| 1 | «Ωδή των Αναβαθμών.» Υψόνω τους οφθαλμούς μου προς τα όρη· πόθεν θέλει ελθεί η βοήθειά μου; | I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. |
| 2 | Η βοήθειά μου έρχεται από του Κυρίου, του ποιήσαντος τον ουρανόν και την γην. | My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth. |
| 3 | Δεν θέλει αφήσει να κλονισθή ο πους σου· ουδέ θέλει νυστάξει ο φυλάττων σε. | He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. |
| 4 | Ιδού, δεν θέλει νυστάξει ουδέ θέλει αποκοιμηθή, ο φυλάττων τον Ισραήλ. | Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. |
| 5 | Ο Κύριος είναι ο φύλαξ σου· ο Κύριος είναι η σκέπη σου εκ δεξιών σου. | The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand. |
| 6 | Την ημέραν ο ήλιος δεν θέλει σε βλάψει, ουδέ η σελήνη την νύκτα. | The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. |
| 7 | Ο Κύριος θέλει σε φυλάττει από παντός κακού· θέλει φυλάττει την ψυχήν σου. | The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. |
| 8 | Ο Κύριος θέλει φυλάττει την έξοδόν σου και την είσοδόν σου, από του νυν και έως του αιώνος. | The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore. |
