1	이스라엘이 쳐부순 요르단강 동쪽 임금들 이스라엘 사람들이 요르단강 건너편 해 돋는 쪽에서 쳐부순 그 땅의 임금들은 이러하다. 그들의 땅을 이스라엘 사람들이 차지했다. 그 땅은 아르논 마른시내에서 헤르몬산까지 이르고, 동쪽의 아라바 전역이었다.	Now these are the kings of the land, which the children of Israel smote, and possessed their land on the other side Jordan toward the rising of the sun, from the river Arnon unto mount Hermon, and all the plain on the east:
2	아모리 사람들의 임금 시혼은 헤스본에 살고 있었다. 그는 아르논 마른시냇가에 있는 아로엘과 마른시내 한가운데서부터 길르앗 절반을 다스리고 있었다. 얍복 마른시내 곧 암몬 사람들과 경계를 이루는 곳까지였다.	Sihon king of the Amorites, who dwelt in Heshbon, and ruled from Aroer, which is upon the bank of the river Arnon, and from the middle of the river, and from half Gilead, even unto the river Jabbok, which is the border of the children of Ammon;
3	동쪽으로는 아라바 땅 곧 긴네렛 바다까지 이르는 곳과 아라바 바다 곧 소금바다(사해)까지 이르는 베뎌시못 길을, 남쪽으로는 비스가 기슭 아래를 다스리고 있었다.	And from the plain to the sea of Chinneroth on the east, and unto the sea of the plain, even the salt sea on the east, the way to Beth–jeshimoth; and from the south, under Ashdoth–pisgah:
4	바산 임금 옥은 남아 있는 라바 사람들 가운데 하나로 아스다롯과 에드레이에 살고 있었다.	And the coast of Og king of Bashan, which was of the remnant of the giants, that dwelt at Ashtaroth and at Edrei,
5	그가 다스리고 있던 지역은 헤르몬산, 살가, 온 바산으로 그술 사람들과 마아가 사람들의 경계에까지 이르렀다. 그리고 길르앗 지역 절반으로 헤스본 임금 시혼의 땅과 경계를 이루었다.	And reigned in mount Hermon, and in Salcah, and in all Bashan, unto the border of the Geshurites and the Maachathites, and half Gilead, the border of Sihon king of Heshbon.
6	여호와의 종 모세와 이스라엘 사람들이 그들을 쳐 죽였다. 여호와의 종 모세가 그 땅을 르우벤 사람들, 갓 사람들, 므낫세 지파 절반에게 주어서 차지하게 했다.	Them did Moses the servant of the Lord and the children of Israel smite: and Moses the servant of the Lord gave it for a possession unto the Reubenites, and the Gadites, and the half tribe of Manasseh.
7	이스라엘이 쳐부순 요르단강 서쪽 임금들 여호수아가 이스라엘 사람들을 거느리고 나가서 요르단강 서쪽 건너편에서 쳐부순 임금들은 이러하다. 그들은 바알갓 곧 레바논 골짜기에 있는 곳에서 시작하여 할락산 곧 세일로 올라가는 곳까지 이르는 지역에 있었다. 여호수아가 그 땅을 이스라엘의 지파들에게 저마다의 몫에 따라 나누어 주어 차지하게 했다.	And these are the kings of the country which Joshua and the children of Israel smote on this side Jordan on the west, from Baal–gad in the valley of Lebanon even unto the mount Halak, that goeth up to Seir; which Joshua gave unto the tribes of Israel for a possession according to their divisions;
8	그 땅은 산지, 세펠라, 아라바, 산허리, 광야, 네게브였다. 히타이트 사람들, 아모리 사람들, 가나안 사람들, 브리스 사람들, 히위 사람들, 여부스 사람들의 땅이었다.	In the mountains, and in the valleys, and in the plains, and in the springs, and in the wilderness, and in the south country; the Hittites, the Amorites, and the Canaanites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites:
9	여리고 임금 한 명, 아이 곧 베델 곁에 있는 곳의 임금 한 명,	The king of Jericho, one; the king of Ai, which is beside Beth–el, one;
10	예루살렘 임금 한 명, 헤브론 임금 한 명,	The king of Jerusalem, one; the king of Hebron, one;
11	야르뭇 임금 한 명, 라기스 임금 한 명,	The king of Jarmuth, one; the king of Lachish, one;
12	에글론 임금 한 명, 게셀 임금 한 명,	The king of Eglon, one; the king of Gezer, one;
13	드빌 임금 한 명, 게델 임금 한 명,	The king of Debir, one; the king of Geder, one;
14	호르마 임금 한 명, 아랏 임금 한 명,	The king of Hormah, one; the king of Arad, one;
15	립나 임금 한 명, 아둘람 임금 한 명,	The king of Libnah, one; the king of Adullam, one;
16	막게다 임금 한 명, 베델 임금 한 명,	The king of Makkedah, one; the king of Beth–el, one;
17	답부아흐 임금 한 명, 헤벨 임금 한 명,	The king of Tappuah, one; the king of Hepher, one;
18	아벡 임금 한 명, 샤론 임금 한 명,	The king of Aphek, one; the king of Lasharon, one;
19	마돈 임금 한 명, 하솔 임금 한 명,	The king of Madon, one; the king of Hazor, one;
20	시므론므론 임금 한 명, 악삽 임금 한 명,	The king of Shimron–meron, one; the king of Achshaph, one;
21	다아낙 임금 한 명, 므깃도 임금 한 명,	The king of Taanach, one; the king of Megiddo, one;
22	게데스 임금 한 명, 갈멜의 욕느암 임금 한 명,	The king of Kedesh, one; the king of Jokneam of Carmel, one;
23	도르 높은 지대의 임금 한 명, 길갈의 고임 임금 한 명,	The king of Dor in the coast of Dor, one; the king of the nations of Gilgal, one;
24	디르사 임금 한 명으로, 임금이 모두 31명이었다.	The king of Tirzah, one: all the kings thirty and one.
