1	레위 사람들에게 살 도시를 주다 레위 집안 어른들이 엘르아살 제사장과 눈의 아들 여호수아와 이스라엘 사람들의 지파 아버지 쪽 어른들을 찾아갔다.	Then came near the heads of the fathers of the Levites unto Eleazar the priest, and unto Joshua the son of Nun, and unto the heads of the fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel;
2	그러고는 가나안 땅 실로에서 그들에게 말했다. “여호와께서 모세를 시켜 명령하셨습니다. 우리에게 살 도시와 집짐승 먹일 목초지를 주라고요.”	And they spake unto them at Shiloh in the land of Canaan, saying, The Lord commanded by the hand of Moses to give us cities to dwell in, with the suburbs thereof for our cattle.
3	이스라엘 사람들이 여호와의 명령을 받들어, 자기들이 나누어 받은 땅 가운데서 이 여러 도시를 레위 사람들에게 주었다. 각 도시에 딸린 목초지도 주었다.	And the children of Israel gave unto the Levites out of their inheritance, at the commandment of the Lord, these cities and their suburbs.
4	그핫의 여러 가문을 위해 뽑은 제비가 나왔다. 제사장 아론의 자손인 레위 사람들에게는, 유다 지파와 시므온 지파와 베냐민 지파한테서 제비 뽑은 도시 열세 군데가 돌아갔다.	And the lot came out for the families of the Kohathites: and the children of Aaron the priest, which were of the Levites, had by lot out of the tribe of Judah, and out of the tribe of Simeon, and out of the tribe of Benjamin, thirteen cities.
5	나머지 그핫 사람들에게는 가문에 따라, 에브라임 지파와 단 지파와 므낫세 지파 절반한테서 제비 뽑은 도시 열 군데가 돌아갔다.	And the rest of the children of Kohath had by lot out of the families of the tribe of Ephraim, and out of the tribe of Dan, and out of the half tribe of Manasseh, ten cities.
6	게르손 사람들에게는 가문에 따라, 잇사갈 지파와 아셀 지파와 납달리 지파와 바산에 있는 므낫세 지파 절반한테서 제비 뽑은 도시 열세 군데가 돌아갔다.	And the children of Gershon had by lot out of the families of the tribe of Issachar, and out of the tribe of Asher, and out of the tribe of Naphtali, and out of the half tribe of Manasseh in Bashan, thirteen cities.
7	므라리 사람들에게는 가문에 따라, 르우벤 지파와 갓 지파와 스불론 지파한테서 제비 뽑은 도시 열두 군데가 돌아갔다.	The children of Merari by their families had out of the tribe of Reuben, and out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zebulun, twelve cities.
8	이스라엘 사람들이 레위 사람들에게 이 여러 도시와 각 도시에 딸린 목초지를 주었다. 제비 뽑아 그렇게 하라고 여호와께서 모세를 시켜 명령하신 대로였다.	And the children of Israel gave by lot unto the Levites these cities with their suburbs, as the Lord commanded by the hand of Moses.
9	유다 지파 사람들과 시므온 지파 사람들한테서 뽑아서 준 도시들의 이름이 불렸다.	And they gave out of the tribe of the children of Judah, and out of the tribe of the children of Simeon, these cities which are here mentioned by name,
10	레위의 아들 그핫의 가문들 가운데서 아론 자손에게 돌아간 도시들은 아래와 같다. 그들이 맨 먼저 제비 뽑아 몫을 받았던 것이다.	Which the children of Aaron, being of the families of the Kohathites, who were of the children of Levi, had: for theirs was the first lot.
11	그들에게 아낙의 아버지 아르바의 도시였던 기랴다르바 곧 유다 산지의 헤브론과 그 둘레에 딸린 목초지를 주었다.	And they gave them the city of Arba the father of Anak, which city is Hebron, in the hill country of Judah, with the suburbs thereof round about it.
12	그러나 그 도시의 들판과 그 도시 둘레의 시골 마을들은 여분네의 아들 갈렙에게 주어 자기 것으로 삼게 했다.	But the fields of the city, and the villages thereof, gave they to Caleb the son of Jephunneh for his possession.
