1	7년마다 빚을 없애 주십시오 “그대는 7년이 끝날 때마다 빚을 없애 주도록 하십시오.	At the end of every seven years thou shalt make a release.
2	빚을 없애 주는 일은 이렇게 하면 됩니다. 빚 준 사람은 그의 이웃에게 준 빚을 없애 주겠다는 뜻을 밝힙니다. 이웃이나 형제에게 다그치지 마십시오. 빚을 없애 주라는 여호와의 뜻이 선포되었으니까요.	And this is the manner of the release: Every creditor that lendeth ought unto his neighbour shall release it; he shall not exact it of his neighbour, or of his brother; because it is called the Lord’s release.
3	다른 나라 사람에게는 다그칠 수 있습니다. 그렇지만 그대의 형제에게는 빚을 없애 주도록 하십시오.	Of a foreigner thou mayest exact it again: but that which is thine with thy brother thine hand shall release;
4	그러나 그대 이스라엘에게는 가난한 사람이 없도록 하십시오. 여호와 그대의 하나님이 그대에게 나누어 주어 차지하게 하신 땅에서 여호와께서 그대에게 반드시 복을 주실 것이니까요.	Save when there shall be no poor among you; for the Lord shall greatly bless thee in the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee for an inheritance to possess it:
5	여호와 그대의 하나님의 목소리를 참으로 잘 듣고서, 내가 오늘 그대에게 알려 주는 이 명령을 다 지키며 실행하기만 한다면요.	Only if thou carefully hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe to do all these commandments which I command thee this day.
6	여호와 그대의 하나님이 그대에게 복을 주실 것이니까요. 그대에게 말씀하신 것처럼요. 많은 민족에게 빌려줄지언정 그대가 빌리지는 않을 것입니다. 많은 민족을 그대가 다스릴지언정 그들이 그대를 다스리지는 못할 것입니다.	For the Lord thy God blesseth thee, as he promised thee: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, but thou shalt not borrow; and thou shalt reign over many nations, but they shall not reign over thee.
7	그대 이스라엘 가운데서 그대의 형제들 중에 누군가는 가난한 사람이 될 수 있습니다. 여호와 그대의 하나님이 그대에게 주신 땅의 성문 안에서요. 그때 그대의 마음을 닫지 마십시오. 그 가난한 형제 앞에서 그대의 손을 움켜쥐지 마십시오.	If there be among you a poor man of one of thy brethren within any of thy gates in thy land which the Lord thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not harden thine heart, nor shut thine hand from thy poor brother:
8	오히려 그에게 그대의 손을 활짝 펴도록 하십시오. 넉넉히 빌려주어 그에게 모자람이 없도록 채워 주십시오.	But thou shalt open thine hand wide unto him, and shalt surely lend him sufficient for his need, in that which he wanteth.
9	그대는 그대의 마음에 몹쓸 생각이 들지 않도록 조심하십시오. ‘빚을 받지 않기로 하는 7년째 되는 해가 다가왔군.’ 하고 말하지 않도록요. 그러면서 가난한 형제를 언짢게 보고는 그에게 아무것도 주지 않는 일이 없도록요. 그러면 그가 그대 때문에 여호와께 부르짖을 것이고, 그것이 그대에게 죄가 될 것입니다.	Beware that there be not a thought in thy wicked heart, saying, The seventh year, the year of release, is at hand; and thine eye be evil against thy poor brother, and thou givest him nought; and he cry unto the Lord against thee, and it be sin unto thee.
10	그에게 꼭 주도록 하십시오. 그대가 그에게 줄 때 언짢아하는 마음을 품지 마십시오. 이 일 때문에 여호와 그대의 하나님이 그대에게 복을 주실 것입니다. 그대가 무슨 일을 하든지, 무슨 일에 손대든지요.	Thou shalt surely give him, and thine heart shall not be grieved when thou givest unto him: because that for this thing the Lord thy God shall bless thee in all thy works, and in all that thou puttest thine hand unto.
11	가난한 사람이 이 땅 가운데서 없어지지는 않을 것입니다. 그러므로 내가 그대에게 명령합니다. ‘그대의 땅에 사는 불쌍하고 가난한 형제에게 꼭 그대의 손을 내밀도록 하십시오.’” ()	For the poor shall never cease out of the land: therefore I command thee, saying, Thou shalt open thine hand wide unto thy brother, to thy poor, and to thy needy, in thy land.
