절	새한글성경 (2024)	King James Version
1	죽은 사람을 생각할 때 이렇게 하지 마십시오 “그대들은 여호와 그대들의 하나님의 아들딸입니다. 죽은 사람을 생각하여 몸에 칼자국을 내지 말고, 이마 한가운데를 맨머리로 만들지 마십시오.	Ye are the children of the Lord your God: ye shall not cut yourselves, nor make any baldness between your eyes for the dead.
2	그대는 여호와 그대의 하나님의 거룩한 백성이니까요. 그대를 여호와께서 땅 위의 모든 백성 가운데서 뽑아 자신의 백성이 되게 하셨으니까요.” ()	For thou art an holy people unto the Lord thy God, and the Lord hath chosen thee to be a peculiar people unto himself, above all the nations that are upon the earth.
3	이런 것들은 먹지 마십시오 “역겨운 것은 무엇이든지 먹지 마십시오.	Thou shalt not eat any abominable thing.
4	그대들이 먹어도 되는 짐승은 이러합니다. 소와 양과 염소가 그러합니다.	These are the beasts which ye shall eat: the ox, the sheep, and the goat,
5	가젤과 노루와 붉은 숫노루와 들염소와 산염소와 영양과 산양도 그러합니다.	The hart, and the roebuck, and the fallow deer, and the wild goat, and the pygarg, and the wild ox, and the chamois.
6	발굽이 갈라져 둘로 나누어져 있고 되새김질을 하는 짐승이라면 무엇이든 먹어도 됩니다.	And every beast that parteth the hoof, and cleaveth the cleft into two claws, and cheweth the cud among the beasts, that ye shall eat.
7	되새김질하거나 발굽이 갈라져 있는 짐승 가운데서 절대로 먹지 말 것은 이러합니다. 낙타와 토끼와 바위너구리가 그러합니다. 이 짐승들은 되새김질하지만 발굽이 갈라져 있지 않습니다. 이 여러 짐승은 그대들에게 더럽습니다.	Nevertheless these ye shall not eat of them that chew the cud, or of them that divide the cloven hoof; as the camel, and the hare, and the coney: for they chew the cud, but divide not the hoof; therefore they are unclean unto you.
8	멧돼지도 먹지 마십시오. 발굽은 갈라져 있지만 되새김질하지 않으니까요. 멧돼지가 그대들에게는 깨끗하지 않습니다. 그 짐승들의 고기는 먹지 말고, 그것들의 사체에도 닿지 않도록 하십시오.	And the swine, because it divideth the hoof, yet cheweth not the cud, it is unclean unto you: ye shall not eat of their flesh, nor touch their dead carcase.
9	물속에 있는 온갖 것 가운데서 그대들이 먹어도 되는 것은 이러합니다. 지느러미와 비늘이 있는 것이면 무엇이든 먹어도 됩니다.	These ye shall eat of all that are in the waters: all that have fins and scales shall ye eat:
10	지느러미와 비늘이 없으면 무엇이든 먹지 마십시오. 그것은 그대들에게 깨끗하지 않습니다.	And whatsoever hath not fins and scales ye may not eat; it is unclean unto you.
11	깨끗한 새는 무엇이든 그대들이 먹어도 됩니다.	Of all clean birds ye shall eat.
12	새 가운데서 먹지 말아야 할 것은 이러합니다. 독수리와 수염수리와 물수리가 그러합니다.	But these are they of which ye shall not eat: the eagle, and the ossifrage, and the ospray,
13	검은 솔개와 붉은 솔개와 갖가지 사나운 새도 그러합니다.	And the glede, and the kite, and the vulture after his kind,
14	갖가지 까마귀도 그러합니다.	And every raven after his kind,
15	수리부엉이와 올빼미와 갈매기와 갖가지 매도 그러합니다.	And the owl, and the night hawk, and the cuckow, and the hawk after his kind,
16	부엉이와 따오기와 외양간올빼미도 그러합니다.	The little owl, and the great owl, and the swan,
17	갈까마귀와 이집트대머리수리와 물수리도 그러합니다.	And the pelican, and the gier eagle, and the cormorant,
18	황새와 갖가지 왜가리와 오디새와 박쥐도 그러합니다.	And the stork, and the heron after her kind, and the lapwing, and the bat.
19	날벌레는 무엇이든 그대들에게 깨끗하지 않습니다. 먹지 마십시오.	And every creeping thing that flieth is unclean unto you: they shall not be eaten.
