1	부대별로 진을 치다 여호와께서 모세와 아론에게 말씀하셨다.	And the Lord spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,
2	“이스라엘 사람들은 저마다 아버지 쪽 집안을 표시한 깃발 아래에 진을 치게 하여라. 만남의 천막을 빙 돌아가며 그와 마주하여 진을 치게 하여라.	Every man of the children of Israel shall pitch by his own standard, with the ensign of their father’s house: far off about the tabernacle of the congregation shall they pitch.
3	해 돋는 동쪽에 진을 칠 사람들은 유다 진영의 깃발에 속한 이들이다. 유다 사람들의 우두머리는 암미나답의 아들 나흐손이다.	And on the east side toward the rising of the sun shall they of the standard of the camp of Judah pitch throughout their armies: and Nahshon the son of Amminadab shall be captain of the children of Judah.
4	그와 함께할 군인으로 조사된 사람은 74,600명이다.	And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were threescore and fourteen thousand and six hundred.
5	그 곁에 진을 칠 사람들은 잇사갈 지파이다. 잇사갈 사람들의 우두머리는 수알의 아들 느다넬이다.	And those that do pitch next unto him shall be the tribe of Issachar: and Nethaneel the son of Zuar shall be captain of the children of Issachar.
6	그와 함께할 군인으로 조사된 사람은 54,400명이다.	And his host, and those that were numbered thereof, were fifty and four thousand and four hundred.
7	스불론 지파도 그 곁에 진을 치게 하여라. 스불론 사람들의 우두머리는 헬론의 아들 엘리압이다.	Then the tribe of Zebulun: and Eliab the son of Helon shall be captain of the children of Zebulun.
8	그와 함께할 군인으로 조사된 사람은 57,400명이다.	And his host, and those that were numbered thereof, were fifty and seven thousand and four hundred.
9	유다 진영에 딸리도록 부대별로 조사된 사람은 모두 186,400명이다. 그들이 맨 먼저 길을 나서게 하여라.	All that were numbered in the camp of Judah were an hundred thousand and fourscore thousand and six thousand and four hundred, throughout their armies. These shall first set forth.
10	남쪽으로는 르우벤 진영의 깃발을 두고 부대별로 진을 치게 하여라. 르우벤 사람들의 우두머리는 스데울의 아들 엘리술이다.	On the south side shall be the standard of the camp of Reuben according to their armies: and the captain of the children of Reuben shall be Elizur the son of Shedeur.
11	그와 함께할 군인으로 조사된 사람은 46,500명이다.	And his host, and those that were numbered thereof, were forty and six thousand and five hundred.
12	그 곁에 진을 칠 사람들은 시므온 지파이다. 시므온 사람들의 우두머리는 수리삿대의 아들 슬루미엘이다.	And those which pitch by him shall be the tribe of Simeon: and the captain of the children of Simeon shall be Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai.
13	그와 함께할 군인으로 조사된 사람은 59,300명이다.	And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were fifty and nine thousand and three hundred.
14	갓 지파도 그 곁에 진을 치게 하여라. 갓 사람들의 우두머리는 드우엘의 아들 엘리아삽이다.	Then the tribe of Gad: and the captain of the sons of Gad shall be Eliasaph the son of Reuel.
15	그와 함께할 군인으로 조사된 사람은 45,650명이다.	And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were forty and five thousand and six hundred and fifty.
16	르우벤 진영에 딸리도록 부대별로 조사된 사람은 모두 151,450명이다. 그들은 두 번째로 길을 나서게 하여라.	All that were numbered in the camp of Reuben were an hundred thousand and fifty and one thousand and four hundred and fifty, throughout their armies. And they shall set forth in the second rank.
17	그런 다음에 만남의 천막이 레위 사람들의 진영과 함께 여러 진영의 한가운데서 길을 나서게 하여라. 각자 진을 친 대로 자신의 자리, 자신의 깃발 아래에서 길을 나서게 하여라.	Then the tabernacle of the congregation shall set forward with the camp of the Levites in the midst of the camp: as they encamp, so shall they set forward, every man in his place by their standards.
