절	새한글성경 (2024)	King James Version
1	요담이 다스리다 요담이 임금이 되었을 때 25세였다. 16년 동안 예루살렘에서 다스렸다. 그의 어머니 이름은 여루사이고 사독의 딸이었다.	Jotham was twenty and five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name also was Jerushah, the daughter of Zadok.
2	요담은 여호와께서 보시기에 올곧은 일을 했다. 그의 아버지 웃시야가 했던 대로 다 한 것이다. 다만 여호와의 성전에는 들어가지 않았다. 여전히 백성은 썩어 있었다.	And he did that which was right in the sight of the Lord, according to all that his father Uzziah did: howbeit he entered not into the temple of the Lord. And the people did yet corruptly.
3	그는 여호와의 집 위쪽 문을 세우고 오벨 언덕의 성벽도 많이 세웠다.	He built the high gate of the house of the Lord, and on the wall of Ophel he built much.
4	유다 산지에 여러 도시를 세우고 숲에는 성채와 망대를 세웠다.	Moreover he built cities in the mountains of Judah, and in the forests he built castles and towers.
5	그는 암몬 사람들의 왕과 싸웠고 그들을 힘으로 내리눌렀다. 그러자 암몬 사람들이 그해에 3.4톤의 은과 2,200킬로리터의 밀과 2,200킬로리터의 보리를 그에게 바쳤다. 둘째 해에도, 셋째 해에도 암몬 사람들은 그에게 똑같이 가져왔다.	He fought also with the king of the Ammonites, and prevailed against them. And the children of Ammon gave him the same year an hundred talents of silver, and ten thousand measures of wheat, and ten thousand of barley. So much did the children of Ammon pay unto him, both the second year, and the third.
6	요담이 힘이 세졌다. 여호와 자기 하나님 앞에서 자신의 길을 바르게 했기 때문이다.	So Jotham became mighty, because he prepared his ways before the Lord his God.
7	요담에 관한 나머지 일들과 그의 모든 싸움과 그의 길은, 보라, 유다와 이스라엘 임금들의 책에 적혀 있다.	Now the rest of the acts of Jotham, and all his wars, and his ways, lo, they are written in the book of the kings of Israel and Judah.
8	그가 임금이 되었을 때 25세였다. 16년 동안 예루살렘에서 다스렸다.	He was five and twenty years old when he began to reign, and reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem.
9	요담이 자기 조상들과 함께 누웠고, 사람들이 그를 다윗의 도시에 묻었다. 그를 이어 그의 아들 아하스가 임금이 되었다.	And Jotham slept with his fathers, and they buried him in the city of David: and Ahaz his son reigned in his stead.