20	깨끗한 날짐승은 무엇이든 먹어도 됩니다.	But of all clean fowls ye may eat.
21	사체는 무엇이든 그대들이 먹지 않도록 하십시오. 그대의 성문 안에 있는 나그네에게 주어 그가 먹게 하든지, 다른 나라 사람에게 팔아 버리십시오. 그대는 여호와 그대의 하나님의 거룩한 백성이니까요. 그대는 어린 염소를 그 어미의 젖으로 삶지 않도록 하십시오.”	Ye shall not eat of any thing that dieth of itself: thou shalt give it unto the stranger that is in thy gates, that he may eat it; or thou mayest sell it unto an alien: for thou art an holy people unto the Lord thy God. Thou shalt not seethe a kid in his mother’s milk.
22	밭에서 난 것의 10분의 1을 바치도록 하십시오 “그대가 뿌린 씨앗에서 나온 것은 무엇이든 그 10분의 1은 반드시 바치도록 하십시오. 해마다 밭에서 난 것은요.	Thou shalt truly tithe all the increase of thy seed, that the field bringeth forth year by year.
23	그대는 여호와 그대의 하나님 앞에서 그대의 곡식과 포도주와 기름의 10분의 1과 소와 양의 첫 새끼를 먹도록 하십시오. 여호와께서 자신의 이름을 머물게 하려고 골라 주시는 곳에서요. 그렇게 평생 동안 여호와 그대의 하나님 두려워하기를 배우도록 하십시오.	And thou shalt eat before the Lord thy God, in the place which he shall choose to place his name there, the tithe of thy corn, of thy wine, and of thine oil, and the firstlings of thy herds and of thy flocks; that thou mayest learn to fear the Lord thy God always.
24	그런데 그 길이 그대에게 너무 힘들어서 그대가 바칠 10분의 1을 그리로 가지고 가지 못할 수 있습니다. 여호와 그대의 하나님이 자신의 이름을 두려고 골라 주시는 곳이 그대에게서는 멀리 떨어져 있어서요. 여호와 그대의 하나님이 그대에게 복 주셨는데도요.	And if the way be too long for thee, so that thou art not able to carry it; or if the place be too far from thee, which the Lord thy God shall choose to set his name there, when the Lord thy God hath blessed thee:
25	그때는 돈으로 바꿔 손에 들고 여호와 그대의 하나님이 골라 주시는 곳으로 가도 됩니다.	Then shalt thou turn it into money, and bind up the money in thine hand, and shalt go unto the place which the Lord thy God shall choose:
26	돈을 가지고 가서 그대가 하고 싶은 대로 소나 양이나 포도주나 맥주로 바꾸어도 됩니다. 그대가 하고 싶은 대로 거기, 여호와 그대의 하나님 앞에서 먹어도 됩니다. 또 그대의 집안사람들과 함께 즐거워하도록 하십시오.	And thou shalt bestow that money for whatsoever thy soul lusteth after, for oxen, or for sheep, or for wine, or for strong drink, or for whatsoever thy soul desireth: and thou shalt eat there before the Lord thy God, and thou shalt rejoice, thou, and thine household,
27	그대의 성문 안에 있는 레위 사람을 버려두지 마십시오. 그에게는 그대와 함께 나누어 받은 몫의 땅이 없기 때문입니다.	And the Levite that is within thy gates; thou shalt not forsake him; for he hath no part nor inheritance with thee.
28	3년이 끝날 때마다 그해에 그대의 땅에서 난 것이면 무엇이든 그 10분의 1을 덜어 내놓도록 하십시오. 그것을 그대의 성문 안에 맡겨 두도록 하십시오.	At the end of three years thou shalt bring forth all the tithe of thine increase the same year, and shalt lay it up within thy gates:
29	그러고는 레위 사람이 오게 하십시오. 그에게는 그대와 함께 나누어 받은 몫의 땅이 없으니까요. 그대의 성문 안에 있는 나그네와 부모 없는 아이와 남편 여읜 여자도 오게 하십시오. 그래서 그들이 실컷 먹도록 해 주십시오. 그러면 그대의 손으로 무슨 일을 하든지 여호와 그대의 하나님이 그대에게 복을 주실 것입니다.”	And the Levite, (because he hath no part nor inheritance with thee,) and the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, which are within thy gates, shall come, and shall eat and be satisfied; that the Lord thy God may bless thee in all the work of thine hand which thou doest.
