| 1 | Ein Lied der Kinder Korah von der Jugend, vorzusingen. | God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. |
| 2 | GOtt ist unsere Zuversicht und Stärke, eine Hilfe in den großen Nöten, die uns getroffen haben. | Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; |
| 3 | Darum fürchten wir uns nicht, wenngleich die Welt unterginge und die Berge mitten ins Meer sänken, | Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah. |
| 4 | wenngleich das Meer wütete und wallete und von seinem Ungestüm die Berge einfielen. Sela. | There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High. |
| 5 | Dennoch soll die Stadt GOttes fein lustig bleiben mit ihren Brünnlein, da die heiligen Wohnungen des Höchsten sind. | God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early. |
| 6 | GOtt ist bei ihr drinnen, darum wird sie wohl bleiben; GOtt hilft ihr frühe. | The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted. |
| 7 | Die Heiden müssen verzagen und die Königreiche fallen; das Erdreich muß vergehen, wenn er sich hören läßt. | The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah. |

| 9 | Kommt her und schauet die Werke des HErrn, der auf Erden solch Zerstören anrichtet, | He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire. |
| 10 | der den Kriegen steuert in aller Welt, der Bogen zerbricht, Spieße zerschlägt und Wagen mit Feuer verbrennt. | Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. |
