1	모압 벌판에 이르기까지 거쳐 온 곳들 이스라엘 사람들이 모세와 아론의 손에 이끌리어, 이집트 땅에서 부대별로 빠져나와 길을 가는 동안 순서대로 머문 곳은 이러하다.	These are the journeys of the children of Israel, which went forth out of the land of Egypt with their armies under the hand of Moses and Aaron.
2	모세는 여호와의 명령을 따라 날마다 조금씩 나아간 곳을 적어 두었는데, 날마다 출발하여 조금씩 나아간 곳은 이러하다.	And Moses wrote their goings out according to their journeys by the commandment of the Lord: and these are their journeys according to their goings out.
3	첫째 달 열다섯째 날에 라메세스에서 길을 나섰다. 넘는명절(유월절) 다음날에 이스라엘 사람들은 모든 이집트 사람들 눈앞에서 손을 높이 들고 빠져나왔다.	And they departed from Rameses in the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month; on the morrow after the passover the children of Israel went out with an high hand in the sight of all the Egyptians.
4	이집트 사람들은 여호와께서 쳐 죽이신 모든 맏아들의 장례를 치르고 있었다. 그들의 신들에게도 여호와께서 형벌을 내리셨다.	For the Egyptians buried all their firstborn, which the Lord had smitten among them: upon their gods also the Lord executed judgments.
5	이스라엘 사람들은 라메세스를 떠나 숙곳에서 진을 쳤다.	And the children of Israel removed from Rameses, and pitched in Succoth.
6	숙곳을 떠나서는 광야 끝에 있는 에담에서 진을 쳤다.	And they departed from Succoth, and pitched in Etham, which is in the edge of the wilderness.
7	에담을 떠나서는 바알스본 맞은편 비하히롯으로 돌아가 믹돌 앞에서 진을 쳤다.	And they removed from Etham, and turned again unto Pi–hahiroth, which is before Baal–zephon: and they pitched before Migdol.
8	비하히롯을 떠나서는 바다 한가운데로 지나서 광야로 갔다. 에담 광야에서는 3일 길을 걸어가 마라에서 진을 쳤다.	And they departed from before Pi–hahiroth, and passed through the midst of the sea into the wilderness, and went three days’ journey in the wilderness of Etham, and pitched in Marah.
9	마라를 떠나서는 엘림에 이르렀다. 엘림에는 12개의 샘과 70그루의 대추야자나무(종려나무)가 있었는데, 그들은 거기에서 진을 쳤다.	And they removed from Marah, and came unto Elim: and in Elim were twelve fountains of water, and threescore and ten palm trees; and they pitched there.
10	엘림을 떠나서는 홍해 가에서 진을 쳤다.	And they removed from Elim, and encamped by the Red sea.
11	홍해를 떠나서는 신 광야에서 진을 쳤다.	And they removed from the Red sea, and encamped in the wilderness of Sin.
12	신 광야를 떠나서는 돕가에서 진을 쳤다.	And they took their journey out of the wilderness of Sin, and encamped in Dophkah.
13	돕가를 떠나서는 알루스에서 진을 쳤다.	And they departed from Dophkah, and encamped in Alush.
14	알루스를 떠나서는 르비딤에서 진을 쳤는데, 거기에는 백성이 마실 물이 없었다.	And they removed from Alush, and encamped at Rephidim, where was no water for the people to drink.
15	르비딤을 떠나서는 시나이 광야에서 진을 쳤다.	And they departed from Rephidim, and pitched in the wilderness of Sinai.
16	시나이 광야를 떠나서는 기브롯핫다아와에서 진을 쳤다.	And they removed from the desert of Sinai, and pitched at Kibroth–hattaavah.
17	기브롯핫다아와를 떠나서는 하세롯에서 진을 쳤다.	And they departed from Kibroth–hattaavah, and encamped at Hazeroth.
18	하세롯을 떠나서는 릿마에서 진을 쳤다.	And they departed from Hazeroth, and pitched in Rithmah.
19	릿마를 떠나서는 림몬베레스에서 진을 쳤다.	And they departed from Rithmah, and pitched at Rimmon–parez.
20	림몬베레스를 떠나서는 립나에서 진을 쳤다.	And they departed from Rimmon–parez, and pitched in Libnah.
21	립나를 떠나서는 릿사에서 진을 쳤다.	And they removed from Libnah, and pitched at Rissah.
22	릿사를 떠나서는 그헬라다에서 진을 쳤다.	And they journeyed from Rissah, and pitched in Kehelathah.
23	그헬라다를 떠나서는 세벨산에서 진을 쳤다.	And they went from Kehelathah, and pitched in mount Shapher.
24	세벨산을 떠나서는 하라다에서 진을 쳤다.	And they removed from mount Shapher, and encamped in Haradah.
25	하라다를 떠나서는 막헬롯에서 진을 쳤다.	And they removed from Haradah, and pitched in Makheloth.
26	막헬롯을 떠나서는 다핫에서 진을 쳤다.	And they removed from Makheloth, and encamped at Tahath.
27	다핫을 떠나서는 데라흐에서 진을 쳤다.	And they departed from Tahath, and pitched at Tarah.
28	데라흐를 떠나서는 밋가에서 진을 쳤다.	And they removed from Tarah, and pitched in Mithcah.
29	밋가를 떠나서는 하스모나에서 진을 쳤다.	And they went from Mithcah, and pitched in Hashmonah.
30	하스모나를 떠나서는 모세라에서 진을 쳤다.	And they departed from Hashmonah, and encamped at Moseroth.
31	모세라를 떠나서는 브네야아간에서 진을 쳤다.	And they departed from Moseroth, and pitched in Bene–jaakan.
32	브네야아간을 떠나서는 호르학깃갓에서 진을 쳤다.	And they removed from Bene–jaakan, and encamped at Hor–hagidgad.
