절	새한글성경 (2024)	King James Version
1	삼손이 태어나다 이스라엘 사람들이 다시 여호와께서 보시기에 나쁜 짓을 저질렀다. 그래서 여호와께서는 그들을 40년 동안 필리스티아 사람들의 손에 넘겨주셨다.	And the children of Israel did evil again in the sight of the Lord; and the Lord delivered them into the hand of the Philistines forty years.
2	한 사람이 있었다. 단 사람들의 가문 가운데서 소라 출신이었다. 그의 이름은 마노아흐였다. 그의 아내는 아이를 가지지 못해 낳을 수 없었다.	And there was a certain man of Zorah, of the family of the Danites, whose name was Manoah; and his wife was barren, and bare not.
3	여호와의 천사가 그 여자에게 나타나서 말했다. “보세요, 그대는 아이를 가지지 못해서 낳지 못했어요. 그렇지만 곧 아이를 가져 아들을 낳을 겁니다.	And the angel of the Lord appeared unto the woman, and said unto her, Behold now, thou art barren, and bearest not: but thou shalt conceive, and bear a son.
4	그러니 이제 조심하여 포도주든 맥주든 마시지 마세요. 또 깨끗하지 않은 것은 무엇이든 먹지 마세요.	Now therefore beware, I pray thee, and drink not wine nor strong drink, and eat not any unclean thing:
5	보세요, 그대가 반드시 아이를 가져 아들을 낳을 테니까요. 털 깎는 칼을 아이의 머리 위에 대지 말아야 합니다. 그 아이는 뱃속에서부터 하나님께 몸바친사람(나실인)일 테니까요. 필리스티아 사람들의 손에서 이스라엘을 구해 내는 일을 시작할 사람이 그 아이니까요.”	For, lo, thou shalt conceive, and bear a son; and no razor shall come on his head: for the child shall be a Nazarite unto God from the womb: and he shall begin to deliver Israel out of the hand of the Philistines.
6	그 여자가 가서 남편에게 알렸다. “하나님의 사람이 내게 왔어요. 그의 모습은 하나님의 천사의 모습 같았고 무시무시했어요. 어디서 왔는지 물어보지 못했어요. 자신의 이름을 내게 말해 주지도 않았고요.	Then the woman came and told her husband, saying, A man of God came unto me, and his countenance was like the countenance of an angel of God, very terrible: but I asked him not whence he was, neither told he me his name:
7	그러나 내게 이렇게 말해 주었어요. ‘보세요, 그대가 아이를 가져 아들을 낳을 겁니다. 그러니 이제는 포도주든 맥주든 마시지 마세요. 또 깨끗하지 않은 것은 무엇이든 먹지 마세요. 그 아이는 하나님께 몸바친사람(나실인)일 테니까요. 뱃속에서부터 죽는 날까지요.’”	But he said unto me, Behold, thou shalt conceive, and bear a son; and now drink no wine nor strong drink, neither eat any unclean thing: for the child shall be a Nazarite to God from the womb to the day of his death.
8	마노아흐가 여호와께 기도했다. “주제넘은 말씀입니다만, 주님! 주님이 보내신 하나님의 사람이 다시 우리에게 와서, 태어날 아이에게 어떻게 해야 할지 우리를 가르치게 해 주십시오.”	Then Manoah intreated the Lord, and said, O my Lord, let the man of God which thou didst send come again unto us, and teach us what we shall do unto the child that shall be born.
9	하나님이 마노아흐의 목소리를 들으셨다. 그래서 하나님의 천사가 다시 그 여자에게 왔다. 그 여자가 들판에 앉아 있었을 때였다. 남편 마노아흐는 함께 있지 않았다.	And God hearkened to the voice of Manoah; and the angel of God came again unto the woman as she sat in the field: but Manoah her husband was not with her.
10	그 여자는 후닥닥 남편에게 달려가서 알렸다. “보세요, 그 사람이 나타났어요! 그날 나에게 왔던 그 사람이요.”	And the woman made haste, and ran, and shewed her husband, and said unto him, Behold, the man hath appeared unto me, that came unto me the other day.
11	마노아흐가 일어나서 아내를 따라갔다. 그 사람에게 가서 물었다. “이 여자에게 말씀하신 분이 선생님이신가요?” 그 사람이 그렇다고 대답했다.	And Manoah arose, and went after his wife, and came to the man, and said unto him, Art thou the man that spakest unto the woman? And he said, I am.
12	마노아흐가 또 말했다. “이제는 선생님이 해 주신 말씀대로 이루어지기 바랍니다. 이 아이가 따라야 할 바른길과 이 아이가 해야 할 일이 무엇인가요?”	And Manoah said, Now let thy words come to pass. How shall we order the child, and how shall we do unto him?
