1	그핫 사람들이 할 일 여호와께서 모세와 아론에게 말씀하셨다.	And the Lord spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,
2	“너는 그핫 사람들이 레위 사람들 가운데서 모두 얼마나 되는지 가문별로, 아버지 쪽 집안별로 머릿수를 세어 보아라.	Take the sum of the sons of Kohath from among the sons of Levi, after their families, by the house of their fathers,
3	30-50세의 남자 가운데서 군대에 들어갈 만하고 만남의 천막에서 일할 만한 사람이면 누구든지 세어 보아라.	From thirty years old and upward even until fifty years old, all that enter into the host, to do the work in the tabernacle of the congregation.
4	그핫 사람들이 만남의 천막에서 매우 거룩한 물건에 관해 할 일은 이러하다.	This shall be the service of the sons of Kohath in the tabernacle of the congregation, about the most holy things:
5	진영이 길을 나설 때, 아론과 그의 아들들은 들어가서 가리는 나눔막을 내려 증언상자를 가려야 한다.	And when the camp setteth forward, Aaron shall come, and his sons, and they shall take down the covering vail, and cover the ark of testimony with it:
6	듀공 가죽 덮개를 그 위에 두고, 온통 푸른 보라색 천을 그 위로 펼치고, 막대기를 끼워야 한다.	And shall put thereon the covering of badgers’ skins, and shall spread over it a cloth wholly of blue, and shall put in the staves thereof.
7	거룩한빵(진설병)을 차리는 상 위에 푸른 보라색 천을 펼쳐 놓아야 한다. 그 위에 사발, 접시, 잔, 붓는제물(전제물)을 바칠 때 쓰는 단지를 두어야 한다. 늘 차려 두는 빵이 그 위에 있어야 한다.	And upon the table of shewbread they shall spread a cloth of blue, and put thereon the dishes, and the spoons, and the bowls, and covers to cover withal: and the continual bread shall be thereon:
8	그것들 위에 짙은 붉은색 천을 펼치고, 그것을 듀공 가죽 덮개로 덮고, 막대기를 끼워야 한다.	And they shall spread upon them a cloth of scarlet, and cover the same with a covering of badgers’ skins, and shall put in the staves thereof.
9	푸른 보라색 천을 가져다가 등불받침대, 등잔, 등불 심지 자르는 가위, 불똥 담아 나르는 통을 덮어야 한다. 그것들을 다룰 때 쓰는 온갖 기름 그릇도 덮어야 한다.	And they shall take a cloth of blue, and cover the candlestick of the light, and his lamps, and his tongs, and his snuffdishes, and all the oil vessels thereof, wherewith they minister unto it:
10	등불받침대와 그 온갖 기구는 듀공 가죽 덮개 안에 두고, 들것 위에 얹어야 한다.	And they shall put it and all the vessels thereof within a covering of badgers’ skins, and shall put it upon a bar.
11	금제단 위에도 푸른 보라색 천을 펼쳐 놓고, 그것을 듀공 가죽 덮개로 덮고, 막대기를 끼워야 한다.	And upon the golden altar they shall spread a cloth of blue, and cover it with a covering of badgers’ skins, and shall put to the staves thereof:
12	거룩한곳(성소)에서 섬길 때 쓰는 온갖 기구는 가져다가 푸른 보라색 천 안에 두고, 듀공 가죽 덮개로 덮어서 들것 위에 얹어야 한다.	And they shall take all the instruments of ministry, wherewith they minister in the sanctuary, and put them in a cloth of blue, and cover them with a covering of badgers’ skins, and shall put them on a bar:
13	제단에서 재는 쳐내고 제단 위에 붉은 보라색 천을 펼쳐야 한다.	And they shall take away the ashes from the altar, and spread a purple cloth thereon:
14	섬길 때 쓰는 온갖 기구, 곧 불 옮겨 나르는 통과 고기 갈고리와 부삽과 대야와 제단의 온갖 기구를 그 위에 펼쳐 놓아야 한다. 그 위에 듀공 가죽 덮개를 펼치고 막대기를 끼워야 한다.	And they shall put upon it all the vessels thereof, wherewith they minister about it, even the censers, the fleshhooks, and the shovels, and the basons, all the vessels of the altar; and they shall spread upon it a covering of badgers’ skins, and put to the staves of it.
15	진영이 길을 나설 때, 아론과 그의 아들들은 거룩한곳(성소)과 거룩한곳(성소)의 온갖 기구를 완전히 덮어야 한다. 그런 다음에 그핫 사람들이 와서 옮겨 가는데, 거룩한 물건에 닿지 않게 해야 한다. 닿으면 죽을 것이다. 이런 것이 그핫 사람들이 만남의 천막에서 옮겨 가야 할 것이다.	And when Aaron and his sons have made an end of covering the sanctuary, and all the vessels of the sanctuary, as the camp is to set forward; after that, the sons of Kohath shall come to bear it: but they shall not touch any holy thing, lest they die. These things are the burden of the sons of Kohath in the tabernacle of the congregation.