13	제사장 아론의 자손에게 준 도시는 살인한 사람의 피신도시(도피성)인 헤브론과 그에 딸린 목초지였다. 또 립나와 그에 딸린 목초지도 주었다.	Thus they gave to the children of Aaron the priest Hebron with her suburbs, to be a city of refuge for the slayer; and Libnah with her suburbs,
14	얏딜과 그에 딸린 목초지, 에스드모아와 그에 딸린 목초지도 주었다.	And Jattir with her suburbs, and Eshtemoa with her suburbs,
15	홀론과 그에 딸린 목초지, 드빌과 그에 딸린 목초지도 주었다.	And Holon with her suburbs, and Debir with her suburbs,
16	아인과 그에 딸린 목초지, 윳다와 그에 딸린 목초지, 벳세메스와 그에 딸린 목초지도 주었다. 도시 아홉 군데를 유다와 시므온, 두 지파한테서 받아서 주었다.	And Ain with her suburbs, and Juttah with her suburbs, and Beth–shemesh with her suburbs; nine cities out of those two tribes.
17	베냐민 지파한테서는 기브온과 그에 딸린 목초지, 게바와 그에 딸린 목초지를 받아서 주었다.	And out of the tribe of Benjamin, Gibeon with her suburbs, Geba with her suburbs,
18	아나돗과 그에 딸린 목초지, 알몬과 그에 딸린 목초지도 주었다. 도시 네 군데를 주었다.	Anathoth with her suburbs, and Almon with her suburbs; four cities.
19	아론의 자손 제사장들이 받은 도시는 모두 열세 군데였고, 도시마다 딸린 목초지가 있었다.	All the cities of the children of Aaron, the priests, were thirteen cities with their suburbs.
20	레위 사람들인 그핫 사람들의 몇몇 가문 곧 나머지 그핫 사람들에게는, 에브라임 지파한테서 그들이 제비 뽑은 여러 도시를 주었다.	And the families of the children of Kohath, the Levites which remained of the children of Kohath, even they had the cities of their lot out of the tribe of Ephraim.
21	그들에게는 또, 살인한 사람의 피신도시(도피성)인 에브라임 산지의 세겜과 그에 딸린 목초지를 주었다. 또 게셀과 그에 딸린 목초지도 주었다.	For they gave them Shechem with her suburbs in mount Ephraim, to be a city of refuge for the slayer; and Gezer with her suburbs,
22	깁사임과 그에 딸린 목초지, 벳호론과 그에 딸린 목초지도 주었다. 도시 네 군데를 주었다.	And Kibzaim with her suburbs, and Beth–horon with her suburbs; four cities.
23	단 지파한테서는 엘드게와 그에 딸린 목초지, 깁브돈과 그에 딸린 목초지를 받아서 주었다.	And out of the tribe of Dan, Eltekeh with her suburbs, Gibbethon with her suburbs,
24	아얄론과 그에 딸린 목초지, 가드림몬과 그에 딸린 목초지도 주었다. 도시 네 군데를 주었다.	Aijalon with her suburbs, Gath–rimmon with her suburbs; four cities.
25	므낫세 지파 절반한테서는 다아낙과 그에 딸린 목초지, 가드림몬과 그에 딸린 목초지를 받아서 주었다. 도시 두 군데를 주었다.	And out of the half tribe of Manasseh, Tanach with her suburbs, and Gath–rimmon with her suburbs; two cities.
26	나머지 그핫 사람들의 여러 가문에게 준 도시가 모두 열 군데였고, 도시마다 딸린 목초지가 있었다.	All the cities were ten with their suburbs for the families of the children of Kohath that remained.
27	레위 사람들의 가문인 게르손 사람들에게, 므낫세 지파 절반한테서 받아서 준 도시는 이러했다. 살인한 사람의 피신도시(도피성)인 바산의 골란과 그에 딸린 목초지였다. 또 브에스드라와 그에 딸린 목초지였다. 도시 두 군데를 주었다.	And unto the children of Gershon, of the families of the Levites, out of the other half tribe of Manasseh they gave Golan in Bashan with her suburbs, to be a city of refuge for the slayer; and Beesh–terah with her suburbs; two cities.
28	잇사갈 지파한테서는 기숀과 그에 딸린 목초지, 다브랏과 그에 딸린 목초지를 받아서 주었다.	And out of the tribe of Issachar, Kishon with her suburbs, Dabareh with her suburbs,
29	야르뭇과 그에 딸린 목초지, 엔간님과 그에 딸린 목초지도 주었다. 도시 네 군데를 주었다.	Jarmuth with her suburbs, En–gannim with her suburbs; four cities.
30	아셀 지파한테서는 미살과 그에 딸린 목초지, 압돈과 그에 딸린 목초지를 받아서 주었다.	And out of the tribe of Asher, Mishal with her suburbs, Abdon with her suburbs,
31	헬갓과 그에 딸린 목초지, 르홉과 그에 딸린 목초지도 주었다. 도시 네 군데를 주었다.	Helkath with her suburbs, and Rehob with her suburbs; four cities.
