1	아담부터 아브라함까지 아담, 셋, 에노스,	Adam, Sheth, Enosh,
2	게난, 마할랄렐, 야렛,	Kenan, Mahalaleel, Jered,
3	에녹, 므두셀라흐, 라멕,	Henoch, Methuselah, Lamech,
4	노아, 셈, 함과 야벳은 조상들이다.	Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
5	야벳의 아들은 고멜, 마곡, 메디아, 야완, 두발, 메섹, 디라스이다.	The sons of Japheth; Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.
6	고멜의 아들은 아스그나스, 디밧, 도갈마이다.	And the sons of Gomer; Ashchenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah.
7	야완의 아들은 엘리사, 다르시스, 키프로스, 로도스이다.	And the sons of Javan; Elishah, and Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim.
8	함의 아들은 에티오피아, 이집트, 리비아, 가나안이다.	The sons of Ham; Cush, and Mizraim, Put, and Canaan.
9	에티오피아의 아들은 스바, 하윌라, 삽다, 라아마, 삽드가이다. 라아마의 아들은 세바와 드단이다.	And the sons of Cush; Seba, and Havilah, and Sabta, and Raamah, and Sabtecha. And the sons of Raamah; Sheba, and Dedan.
10	에티오피아는 니므롯을 낳았다. 니므롯은 땅에서 처음으로, 힘으로 다스리는 사람이 되었다.	And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be mighty upon the earth.
11	이집트는 리디아 사람들, 아남 사람들, 르합 사람들, 납두아흐 사람들을 낳았다.	And Mizraim begat Ludim, and Anamim, and Lehabim, and Naphtuhim,
12	남부 이집트 사람들, 가슬루아흐 사람들, 크레타 사람들도 낳았다. 가슬루아흐 사람들, 그 사람들로부터 나온 것이 필리스티아 사람들이다.	And Pathrusim, and Casluhim, (of whom came the Philistines,) and Caphthorim.
13	가나안은 그의 맏아들 시돈과 히타이트를 낳았다.	And Canaan begat Zidon his firstborn, and Heth,
14	여부스 사람, 아모리 사람, 기르가스 사람도 낳았다.	The Jebusite also, and the Amorite, and the Girgashite,
15	히위 사람, 아르기 사람, 신 사람도 낳았다.	And the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite,
16	아르왓 사람, 스말 사람, 하맛 사람도 낳았다.	And the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite.
17	셈의 아들은 엘람, 아시리아, 아르박삿, 리디아, 아람, 우스, 훌, 게델, 메섹이다.	The sons of Shem; Elam, and Asshur, and Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram, and Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Meshech.
18	아르박삿은 셀라흐를 낳았다. 셀라흐는 에벨을 낳았다.	And Arphaxad begat Shelah, and Shelah begat Eber.
19	에벨에게는 두 아들이 태어났다. 그 하나의 이름은 벨렉이다. 그때에 땅이 쪼개졌기 때문이었다. 또 그의 형제의 이름은 욕단이다.	And unto Eber were born two sons: the name of the one was Peleg; because in his days the earth was divided: and his brother’s name was Joktan.
20	욕단은 알모닷, 셀렙, 하살마웻, 예라흐,	And Joktan begat Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah,
21	하도람, 우살, 디글라,	Hadoram also, and Uzal, and Diklah,
22	에발, 아비마엘, 세바,	And Ebal, and Abimael, and Sheba,
23	오피르, 하윌라, 요밥을 낳았다. 이들이 모두 욕단의 아들이다.	And Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab. All these were the sons of Joktan.
24	셈, 아르박삿, 셀라흐,	Shem, Arphaxad, Shelah,
25	에벨, 벨렉, 르우,	Eber, Peleg, Reu,
26	스룩, 나홀, 데라흐,	Serug, Nahor, Terah,
27	아브람은 조상들이다. 아브람은 아브라함이다. ()	Abram; the same is Abraham.
28	이스마엘의 자손 아브라함의 아들은 이삭과 이스마엘이다.	The sons of Abraham; Isaac, and Ishmael.
29	그들의 후손은 이러하다. 이스마엘의 맏아들은 느바욧이다. 그리고 게달, 앗브엘, 밉삼,	These are their generations: The firstborn of Ishmael, Nebaioth; then Kedar, and Adbeel, and Mibsam,
30	미스마, 두마, 맛사, 하닷, 데마,	Mishma, and Dumah, Massa, Hadad, and Tema,
31	여둘, 나비스, 게드마가 태어났다. 이들이 모두 이스마엘의 아들이다.	Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah. These are the sons of Ishmael.
32	아브라함의 다른 아내 그두라가 낳은 아들은 시므란, 욕산, 므단, 미디안, 이스박, 수아흐이다. 욕산의 아들은 세바와 드단이다.	Now the sons of Keturah, Abraham’s concubine: she bare Zimran, and Jokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shuah. And the sons of Jokshan; Sheba, and Dedan.