12	7년째 되는 해에는 노예를 내보내십시오 “그대의 형제자매인 히브리 남자나 여자가 그대에게 자기 몸을 팔아넘겨서 6년 동안 노예로 그대를 섬겼다고 합시다. 그러면 7년째 되는 해에는 그를 내보내어 그대에게서 자유로워지게 하십시오.	And if thy brother, an Hebrew man, or an Hebrew woman, be sold unto thee, and serve thee six years; then in the seventh year thou shalt let him go free from thee.
13	그를 내보내어 그대에게서 자유로워지게 할 때 그를 빈털터리로는 내보내지 마십시오.	And when thou sendest him out free from thee, thou shalt not let him go away empty:
14	그대의 양 떼 가운데 얼마와 타작마당과 포도즙 틀에서 나온 것 가운데서 얼마를 꺼내다가, 그에게 넉넉히 장만해 주도록 하십시오. 여호와 그대의 하나님이 그대에게 복을 내려 주신 것을 그에게도 나눠 주도록 하십시오.	Thou shalt furnish him liberally out of thy flock, and out of thy floor, and out of thy winepress: of that wherewith the Lord thy God hath blessed thee thou shalt give unto him.
15	그대는 기억하도록 하십시오. 이집트 땅에서는 그대도 노예였는데, 여호와 그대의 하나님이 그대를 빼내 주셨다는 것을요. 그러므로 오늘 이런 말로 내가 그대에게 명령합니다.	And thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in the land of Egypt, and the Lord thy God redeemed thee: therefore I command thee this thing to day.
16	그가 그대에게 이렇게 말한다고 합시다. ‘저는 주인님 댁에서 나가고 싶지 않습니다.’ 그가 그대와 그대의 집을 사랑하고, 그에게는 그대와 함께 있는 것이 좋아서요.	And it shall be, if he say unto thee, I will not go away from thee; because he loveth thee and thine house, because he is well with thee;
17	그러면 그대는 송곳을 가져다가 그의 귀를 문에 대고 뚫고서는, 그가 그대에게 영영 노예가 되도록 하십시오. 그대의 여자 노예에게도 이처럼 하십시오.	Then thou shalt take an aul, and thrust it through his ear unto the door, and he shall be thy servant for ever. And also unto thy maidservant thou shalt do likewise.
18	노예를 내보내어 그대에게서 자유로워지게 하는 것을 힘들게 생각하지 마세요. 품꾼으로 받은 삯의 두 배로 일해서 그가 6년 동안 노예로 그대를 섬겼으니까요. 또 그대가 무슨 일을 하든지 여호와 그대의 하나님이 그대에게 복 주실 것이니까요.”	It shall not seem hard unto thee, when thou sendest him away free from thee; for he hath been worth a double hired servant to thee, in serving thee six years: and the Lord thy God shall bless thee in all that thou doest.
19	처음 난 짐승 수컷은 이렇게 다루십시오 “처음으로 태어난 수송아지나 새끼 숫양은 모두 여호와 그대의 하나님의 것으로 따로 갈라내 놓도록 하십시오. 처음으로 태어난 수송아지에게는 일을 시키지 말고, 처음으로 태어난 새끼 숫양의 털은 깎지 마십시오.	All the firstling males that come of thy herd and of thy flock thou shalt sanctify unto the Lord thy God: thou shalt do no work with the firstling of thy bullock, nor shear the firstling of thy sheep.
20	여호와 그대의 하나님 앞에서 해마다, 여호와께서 골라 주시는 곳에서 그 짐승을 먹도록 하십시오. 그대의 집안사람들과 함께요.	Thou shalt eat it before the Lord thy God year by year in the place which the Lord shall choose, thou and thy household.
21	그 짐승에게 흠이 있다고 합시다. 절거나 눈이 멀거나 좋지 않은 무슨 흠이 있다고 합시다. 그러면 그런 것은 여호와 그대의 하나님께 제물로 바치지 마십시오.	And if there be any blemish therein, as if it be lame, or blind, or have any ill blemish, thou shalt not sacrifice it unto the Lord thy God.
22	그대의 성문 안에서 그 짐승을 먹도록 하십시오. 깨끗하지 않은 사람이든 깨끗한 사람이든 다 함께요. 가젤이나 사슴을 먹듯이요.	Thou shalt eat it within thy gates: the unclean and the clean person shall eat it alike, as the roebuck, and as the hart.
23	다만 제물의 피는 먹지 마십시오. 피는 물처럼 땅에 쏟도록 하십시오.”	Only thou shalt not eat the blood thereof; thou shalt pour it upon the ground as water.