32	납달리 지파한테서는 살인한 사람의 피신도시(도피성)인 갈릴리의 게데스와 그에 딸린 목초지를 받아서 주었다. 또 함못돌과 그에 딸린 목초지, 가르단과 그에 딸린 목초지도 주었다. 이렇게 준 도시가 세 군데였다.	And out of the tribe of Naphtali, Kedesh in Galilee with her suburbs, to be a city of refuge for the slayer; and Hammoth–dor with her suburbs, and Kartan with her suburbs; three cities.
33	게르손 사람들이 가문에 따라 받은 도시는 모두 열세 군데였고, 도시마다 딸린 목초지가 있었다.	All the cities of the Gershonites according to their families were thirteen cities with their suburbs.
34	나머지 레위 사람들인 므라리 사람들의 여러 가문에는, 스불론 지파한테서 욕느암과 그에 딸린 목초지를 받아서 주었다. 가르다와 그에 딸린 목초지도 주었다.	And unto the families of the children of Merari, the rest of the Levites, out of the tribe of Zebulun, Jokneam with her suburbs, and Kartah with her suburbs,
35	딤나와 그에 딸린 목초지, 나할랄과 그에 딸린 목초지도 주었다. 도시 네 군데를 주었다.	Dimnah with her suburbs, Nahalal with her suburbs; four cities.
36	르우벤 지파한테서는 살인한 사람의 피신도시(도피성)인 베셀과 그에 딸린 목초지, 야하스와 그에 딸린 목초지를 주었다.	And out of the tribe of Reuben, Bezer with her suburbs, and Jahazah with her suburbs,
37	그데못과 그에 딸린 목초지, 메바앗과 그에 딸린 목초지도 주었다. 도시 네 군데를 주었다.	Kedemoth with her suburbs, and Mephaath with her suburbs; four cities.
38	갓 지파한테서는 살인한 사람의 피신도시(도피성)인 길르앗에 있는 라못과 그에 딸린 목초지를 주었다. 또 마하나임과 그에 딸린 목초지도 주었다.	And out of the tribe of Gad, Ramoth in Gilead with her suburbs, to be a city of refuge for the slayer; and Mahanaim with her suburbs,
39	헤스본과 그에 딸린 목초지, 야셀과 그에 딸린 목초지도 주었다. 도시 네 군데를 주었다.	Heshbon with her suburbs, Jazer with her suburbs; four cities in all.
40	이 도시들은 모두 레위 사람들의 나머지 가문인 므라리 사람들이 가문에 따라 받은 것인데, 제비 뽑아 받은 도시가 열두 군데였다.	So all the cities for the children of Merari by their families, which were remaining of the families of the Levites, were by their lot twelve cities.
41	이스라엘 사람들이 자기 것으로 삼은 땅 가운데서 레위 사람들이 받은 도시는 모두 마흔여덟 군데였고, 도시마다 딸린 목초지가 있었다.	All the cities of the Levites within the possession of the children of Israel were forty and eight cities with their suburbs.
42	이 도시들은 저마다 둘레에 딸린 목초지가 있었다. 이 모든 도시가 그러했다.	These cities were every one with their suburbs round about them: thus were all these cities.
43	여호와께서 이스라엘을 쉬게 하시다 여호와께서 이스라엘의 조상들에게 주기로 굳게 약속하셨던 땅 전부를 이스라엘에게 주셨다. 그리하여 이스라엘이 그 땅을 차지하고 거기에 살았다.	And the Lord gave unto Israel all the land which he sware to give unto their fathers; and they possessed it, and dwelt therein.
44	여호와께서 그들을 사방 어디로부터든 전쟁 없이 편히 쉬게 해 주셨다. 이스라엘의 조상들에게 굳게 약속하신 그대로였다. 그들의 원수들 가운데서 아무도 그들 앞에서는 버텨 내지 못했다. 여호와께서 그들의 원수들을 그들의 손에 넘겨주셨기 때문이다.	And the Lord gave them rest round about, according to all that he sware unto their fathers: and there stood not a man of all their enemies before them; the Lord delivered all their enemies into their hand.
45	여호와께서 이스라엘 집에 말씀해 주신 좋은 일 가운데서 하나도 빠진 것이 없었다. 모두 이루어졌다.	There failed not ought of any good thing which the Lord had spoken unto the house of Israel; all came to pass.