18	서쪽으로는 에브라임 진영의 깃발을 두고 부대별로 진을 치게 하여라. 에브라임 사람들의 우두머리는 암미훗의 아들 엘리사마이다.	On the west side shall be the standard of the camp of Ephraim according to their armies: and the captain of the sons of Ephraim shall be Elishama the son of Ammihud.
19	그와 함께할 군인으로 조사된 사람은 40,500명이다.	And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were forty thousand and five hundred.
20	그 곁에는 므낫세 지파가 진을 치게 하여라. 므낫세 사람들의 우두머리는 브다술의 아들 가말리엘이다.	And by him shall be the tribe of Manasseh: and the captain of the children of Manasseh shall be Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur.
21	그와 함께할 군인으로 조사된 사람은 32,200명이다.	And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were thirty and two thousand and two hundred.
22	베냐민 지파도 그 곁에 진을 치게 하여라. 베냐민 사람들의 우두머리는 기드오니의 아들 아비단이다.	Then the tribe of Benjamin: and the captain of the sons of Benjamin shall be Abidan the son of Gideoni.
23	그와 함께할 군인으로 조사된 사람은 35,400명이다.	And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were thirty and five thousand and four hundred.
24	에브라임 진영에 딸리도록 부대별로 조사된 사람은 모두 108,100명이다. 그들은 세 번째로 길을 나서게 하여라.	All that were numbered of the camp of Ephraim were an hundred thousand and eight thousand and an hundred, throughout their armies. And they shall go forward in the third rank.
25	북쪽으로는 단 진영의 깃발을 두고 부대별로 진을 치게 하여라. 단 사람들의 우두머리는 암미삿대의 아들 아히에셀이다.	The standard of the camp of Dan shall be on the north side by their armies: and the captain of the children of Dan shall be Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai.
26	그와 함께할 군인으로 조사된 사람은 62,700명이다.	And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were threescore and two thousand and seven hundred.
27	그 곁에 진을 칠 사람들은 아셀 지파이다. 아셀 사람들의 우두머리는 오그란의 아들 바기엘이다.	And those that encamp by him shall be the tribe of Asher: and the captain of the children of Asher shall be Pagiel the son of Ocran.
28	그와 함께할 군인으로 조사된 사람은 41,500명이다.	And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were forty and one thousand and five hundred.
29	납달리 지파도 그 곁에 진을 치게 하여라. 납달리 사람들의 우두머리는 에난의 아들 아히라이다.	Then the tribe of Naphtali: and the captain of the children of Naphtali shall be Ahira the son of Enan.
30	그와 함께할 군인으로 조사된 사람은 53,400명이다.	And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were fifty and three thousand and four hundred.
31	단 진영에 딸리도록 조사된 사람은 모두 157,600명이다. 그들이 자신들의 깃발 아래에서 맨 나중에 길을 나서게 하여라.”	All they that were numbered in the camp of Dan were an hundred thousand and fifty and seven thousand and six hundred. They shall go hindmost with their standards.
32	이들은 아버지 쪽 집안에 따라 조사된 이스라엘 사람들이다. 여러 진영에서 부대별로 조사된 사람은 모두 603,550명이다.	These are those which were numbered of the children of Israel by the house of their fathers: all those that were numbered of the camps throughout their hosts were six hundred thousand and three thousand and five hundred and fifty.
33	레위 사람들은 이스라엘 사람들의 수에 넣지 않았다. 여호와께서 모세에게 명령하신 대로였다.	But the Levites were not numbered among the children of Israel; as the Lord commanded Moses.
34	이스라엘 사람들은 그대로 실행했다. 여호와께서 모세에게 명령하신 꼭 그대로, 자신들의 깃발 아래에 진을 치고 길을 나섰다. 저마다 자기 가문별로, 아버지 쪽 집안을 두고 그렇게 했다.	And the children of Israel did according to all that the Lord commanded Moses: so they pitched by their standards, and so they set forward, every one after their families, according to the house of their fathers.