13	여호와의 천사가 마노아흐에게 대답했다. “내가 하지 말라고 그대의 아내에게 일러 준 것은 무엇이든 그 여자가 하지 않도록 조심해야 합니다.	And the angel of the Lord said unto Manoah, Of all that I said unto the woman let her beware.
14	포도나무에서 나오는 것은 무엇이든 먹지 말고요. 포도주든 맥주든 마시지 말고, 깨끗하지 않은 것은 무엇이든 먹지 말고요. 그대의 아내에게 내가 명령한 것은 무엇이든 지켜야 합니다.”	She may not eat of any thing that cometh of the vine, neither let her drink wine or strong drink, nor eat any unclean thing: all that I commanded her let her observe.
15	마노아흐가 여호와의 천사에게 부탁했다. “조금 더 머물러 주시지요. 우리가 선생님에게 어린 염소 요리를 차려 드리겠습니다.”	And Manoah said unto the angel of the Lord, I pray thee, let us detain thee, until we shall have made ready a kid for thee.
16	여호와의 천사가 마노아흐에게 대답했다. “그대의 말을 따라 내가 조금 더 머물더라도 그대가 차려 주는 음식을 먹지 않을 겁니다. 그대가 다태우는제물(번제물)을 장만한다면, 그 제물은 여호와께 바쳐야 합니다.” 마노아흐는 그가 여호와의 천사인 것을 알지 못했기 때문이다.	And the angel of the Lord said unto Manoah, Though thou detain me, I will not eat of thy bread: and if thou wilt offer a burnt offering, thou must offer it unto the Lord. For Manoah knew not that he was an angel of the Lord.
17	마노아흐가 여호와의 천사에게 물었다. “선생님의 성함은 무엇입니까? 선생님이 해 주신 말씀이 이루어지면, 우리가 선생님을 받들어 모시겠습니다.”	And Manoah said unto the angel of the Lord, What is thy name, that when thy sayings come to pass we may do thee honour?
18	여호와의 천사가 그에게 대답했다. “무슨 까닭으로 나의 이름을 묻는 겁니까? 내 이름은 너무 신비롭지요.”	And the angel of the Lord said unto him, Why askest thou thus after my name, seeing it is secret?
19	마노아흐는 어린 염소를 끌고 와서 곡식제물(소제물)과 함께 바위 위에서 여호와께 바쳤다. 그러자 여호와께서 놀라운 일을 일으키셨다. 그 일을 마노아흐와 그의 아내가 보고 있었다.	So Manoah took a kid with a meat offering, and offered it upon a rock unto the Lord: and the angel did wondrously; and Manoah and his wife looked on.
20	불꽃이 제단 위에서 하늘로 치솟았을 때, 그 제단의 불꽃 가운데 여호와의 천사가 올라갔다. 마노아흐와 그의 아내는 보고 있다가 얼굴을 땅에 대고 엎드렸다.	For it came to pass, when the flame went up toward heaven from off the altar, that the angel of the Lord ascended in the flame of the altar. And Manoah and his wife looked on it, and fell on their faces to the ground.
21	여호와의 천사가 마노아흐와 그의 아내에게 다시는 나타나지 않았다. 그제야 마노아흐는 그가 여호와의 천사인 것을 알아차렸다.	But the angel of the Lord did no more appear to Manoah and to his wife. Then Manoah knew that he was an angel of the Lord.
22	마노아흐가 아내에게 말했다. “우리는 꼼짝없이 죽게 생겼소. 하나님을 만나 뵈었기 때문이오.”	And Manoah said unto his wife, We shall surely die, because we have seen God.
23	아내가 그에게 말했다. “여호와께서 우리를 죽이려 하셨다면, 다태우는제물(번제물)과 곡식제물(소제물)을 우리 손에서 받지 않으셨겠지요. 이 모든 것을 지금 우리에게 보여 주지도 않으셨겠지요. 지금 이런 말씀을 우리에게 들려주지도 않으셨을 것이고요.”	But his wife said unto him, If the Lord were pleased to kill us, he would not have received a burnt offering and a meat offering at our hands, neither would he have shewed us all these things, nor would as at this time have told us such things as these.
24	그 여자가 아들을 낳아서 아이의 이름을 삼손이라고 지어 불렀다. 그 아이가 자라났고, 여호와께서는 그에게 복을 내리셨다.	And the woman bare a son, and called his name Samson: and the child grew, and the Lord blessed him.
25	여호와의 영이 삼손을 몰아대기 시작하셨다. 소라와 에스다올 사이에 있는 마하네단에서였다.	And the Spirit of the Lord began to move him at times in the camp of Dan between Zorah and Eshtaol.