33	호르학깃갓을 떠나서는 욧바다에서 진을 쳤다.	And they went from Hor–hagidgad, and pitched in Jotbathah.
34	욧바다를 떠나서는 아브로나에서 진을 쳤다.	And they removed from Jotbathah, and encamped at Ebronah.
35	아브로나를 떠나서는 에시온게벨에서 진을 쳤다.	And they departed from Ebronah, and encamped at Ezion–gaber.
36	에시온게벨을 떠나서는 친 광야에서 진을 쳤다. 그곳은 가데스였다.	And they removed from Ezion–gaber, and pitched in the wilderness of Zin, which is Kadesh.
37	가데스를 떠나서는 에돔 땅의 끝에 있는 호르산에서 진을 쳤다.	And they removed from Kadesh, and pitched in mount Hor, in the edge of the land of Edom.
38	아론 제사장은 여호와의 명령을 따라 호르산에 올라가 거기서 죽었다. 이스라엘 사람들이 이집트 땅에서 나온 지 40년째 되는 해 다섯째 달 첫째 날이었다.	And Aaron the priest went up into mount Hor at the commandment of the Lord, and died there, in the fortieth year after the children of Israel were come out of the land of Egypt, in the first day of the fifth month.
39	호르산에서 죽을 때 아론은 123세였다.	And Aaron was an hundred and twenty and three years old when he died in mount Hor.
40	가나안 사람인 아랏 임금은 가나안 땅의 네게브에 살고 있었는데, 이스라엘 사람들이 오고 있다는 소식을 들었다.	And king Arad the Canaanite, which dwelt in the south in the land of Canaan, heard of the coming of the children of Israel.
41	이스라엘 사람들이 호르산을 떠나서는 살모나에서 진을 쳤다.	And they departed from mount Hor, and pitched in Zalmonah.
42	살모나를 떠나서는 부논에서 진을 쳤다.	And they departed from Zalmonah, and pitched in Punon.
43	부논을 떠나서는 오봇에서 진을 쳤다.	And they departed from Punon, and pitched in Oboth.
44	오봇을 떠나서는 모압 국경의 이예아바림에서 진을 쳤다.	And they departed from Oboth, and pitched in Ije–abarim, in the border of Moab.
45	이임을 떠나서는 디본갓에서 진을 쳤다.	And they departed from Iim, and pitched in Dibon–gad.
46	디본갓을 떠나서는 알몬디블라다임에서 진을 쳤다.	And they removed from Dibon–gad, and encamped in Almon–diblathaim.
47	알몬디블라다임을 떠나서는 느보 앞 아바림 산지에서 진을 쳤다.	And they removed from Almon–diblathaim, and pitched in the mountains of Abarim, before Nebo.
48	아바림 산지를 떠나서는 여리고에 가까운 요르단 맞은편 모압 벌판에서 진을 쳤다.	And they departed from the mountains of Abarim, and pitched in the plains of Moab by Jordan near Jericho.
49	요르단강 가를 따라 베뎌시못에서 시작하여 아벨싯팀까지 모압 벌판에서 진을 쳤다.	And they pitched by Jordan, from Beth–jesimoth even unto Abel–shittim in the plains of Moab.
50	땅을 차지하고 나서 나누어 가져라 여호와께서 모세에게 말씀하셨다. 여리고에 가까운 요르단 맞은편 모압 벌판에서였다.	And the Lord spake unto Moses in the plains of Moab by Jordan near Jericho, saying,
51	“이스라엘 사람들에게 말해 주어라. 그들에게 이렇게 일러 주어라. ‘너희가 요르단을 건너 가나안 땅에 들어갈 것이다.	Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye are passed over Jordan into the land of Canaan;
52	그러면 너희는 그 땅에 사는 사람들을 모두 너희 앞에서 몰아내어야 한다. 그들이 그림을 새겨 만들어 놓은 것은 모조리 부숴 버려야 한다. 부어 만든 신상을 모조리 부수고 그들의 높은곳(산당)도 모두 없애 버려야 한다.	Then ye shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you, and destroy all their pictures, and destroy all their molten images, and quite pluck down all their high places:
53	그런 다음에 그 땅을 차지하여 그 안에서 살아야 한다. 너희에게 내가 그 땅을 주어 차지하게 했기 때문이다.	And ye shall dispossess the inhabitants of the land, and dwell therein: for I have given you the land to possess it.
54	그 땅을 가문에 따라 제비를 뽑아 나누어 가져야 한다. 수가 많을 때에는 나누어 받을 땅을 늘려 주고, 수가 적을 때에는 나누어 받을 땅을 줄여 주어라. 저마다 제비를 뽑은 대로 차지하게 하여라. 아버지 쪽 지파별로 땅을 나누어 받아야 한다.	And ye shall divide the land by lot for an inheritance among your families: and to the more ye shall give the more inheritance, and to the fewer ye shall give the less inheritance: every man’s inheritance shall be in the place where his lot falleth; according to the tribes of your fathers ye shall inherit.
55	너희가 그 땅에 사는 사람들을 너희 앞에서 몰아내지 않는다고 하자. 그러면 그들 가운데서 너희가 남겨 둔 사람들이 너희 눈에 가시가 될 것이다. 너희 옆구리를 찌르는 것이 될 것이다. 너희가 사는 땅에서 너희를 괴롭힐 것이다.	But if ye will not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you; then it shall come to pass, that those which ye let remain of them shall be pricks in your eyes, and thorns in your sides, and shall vex you in the land wherein ye dwell.
56	내가 그들에게 하기로 계획한 것을 그대로 너희에게 할 것이다.’”	Moreover it shall come to pass, that I shall do unto you, as I thought to do unto them.
