1	Noch einmal: Der Stamm Benjamin Benjamin aber zeugte Bela, seinen Erstgeborenen, Aschbel als zweiten Sohn, Achrach als dritten,	Now Benjamin begat Bela his firstborn, Ashbel the second, and Aharah the third,
2	Noha als vierten, Rafa als fünften.	Nohah the fourth, and Rapha the fifth.
3	Und Bela hatte Söhne: Ard, Gera, Abihud,	And the sons of Bela were, Addar, and Gera, and Abihud,
4	Abischua, Naaman, Ahoach,	And Abishua, and Naaman, and Ahoah,
5	Gera, Schefufan und Huram.	And Gera, and Shephuphan, and Huram.
6	Dies sind die Söhne Ehuds, die Häupter der Sippen waren unter den Bürgern zu Geba, und man führte sie gefangen nach Manahat,	And these are the sons of Ehud: these are the heads of the fathers of the inhabitants of Geba, and they removed them to Manahath:

9	und er zeugte mit seiner Frau Hodesch: Jobab, Zibja, Mescha, Malkam,	And he begat of Hodesh his wife, Jobab, and Zibia, and Mesha, and Malcham,
10	Jëuz, Sacheja und Mirma. Das sind seine Söhne, Häupter der Sippen.	And Jeuz, and Shachia, and Mirma. These were his sons, heads of the fathers.
11	Mit Huschim aber hatte er Abitub und Elpaal gezeugt.	And of Hushim he begat Abitub, and Elpaal.
12	Die Söhne Elpaals aber waren: Eber, Mischam und Schemed. Dieser baute Ono und Lod und ihre Ortschaften.	The sons of Elpaal; Eber, and Misham, and Shamed, who built Ono, and Lod, with the towns thereof:
13	Und Beria und Schema waren Häupter der Sippen unter den Bürgern von Ajalon; sie verjagten die Einwohner von Gat.	Beriah also, and Shema, who were heads of the fathers of the inhabitants of Aijalon, who drove away the inhabitants of Gath:
14	Und ihre Brüder waren: Schaschak, Jeremot,	And Ahio, Shashak, and Jeremoth,

23	Abdon, Sichri, Hanan,	And Abdon, and Zichri, and Hanan,
24	Hananja, Elam, Antotija,	And Hananiah, and Elam, and Antothijah,
25	Jifdeja und Pnuël; das sind die Söhne Schaschaks.	And Iphedeiah, and Penuel, the sons of Shashak;

27	Jaareschja, Elija und Sichri; das sind die Söhne Jerohams.	And Jaresiah, and Eliah, and Zichri, the sons of Jeroham.
28	Das sind die Häupter der Sippen ihrer Geschlechter, die in Jerusalem wohnten.	These were heads of the fathers, by their generations, chief men. These dwelt in Jerusalem.
29	Aber in Gibeon wohnte Jëiël, der Vater Gibeons, und seine Frau hieß Maacha.	And at Gibeon dwelt the father of Gibeon; whose wife’s name was Maachah:
30	Und sein erstgeborener Sohn war Abdon, ferner Zur, Kisch, Baal, Ner, Nadab,	And his firstborn son Abdon, and Zur, and Kish, and Baal, and Nadab,
31	Gedor, Achjo, Secher und Miklot.	And Gedor, and Ahio, and Zacher.
32	Miklot aber zeugte Schima. Und auch sie wohnten mit ihren Brüdern in Jerusalem, ihnen gegenüber.	And Mikloth begat Shimeah. And these also dwelt with their brethren in Jerusalem, over against them.
33	Ner zeugte Abner, und Kisch zeugte Saul. Saul zeugte Jonatan, Malkischua, Abinadab und Eschbaal.	And Ner begat Kish, and Kish begat Saul, and Saul begat Jonathan, and Malchi–shua, and Abinadab, and Esh–baal.
34	Der Sohn Jonatans aber war Merib-Baal. Merib-Baal zeugte Micha.	And the son of Jonathan was Merib–baal; and Merib–baal begat Micah.
35	Die Söhne Michas waren: Piton, Melech, Tachrea und Ahas.	And the sons of Micah were, Pithon, and Melech, and Tarea, and Ahaz.
36	Ahas aber zeugte Joadda. Joadda zeugte Alemet, Asmawet und Simri. Simri zeugte Moza.	And Ahaz begat Jehoadah; and Jehoadah begat Alemeth, and Azmaveth, and Zimri; and Zimri begat Moza,
37	Moza zeugte Bina; dessen Sohn war Refaja, dessen Sohn war Elasa, dessen Sohn war Azel.	And Moza begat Binea: Rapha was his son, Eleasah his son, Azel his son:
38	Azel aber hatte sechs Söhne, die hießen: Asrikam, Bochru, Jischmael, Schearja, Obadja, Hanan. Die waren alle Söhne Azels.	And Azel had six sons, whose names are these, Azrikam, Bocheru, and Ishmael, and Sheariah, and Obadiah, and Hanan. All these were the sons of Azel.
39	Die Söhne seines Bruders Eschek waren: Ulam, sein Erstgeborener, Jëusch, der zweite Sohn, Elifelet, der dritte.	And the sons of Eshek his brother were, Ulam his firstborn, Jehush the second, and Eliphelet the third.
40	Die Söhne Ulams aber waren gewaltige Leute und geschickt mit Bogen und hatten viele Söhne und Enkel, hundertfünfzig. Diese alle sind von den Söhnen Benjamin.	And the sons of Ulam were mighty men of valour, archers, and had many sons, and sons’ sons, an hundred and fifty. All these are of the sons of Benjamin.
