah.
18	시드기야가 유다 임금이 되다 시드기야가 임금이 되었을 때 21세였다. 11년 동안 예루살렘에서 다스렸다. 그의 어머니 이름은 하무달이고 예레미야의 딸로 립나 사람이었다.	Zedekiah was twenty and one years old when he began to reign, and he reigned eleven years in Jerusalem. And his mother’s name was Hamutal, the daughter of Jeremiah of Libnah.
19	시드기야는 여호와께서 보시기에 나쁜 짓을 저질렀다. 여호야김이 저지른 모든 짓을 그대로 따랐던 것이다.	And he did that which was evil in the sight of the Lord, according to all that Jehoiakim had done.
20	여호와께서 노여워하신 까닭에 예루살렘에 또 유다에 일이 일어났다. 여호와께서 그들을 자신의 앞에서부터 내쫓아 버리기까지 하셨던 것이다. 시드기야가 바빌론 임금에게 맞서 대들었다.	For through the anger of the Lord it came to pass in Jerusalem and Judah, until he had cast them out from his presence, that Zedekiah rebelled against the king of Babylon.
