1	여호수아가 차지하지 못한 땅 여호수아가 늙어 나이가 많아지자, 여호와께서 여호수아에게 말씀하셨다. “네가 늙어 나이가 많아졌는데, 차지해야 할 땅은 아주 많이 남아 있구나.	Now Joshua was old and stricken in years; and the Lord said unto him, Thou art old and stricken in years, and there remaineth yet very much land to be possessed.
2	남은 땅은 이러하다. 필리스티아 사람들의 모든 지역과 그술 사람들의 모든 지역이다.	This is the land that yet remaineth: all the borders of the Philistines, and all Geshuri,
3	시홀 곧 이집트 맞은편에 있는 곳에서부터, 북쪽으로는 에그론 경계까지다. 가나안 사람들의 것으로 여겨지는 땅이다. 다섯 명의 우두머리가 필리스티아 사람들을 다스리고 있었다. 곧 가자 사람들, 아스돗 사람들, 아스글론 사람들, 가드 사람들, 에그론 사람들, 아와 사람들을 다스리고 있었다.	From Sihor, which is before Egypt, even unto the borders of Ekron northward, which is counted to the Canaanite: five lords of the Philistines; the Gazathites, and the Ashdothites, the Eshkalonites, the Gittites, and the Ekronites; also the Avites:
4	남쪽으로는 가나안 사람들의 온 땅과 므아라 곧 시돈 사람들의 땅에서부터, 아벡 곧 아모리 사람들의 경계까지 남아 있다.	From the south, all the land of the Canaanites, and Mearah that is beside the Sidonians, unto Aphek, to the borders of the Amorites:
5	그발 사람들의 땅과, 해 돋는 쪽의 레바논 전역 곧 헤르몬산 아래 바알갓에서 하맛 길목까지도 남아 있다.	And the land of the Giblites, and all Lebanon, toward the sunrising, from Baal–gad under mount Hermon unto the entering into Hamath.
6	레바논에서 미스르봇마임까지 이르는 산지에 사는 모든 사람 곧 모든 시돈 사람은 내가 직접 이스라엘 사람들 앞에서 몰아내 주겠다. 다만 너는, 내가 너에게 명령한 대로, 그 땅을 이스라엘이 제비 뽑아 나누어 차지하게 하여라!	All the inhabitants of the hill country from Lebanon unto Misrephoth–maim, and all the Sidonians, them will I drive out from before the children of Israel: only divide thou it by lot unto the Israelites for an inheritance, as I have commanded thee.
7	이제는 이 땅을 아홉 지파와 므낫세 지파의 절반에게 한 몫씩 나누어 주어라!”	Now therefore divide this land for an inheritance unto the nine tribes, and the half tribe of Manasseh,
8	요르단강 동쪽 지파들이 차지한 땅 므낫세 지파 사람들의 다른 절반, 르우벤 사람들, 갓 사람들은 이미 요르단강 동쪽 건너편에서 모세로부터 자기들 몫의 땅을 나누어 받았다. 여호와의 종 모세가 그들에게 나누어 준 대로였다.	With whom the Reubenites and the Gadites have received their inheritance, which Moses gave them, beyond Jordan eastward, even as Moses the servant of the Lord gave them;
9	그 땅은 아로엘 곧 아르논 마른시내 가장자리에 있는 곳에서 시작하여, 그 마른시내 한가운데에 있는 도시와, 메드바 평지 전역 곧 디본까지 이르는 곳이었다.	From Aroer, that is upon the bank of the river Arnon, and the city that is in the midst of the river, and all the plain of Medeba unto Dibon;
10	또 헤스본에서 다스리던 아모리 임금 시혼의 모든 도시인데, 암몬 사람들의 경계까지였다.	And all the cities of Sihon king of the Amorites, which reigned in Heshbon, unto the border of the children of Ammon;
11	길르앗, 그술 사람들과 마아가 사람들의 지역, 헤르몬산 전역, 살가까지 이르는 바산 전역도 그 땅에 들어갔다.	And Gilead, and the border of the Geshurites and Maachathites, and all mount Hermon, and all Bashan unto Salcah;
12	바산 임금 옥의 온 나라가 그러했다. 그는 아스다롯과 에드레이에서 다스렸다. 그는 남아 있던 라바 사람들 가운데 한 사람이었다. 모세가 그들을 쳐부수고 몰아냈던 것이다.	All the kingdom of Og in Bashan, which reigned in Ashtaroth and in Edrei, who remained of the remnant of the giants: for these did Moses smite, and cast them out.
13	그러나 이스라엘 사람들이 그술 사람들과 마아가 사람들은 몰아내지 않았다. 그술과 마아가는 오늘까지 이스라엘 가운데 살고 있다.	Nevertheless the children of Israel expelled not the Geshurites, nor the Maachathites: but the Geshurites and the Maachathites dwell among the Israelites until this day.
14	다만 레위 지파에게는 모세가 그들 몫으로 땅을 나누어 주지 않았다. 이스라엘이 여호와 그들의 하나님께 바치는 불사르는제물(화제물)이야말로 그들의 몫이었다. 모세가 레위 지파를 두고 말한 대로였다.	Only unto the tribe of Levi he gave none inheritance; the sacrifices of the Lord God of Israel made by fire are their inheritance, as he said unto them.
15	르우벤 지파가 나누어 받은 땅 모세가 르우벤 지파 사람들에게 가문을 따라 땅을 나누어 주었다.	And Moses gave unto the tribe of the children of Reuben inheritance according to their families.