16	아론 제사장의 아들 엘르아살이 맡은 것은 등불 기름과 향기로운 향이다. 또 늘 바치는 곡식제물(소제물)과 기름붓는 예식에 쓰는 기름이다. 엘르아살은 여호와께서 머무시는 천막과 그 안에 있는 온갖 것, 거룩한곳(성소)과 그 여러 기구도 돌보아야 한다.”	And to the office of Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest pertaineth the oil for the light, and the sweet incense, and the daily meat offering, and the anointing oil, and the oversight of all the tabernacle, and of all that therein is, in the sanctuary, and in the vessels thereof.
17	여호와께서 모세와 아론에게 말씀하셨다.	And the Lord spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,
18	“너희는 레위 사람들 가운데서 그핫 가문의 지파가 사라지지 않게 하여라.	Cut ye not off the tribe of the families of the Kohathites from among the Levites:
19	그들이 매우 거룩한 물건에 다가올 때 죽지 않고 살아남도록 그들을 위해 이렇게 하여라. 아론과 그의 아들들은 그핫 사람들에게 가서 저마다 할 일과 옮길 짐을 정해 주어라.	But thus do unto them, that they may live, and not die, when they approach unto the most holy things: Aaron and his sons shall go in, and appoint them every one to his service and to his burden:
20	그들이 들어가서 잠시라도 거룩한 물건을 보지 않게 하여라. 보면 죽을 것이다.”	But they shall not go in to see when the holy things are covered, lest they die.
21	게르손 사람들이 할 일 여호와께서 모세에게 말씀하셨다.	And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
22	“너는 아버지 쪽 집안별로, 가문별로 게르손 사람들이 모두 얼마나 되는지 조사하여라.	Take also the sum of the sons of Gershon, throughout the houses of their fathers, by their families;
23	30-50세의 남자 가운데서 군대에 들어갈 만하고 만남의 천막에서 일할 만한 사람이면 누구든지 조사하여라.	From thirty years old and upward until fifty years old shalt thou number them; all that enter in to perform the service, to do the work in the tabernacle of the congregation.
24	게르손 가문의 사람들이 할 일과 옮길 짐은 이러하다.	This is the service of the families of the Gershonites, to serve, and for burdens:
25	그들은 내가 머무는 천막의 천들, 만남의 천막과 그 덮개, 그 위에 둘 듀공 가죽 덮개를 옮겨야 한다. 만남의 천막 입구의 가림막도 옮겨야 한다.	And they shall bear the curtains of the tabernacle, and the tabernacle of the congregation, his covering, and the covering of the badgers’ skins that is above upon it, and the hanging for the door of the tabernacle of the congregation,
26	뜰의 가림막과, 내가 머무는 천막과 제단 둘레의 뜰 문에 늘어뜨리는 가림막도 옮겨야 한다. 막 치는 데 쓰는 줄과 그들의 일에 쓰는 온갖 기구도 옮겨야 한다. 이런 것들을 가지고 할 일은 모두 그들이 맡아 해야 한다.	And the hangings of the court, and the hanging for the door of the gate of the court, which is by the tabernacle and by the altar round about, and their cords, and all the instruments of their service, and all that is made for them: so shall they serve.
27	게르손 사람들은 온갖 일을 아론과 그의 아들들이 시키는 대로 해야 한다. 온갖 짐을 옮기고 온갖 일을 해야 한다. 너희는 그들이 맡아서 옮길 짐이 무엇인지 모두 그들에게 정해 주어야 한다.	At the appointment of Aaron and his sons shall be all the service of the sons of the Gershonites, in all their burdens, and in all their service: and ye shall appoint unto them in charge all their burdens.
28	이것이 게르손 가문의 사람들이 만남의 천막에서 할 일이다. 그들이 일을 할 때는 아론 제사장의 아들 이다말의 지휘에 따라야 한다.”	This is the service of the families of the sons of Gershon in the tabernacle of the congregation: and their charge shall be under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest.
29	므라리 사람들이 할 일 “너는 므라리 사람들의 수도 가문별로, 아버지 쪽 집안별로 조사하여라.	As for the sons of Merari, thou shalt number them after their families, by the house of their fathers;
30	30-50세의 남자로서 군대에 들어갈 만하고 만남의 천막에서 일할 만한 사람이면 누구든지 조사하여라.	From thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old shalt thou number them, every one that entereth into the service, to do the work of the tabernacle of the congregation.
