| 1 | 같은 해 곧 유다 왕 시드기야의 통치 초기인 제사년 오월에 기브온 출신의 대언자로 앗술의 아들인 하나냐가 주의 집에서 제사장들과 온 백성 앞에서 내게 말하여 이르되, | And it came to pass the same year, in the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, in the fourth year, and in the fifth month, that Hananiah the son of Azur the prophet, which was of Gibeon, spake unto me in the house of the Lord, in the presence of the priests and of all the people, saying, |
| 2 | 만군의 주 곧 이스라엘의 하나님이 이같이 말하여 이르노라. 내가 바빌론 왕의 멍에를 꺾었느니라. | Thus speaketh the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, saying, I have broken the yoke of the king of Babylon. |
| 3 | 내가 바빌론 왕 느부갓네살이 이곳에서 취하여 바빌론으로 옮겨간 주의 집의 모든 기구를 만 이 년이 차기 전에 이곳으로 다시 가져오고 | Within two full years will I bring again into this place all the vessels of the Lord’s house, that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon took away from this place, and carried them to Babylon: |
| 4 | 내가 또 바빌론으로 간 유다 왕 여호야김의 아들 여고니야와 유다의 모든 포로를 이곳으로 다시 데려오리니 내가 바빌론 왕의 멍에를 꺾으리라. 주가 말하노라, 하니라. | And I will bring again to this place Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah, with all the captives of Judah, that went into Babylon, saith the Lord: for I will break the yoke of the king of Babylon. |
| 5 | ¶그때에 대언자 예레미야가 주의 집에 서 있던 제사장들 앞과 온 백성 앞에서 대언자 하나냐에게 말하니라. | Then the prophet Jeremiah said unto the prophet Hananiah in the presence of the priests, and in the presence of all the people that stood in the house of the Lord, |
| 6 | 곧 대언자 예레미야가 말하되, 아멘, 주께서 그리하시기를 원하노라. 주께서 네가 대언한 네 말들을 이루사 주의 집의 기구들과 포로로 끌려간 모든 자들을 바빌론에서 이곳으로 다시 데려오시기를 원하노라. | Even the prophet Jeremiah said, Amen: the Lord do so: the Lord perform thy words which thou hast prophesied, to bring again the vessels of the Lord’s house, and all that is carried away captive, from Babylon into this place. |
| 7 | 그럼에도 불구하고 이제 너는 내가 네 귀와 온 백성의 귀에 말하는 이 말을 들으라. | Nevertheless hear thou now this word that I speak in thine ears, and in the ears of all the people; |
| 8 | 나와 너 이전에 옛적부터 있던 대언자들이 많은 나라들과 큰 왕국들을 향해 전쟁과 재앙과 역병에 대하여 대언하였느니라. | The prophets that have been before me and before thee of old prophesied both against many countries, and against great kingdoms, of war, and of evil, and of pestilence. |
| 9 | 평화를 대언하는 대언자로 말하건대, 그 대언자의 말이 이루어질 때에야 비로소 그 대언자가 알려지며 진실로 주께서 그를 보내셨음이 알려지리라, 하니라. | The prophet which prophesieth of peace, when the word of the prophet shall come to pass, then shall the prophet be known, that the Lord hath truly sent him. |
| 10 | ¶그때에 대언자 하나냐가 대언자 예레미야의 목에서 멍에를 벗겨 그것을 꺾고 | Then Hananiah the prophet took the yoke from off the prophet Jeremiah’s neck, and brake it. |
| 11 | 온 백성 앞에서 말하여 이르되, 주가 이같이 말하노라. 내가 만 이 년 기한이 차기 전에 모든 민족들의 목에서 바빌론 왕 느부갓네살의 멍에를 이와 같이 꺾으리라, 하매 대언자 예레미야가 자기 길로 가니라. | And Hananiah spake in the presence of all the people, saying, Thus saith the Lord; Even so will I break the yoke of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon from the neck of all nations within the space of two full years. And the prophet Jeremiah went his way. |
| 12 | ¶대언자 하나냐가 대언자 예레미야의 목에서 멍에를 꺾은 뒤에 그때에 주의 말씀이 대언자 예레미야에게 임하니라. 이르시되, | Then the word of the Lord came unto Jeremiah the prophet, after that Hananiah the prophet had broken the yoke from off the neck of the prophet Jeremiah, saying, |
| 13 | 가서 하나냐에게 말하여 이르기를, 주가 이같이 말하노라. 네가 나무 멍에들을 꺾었으나 그것들 대신 쇠 멍에들을 만들리라. | Go and tell Hananiah, saying, Thus saith the Lord; Thou hast broken the yokes of wood; but thou shalt make for them yokes of iron. |
| 14 | 만군의 주 곧 이스라엘의 하나님이 이같이 말하노라. 내가 쇠 멍에를 이 모든 민족들의 목에 걸어 그들이 바빌론 왕 느부갓네살을 섬기게 하였으니 그들이 그를 섬길 것이요, 또 내가 그에게 들의 짐승들도 주었느니라, 하라. | For thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel; I have put a yoke of iron upon the neck of all these nations, that they may serve Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon; and they shall serve him: and I have given him the beasts of the field also. |
| 15 | ¶이에 대언자 예레미야가 대언자 하나냐에게 이르되, 하나냐야, 이제 들으라. 주께서 너를 보내지 아니하셨거늘 네가 이 백성으로 하여금 거짓을 신뢰하게 하는도다. | Then said the prophet Jeremiah unto Hananiah the prophet, Hear now, Hananiah; The Lord hath not sent thee; but thou makest this people to trust in a lie. |
| 16 | 그러므로 주께서 이같이 말씀하시느니라. 보라, 네가 주에게 반역하는 것을 가르쳤으므로 내가 너를 지면에서 없애리니 네가 이 해에 죽으리라, 하매 | Therefore thus saith the Lord; Behold, I will cast thee from off the face of the earth: this year thou shalt die, because thou hast taught rebellion against the Lord. |
| 17 | 이에 대언자 하나냐가 바로 그 해 칠월에 죽었더라. | So Hananiah the prophet died the same year in the seventh month. |