16	그들에게 돌아간 지역은 아로엘 곧 아르논 마른시내 가장자리에 있는 곳에서 시작하여, 그 마른시내의 한가운데에 있는 도시와, 메드바 둘레에 있는 평지 전역이었다.	And their coast was from Aroer, that is on the bank of the river Arnon, and the city that is in the midst of the river, and all the plain by Medeba;
17	헤스본과 또 평지에 있는 모든 도시들도 그 지역에 들어갔다. 디본, 바못바알, 벳바알므온이 그런 도시들이었다.	Heshbon, and all her cities that are in the plain; Dibon, and Bamoth–baal, and Beth–baal–meon,
18	야하스, 그데못, 메바앗도 그런 도시들이었다.	And Jahazah, and Kedemoth, and Mephaath,
19	기랴다임, 십마, 골짜기의 산에 있는 세렛사할도 그런 도시들이었다.	And Kirjathaim, and Sibmah, and Zareth–shahar in the mount of the valley,
20	벳브올, 비스가 기슭, 베뎌시못도 그런 도시들이었다.	And Beth–peor, and Ashdoth–pisgah, and Beth–jeshimoth,
21	평지의 모든 도시들과 아모리 임금 시혼이 다스리던 온 나라도 르우벤 사람들의 땅이 되었다. 시혼은 헤스본에서 다스렸다. 모세가 시혼뿐만 아니라 미디안의 높은 사람들을 쳐부수었다. 에위, 레겜, 수르, 후르, 레바가 그 사람들인데, 이들은 시혼을 섬기던 족장들로 그 땅에 살고 있었다.	And all the cities of the plain, and all the kingdom of Sihon king of the Amorites, which reigned in Heshbon, whom Moses smote with the princes of Midian, Evi, and Rekem, and Zur, and Hur, and Reba, which were dukes of Sihon, dwelling in the country.
22	브올의 아들인 점쟁이 발람을 이스라엘 사람들이 그들과 마찬가지로 칼로 죽여 쓰러뜨렸다.	Balaam also the son of Beor, the soothsayer, did the children of Israel slay with the sword among them that were slain by them.
23	르우벤 사람들의 경계는 요르단강이었다. 르우벤 사람들이 가문을 따라 나누어 받은 여러 도시와 각 도시 둘레의 시골 마을들이 이러했다.	And the border of the children of Reuben was Jordan, and the border thereof. This was the inheritance of the children of Reuben after their families, the cities and the villages thereof.
24	갓 지파가 나누어 받은 땅 모세가 갓 지파 사람들에게도 가문을 따라 땅을 나누어 주었다.	And Moses gave inheritance unto the tribe of Gad, even unto the children of Gad according to their families.
25	그들에게 돌아간 지역은 야셀과 길르앗 모든 도시와 랍바 맞은편 아로엘까지 이르는 암몬 사람들의 땅 절반이었다.	And their coast was Jazer, and all the cities of Gilead, and half the land of the children of Ammon, unto Aroer that is before Rabbah;
26	헤스본에서 시작하여 라맛미스베와 브도님까지 이르고, 마하나임에서 시작하여 드빌 경계까지 이르렀다.	And from Heshbon unto Ramath–mizpeh, and Betonim; and from Mahanaim unto the border of Debir;
27	그 지역은 벳하람 골짜기와 벳니므라와 숙곳과 사본에 있었다. 헤스본 임금 시혼이 다스리던 나라의 나머지 지역이었다. 요르단강이 경계가 되어, 요르단강 동쪽 건너편의 긴네렛 바다 끝까지 이르렀다.	And in the valley, Beth–aram, and Beth–nimrah, and Succoth, and Zaphon, the rest of the kingdom of Sihon king of Heshbon, Jordan and his border, even unto the edge of the sea of Chinnereth on the other side Jordan eastward.
28	갓 사람들이 가문을 따라 나누어 받은 여러 도시와 각 도시 둘레의 시골 마을들이 이러했다.	This is the inheritance of the children of Gad after their families, the cities, and their villages.
29	므낫세 지파의 절반이 나누어 받은 땅 모세가 므낫세 지파의 절반에게 땅을 나누어 주었다. 그리하여 므낫세 지파 절반도 가문을 따라 땅을 차지했다.	And Moses gave inheritance unto the half tribe of Manasseh: and this was the possession of the half tribe of the children of Manasseh by their families.
30	그들에게 돌아간 지역은 마하나임에서 시작하여 바산 전체 지역이었다. 곧 바산 임금 옥이 다스리던 모든 나라와 바산에 있는 야일의 모든 천막 마을이었는데, 그 수가 60개나 되었다.	And their coast was from Mahanaim, all Bashan, all the kingdom of Og king of Bashan, and all the towns of Jair, which are in Bashan, threescore cities:
31	길르앗의 절반, 바산 임금 옥의 나라에 있던 도시인 아스다롯, 에드레이는 므낫세의 아들 마길 사람들에게 돌아갔다. 마길 사람들의 절반에게 가문에 따라 돌아갔다.	And half Gilead, and Ashtaroth, and Edrei, cities of the kingdom of Og in Bashan, were pertaining unto the children of Machir the son of Manasseh, even to the one half of the children of Machir by their families.
32	모세가 여리고 동쪽, 요르단강 건너편 모압 벌판에서 나누어 준 땅은 이러했다.	These are the countries which Moses did distribute for inheritance in the plains of Moab, on the other side Jordan, by Jericho, eastward.
33	레위 지파에게는 모세가 땅을 나누어 주지 않았다. 모세가 레위 사람들을 두고 말했듯이, 여호와 이스라엘의 하나님이야말로 레위 사람들이 나누어 받은 땅이었다.	But unto the tribe of Levi Moses gave not any inheritance: the Lord God of Israel was their inheritance, as he said unto them.