31	만남의 천막에서 온갖 일을 할 텐데 그들이 옮기며 지킬 짐은 이러하다. 맨 먼저 내가 머무는 천막의 널빤지, 가로목, 기둥, 받침이 있다.	And this is the charge of their burden, according to all their service in the tabernacle of the congregation; the boards of the tabernacle, and the bars thereof, and the pillars thereof, and sockets thereof,
32	뜰 사방 기둥, 받침, 말뚝, 줄도 있다. 그런 것들과 그들이 할 일에 쓸 온갖 기구도 있다. 너희는 그들이 옮기며 지킬 짐이 무엇인지, 낱낱이 이름을 들어 그들에게 맡겨라.	And the pillars of the court round about, and their sockets, and their pins, and their cords, with all their instruments, and with all their service: and by name ye shall reckon the instruments of the charge of their burden.
33	이것이 므라리 가문의 사람들이 할 일이다. 만남의 천막에서 그들이 할 모든 일이다. 그들은 아론 제사장의 아들 이다말의 지휘에 따라야 한다.”	This is the service of the families of the sons of Merari, according to all their service, in the tabernacle of the congregation, under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest.
34	30-50세 레위 사람들의 수를 조사하다 모세와 아론과 무리의 우두머리들이 가문별로, 아버지 쪽 집안별로 그핫 사람들의 수를 조사했다.	And Moses and Aaron and the chief of the congregation numbered the sons of the Kohathites after their families, and after the house of their fathers,
35	30-50세의 남자 가운데서 군대에 들어갈 만하고 만남의 천막에서 일할 만한 사람이면 누구든지 조사했다.	From thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every one that entereth into the service, for the work in the tabernacle of the congregation:
36	가문에 따라 조사된 사람은 2,750명이다.	And those that were numbered of them by their families were two thousand seven hundred and fifty.
37	이들은 그핫 가문의 사람들 가운데서 조사된 사람들로, 모두 만남의 천막에서 일할 사람이다. 모세를 시켜 여호와께서 하신 말씀대로 모세와 아론이 조사한 사람들이다.	These were they that were numbered of the families of the Kohathites, all that might do service in the tabernacle of the congregation, which Moses and Aaron did number according to the commandment of the Lord by the hand of Moses.
38	게르손 사람들도 가문별로, 아버지 쪽 집안별로 조사했다.	And those that were numbered of the sons of Gershon, throughout their families, and by the house of their fathers,
39	30-50세의 남자 가운데서 군대에 들어갈 만하고 만남의 천막에서 일할 만한 사람이면 누구든지 조사했다.	From thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every one that entereth into the service, for the work in the tabernacle of the congregation,
40	가문별로, 아버지 쪽 집안별로 조사된 사람은 2,630명이다.	Even those that were numbered of them, throughout their families, by the house of their fathers, were two thousand and six hundred and thirty.
41	이들은 게르손 가문의 사람들 가운데서 조사된 사람들로, 모두 만남의 천막에서 일할 사람이다. 여호와의 말씀대로 모세와 아론이 조사한 사람들이다.	These are they that were numbered of the families of the sons of Gershon, of all that might do service in the tabernacle of the congregation, whom Moses and Aaron did number according to the commandment of the Lord.
42	므라리 가문의 사람들도 가문별로, 아버지 쪽 집안별로 조사했다.	And those that were numbered of the families of the sons of Merari, throughout their families, by the house of their fathers,
43	30-50세의 남자 가운데서 군대에 들어갈 만하고 만남의 천막에서 일할 만한 사람이면 누구든지 조사했다.	From thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every one that entereth into the service, for the work in the tabernacle of the congregation,
44	가문에 따라 조사된 사람은 3,200명이다.	Even those that were numbered of them after their families, were three thousand and two hundred.
45	이들은 므라리 가문의 사람들 가운데서 조사된 사람들이다. 모세를 시켜 여호와께서 하신 말씀대로 모세와 아론이 조사한 사람들이다.	These be those that were numbered of the families of the sons of Merari, whom Moses and Aaron numbered according to the word of the Lord by the hand of Moses.
46	모세와 아론과 이스라엘 우두머리들이 가문별로, 아버지 쪽 집안별로 레위 사람들 가운데서 조사해 본 사람은 이러하다.	All those that were numbered of the Levites, whom Moses and Aaron and the chief of Israel numbered, after their families, and after the house of their fathers,
47	30-50세의 남자 가운데서 만남의 천막에 와서 섬기는 일을 하고 짐 옮기는 일을 할 만한 사람이면 누구든지 조사했다.	From thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every one that came to do the service of the ministry, and the service of the burden in the tabernacle of the congregation,
48	조사된 사람은 8,580명이다.	Even those that were numbered of them, were eight thousand and five hundred and fourscore.
49	모세를 시켜 여호와께서 하신 말씀대로 저마다 할 일과 옮길 짐에 맞추어 조사했다. 여호와께서 모세에게 명령하신 대로 조사했다.	According to the commandment of the Lord they were numbered by the hand of Moses, every one according to his service, and according to his burden: thus were they numbered of him, as the Lord commanded Moses.