33	미디안의 아들은 에바, 에벨, 하녹, 아비다, 엘다아이다. 이들이 모두 그두라의 자손이다. ()	And the sons of Midian; Ephah, and Epher, and Henoch, and Abida, and Eldaah. All these are the sons of Keturah.
34	에서의 자손 아브라함은 이삭을 낳았다. 이삭의 아들은 에서와 이스라엘이다.	And Abraham begat Isaac. The sons of Isaac; Esau and Israel.
35	에서의 아들은 엘리바스, 르우엘, 여우스, 얄람, 고라흐이다.	The sons of Esau; Eliphaz, Reuel, and Jeush, and Jaalam, and Korah.
36	엘리바스의 아들은 데만, 오말, 스비, 가담, 그나스, 딤나, 아말렉이다.	The sons of Eliphaz; Teman, and Omar, Zephi, and Gatam, Kenaz, and Timna, and Amalek.
37	르우엘의 아들은 나핫, 세라흐, 삼마, 밋사이다. ()	The sons of Reuel; Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah.
38	세일의 자손 세일의 자손은 로단, 소발, 시브온, 아나, 디손, 에셀, 디산이다.	And the sons of Seir; Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah, and Dishon, and Ezer, and Dishan.
39	로단의 아들은 호리와 호맘이다. 로단의 누이는 딤나이다.	And the sons of Lotan; Hori, and Homam: and Timna was Lotan’s sister.
40	소발의 아들은 알랸, 마나핫, 에발, 스비, 오남이다. 시브온의 아들은 아야와 아나이다.	The sons of Shobal; Alian, and Manahath, and Ebal, Shephi, and Onam. And the sons of Zibeon; Aiah, and Anah.
41	아나의 아들은 디손이다. 디손의 아들은 하므란, 에스반, 이드란, 그란이다.	The sons of Anah; Dishon. And the sons of Dishon; Amram, and Eshban, and Ithran, and Cheran.
42	에셀의 아들은 빌한, 사아완, 야아간이다. 디산의 아들은 우스와 아란이다. ()	The sons of Ezer; Bilhan, and Zavan, and Jakan. The sons of Dishan; Uz, and Aran.
43	에돔의 임금들 이스라엘 사람들을 임금이 다스리기 전에 에돔 땅을 다스리던 임금들은 이러하다. 첫째는 브올의 아들 벨라였다. 그의 도시 이름은 딘하바였다.	Now these are the kings that reigned in the land of Edom before any king reigned over the children of Israel; Bela the son of Beor: and the name of his city was Dinhabah.
44	그런데 벨라가 죽었다. 그러자 그를 뒤이어 임금이 된 사람은 세라흐의 아들 요밥이었다. 보스라 출신이었다.	And when Bela was dead, Jobab the son of Zerah of Bozrah reigned in his stead.
45	요밥도 죽었다. 그러자 그를 뒤이어 임금이 된 사람은 후삼이었다. 데만 사람들의 땅 출신이었다.	And when Jobab was dead, Husham of the land of the Temanites reigned in his stead.
46	후삼도 죽었다. 그러자 그를 뒤이어 임금이 된 사람은 브닷의 아들 하닷이었다. 미디안을 모압 들판에서 쳐부순 사람이었다. 그의 도시 이름은 아윗이었다.	And when Husham was dead, Hadad the son of Bedad, which smote Midian in the field of Moab, reigned in his stead: and the name of his city was Avith.
47	하닷도 죽었다. 그러자 그를 뒤이어 임금이 된 사람은 사믈라였다. 마스레가 출신이었다.	And when Hadad was dead, Samlah of Masrekah reigned in his stead.
48	사믈라도 죽었다. 그러자 그를 뒤이어 임금이 된 사람은 사울이었다. 유프라테스강 가의 르호봇 출신이었다.	And when Samlah was dead, Shaul of Rehoboth by the river reigned in his stead.
49	사울도 죽었다. 그러자 그를 뒤이어 임금이 된 사람은 악볼의 아들 바알하난이었다.	And when Shaul was dead, Baal–hanan the son of Achbor reigned in his stead.
50	바알하난도 죽었다. 그러자 그를 뒤이어 임금이 된 사람은 하닷이었다. 그의 도시 이름은 파이였다. 그의 아내 이름은 므헤다브엘이다. 그는 마드렛의 딸이자 메사합의 외손녀였다.	And when Baal–hanan was dead, Hadad reigned in his stead: and the name of his city was Pai; and his wife’s name was Mehetabel, the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Mezahab.
51	하닷도 죽었다. 에돔의 족장들은 이러했다. 족장 딤나, 족장 알와, 족장 여뎃,	Hadad died also. And the dukes of Edom were; duke Timnah, duke Aliah, duke Jetheth,
52	족장 오홀리바마, 족장 엘라, 족장 비논,	Duke Aholibamah, duke Elah, duke Pinon,
53	족장 그나스, 족장 데만, 족장 밉살,	Duke Kenaz, duke Teman, duke Mibzar,
54	족장 막디엘, 족장 이람이 있었다. 이들이 에돔의 족장들이었다.	Duke Magdiel, duke Iram. These are the dukes of Edom.
