1 주께서 시내 산에서 모세와 말씀하신 날에 아론과 모세의 세대들이 또한 이러하니라. These also are the generations of Aaron and Moses in the day that the Lord spake with Moses in mount Sinai.
2 아론의 아들들의 이름은 이러하니 맏아들 나답과 아비후와 엘르아살과 이다말이니라. And these are the names of the sons of Aaron; Nadab the firstborn, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
3 이것들은 아론의 아들들 곧 기름 부음을 받은 제사장들의 이름들이니라. 그가 그들을 거룩히 구분하여 제사장의 직무로 섬기게 하니라. These are the names of the sons of Aaron, the priests which were anointed, whom he consecrated to minister in the priest’s office.
4 나답과 아비후는 시내 광야에서 이상한 불을 주 앞에 드리다가 주 앞에서 죽어 자식이 없었으며 엘르아살과 이다말이 자기들의 아버지 아론의 눈앞에서 제사장의 직무로 섬겼더라. And Nadab and Abihu died before the Lord, when they offered strange fire before the Lord, in the wilderness of Sinai, and they had no children: and Eleazar and Ithamar ministered in the priest’s office in the sight of Aaron their father.
5 ¶주께서 모세에게 말씀하여 이르시되, And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
6 레위 지파를 가까이 데려오고 그들을 제사장 아론 앞에 보여 그들이 그를 섬기게 하라. Bring the tribe of Levi near, and present them before Aaron the priest, that they may minister unto him.
7 그들은 회중의 성막 앞에서 그의 책무와 온 회중의 책무를 맡아 성막에서 섬기는 일을 할지니 And they shall keep his charge, and the charge of the whole congregation before the tabernacle of the congregation, to do the service of the tabernacle.
8 곧 그들은 회중의 성막의 모든 기구를 맡고 이스라엘 자손의 책무를 맡아 성막에서 섬기는 일을 할지니라. And they shall keep all the instruments of the tabernacle of the congregation, and the charge of the children of Israel, to do the service of the tabernacle.
9 너는 레위 사람들을 아론과 그의 아들들에게 줄지니 그들은 이스라엘 자손 중에서 전적으로 그에게 준 자들이니라. And thou shalt give the Levites unto Aaron and to his sons: they are wholly given unto him out of the children of Israel.
10 너는 아론과 그의 아들들을 임명하여 그들이 자기들의 제사장 직무를 수행하게 할 것이요, 낯선 자가 가까이 오면 죽일지니라. And thou shalt appoint Aaron and his sons, and they shall wait on their priest’s office: and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death.
11 주께서 모세에게 말씀하여 이르시되, And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
12 보라, 나 곧 내가 이스라엘 자손 가운데서 레위 사람들을 취하여 이스라엘 자손 중에서 태를 여는 자들 즉 처음 난 모든 자를 대신하게 하였노라. 그러므로 레위 사람들은 내 것이 되리니 And I, behold, I have taken the Levites from among the children of Israel instead of all the firstborn that openeth the matrix among the children of Israel: therefore the Levites shall be mine;
13 이는 처음 난 모든 것이 내 것이기 때문이니라. 내가 이집트 땅에서 처음 난 모든 것을 치던 날에 이스라엘 안에서 처음 난 모든 것은 사람이나 짐승이나 다 나를 위해 거룩히 구별하였으니 그들은 내 것이 되리라. 나는 주니라. Because all the firstborn are mine; for on the day that I smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt I hallowed unto me all the firstborn in Israel, both man and beast: mine shall they be: I am the Lord.
14 ¶주께서 시내 광야에서 모세에게 말씀하여 이르시되, And the Lord spake unto Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, saying,
15 너는 레위 자손을 그들의 조상들의 집과 그들의 가족들에 따라 계수하되 난 지 한 달이 넘은 모든 남자를 계수하라, 하시니 Number the children of Levi after the house of their fathers, by their families: every male from a month old and upward shalt thou number them.
16 모세가 주의 말씀에 따라 그분께서 명령하신 대로 그들을 계수하니라. And Moses numbered them according to the word of the Lord, as he was commanded.
17 레위의 아들들은 그들의 이름대로 이러하니 게르손과 고핫과 므라리요, And these were the sons of Levi by their names; Gershon, and Kohath, and Merari.
18 게르손의 아들들의 이름은 그들의 가족들에 따라 이러하니 립니와 시므이요, And these are the names of the sons of Gershon by their families; Libni, and Shimei.
19 고핫의 아들들은 그들의 가족들에 따라 아므람과 이스할과 헤브론과 웃시엘이요, And the sons of Kohath by their families; Amram, and Izehar, Hebron, and Uzziel.
20 므라리의 아들들은 그들의 가족들에 따라 말리와 무시니 이들은 레위 사람들의 조상들의 집에 따른 레위 사람들의 가족들이니라. And the sons of Merari by their families; Mahli, and Mushi. These are the families of the Levites according to the house of their fathers.
21 게르손에게서는 립니 족속의 가족과 시므이 족속의 가족이 났더라. 이들은 게르손 족속의 가족들이니라. Of Gershon was the family of the Libnites, and the family of the Shimites: these are the families of the Gershonites.
22 난 지 한 달이 넘은 모든 남자의 수에 따라 그들 중에서 계수된 자들 곧 그들 중에서 계수된 자들이 칠천오백 명이더라. Those that were numbered of them, according to the number of all the males, from a month old and upward, even those that were numbered of them were seven thousand and five hundred.
23 게르손 족속의 가족들은 성막 뒤 곧 서편에 진을 칠 것이요, The families of the Gershonites shall pitch behind the tabernacle westward.
24 라엘의 아들 엘리아삽이 게르손 족속의 아버지 집의 우두머리가 될 것이니라. And the chief of the house of the father of the Gershonites shall be Eliasaph the son of Lael.
25 게르손의 아들들이 회중의 성막에서 맡을 책무는 성막과 장막과 그것의 덮개와 회중의 성막 문 현수막과 And the charge of the sons of Gershon in the tabernacle of the congregation shall be the tabernacle, and the tent, the covering thereof, and the hanging for the door of the tabernacle of the congregation,
26 뜰의 현수막들과 및 성막 옆과 제단 옆 사방에 있는 뜰의 문에 칠 휘장과 그 모든 섬기는 일에 쓰는 그것의 줄들이 되리라. And the hangings of the court, and the curtain for the door of the court, which is by the tabernacle, and by the altar round about, and the cords of it for all the service thereof.
27 ¶고핫에게서는 아므람 족속의 가족과 이스할 족속의 가족과 헤브론 족속의 가족과 웃시엘 족속의 가족이 났더라. 이들은 고핫 족속의 가족들이니라. And of Kohath was the family of the Amramites, and the family of the Izeharites, and the family of the Hebronites, and the family of the Uzzielites: these are the families of the Kohathites.
28 난 지 한 달이 넘은 모든 남자의 수가 팔천육백으로 이들이 성소의 책무를 맡을 것이며 In the number of all the males, from a month old and upward, were eight thousand and six hundred, keeping the charge of the sanctuary.
29 고핫의 아들들의 가족들은 성막의 남쪽 편에 진을 칠 것이요, The families of the sons of Kohath shall pitch on the side of the tabernacle southward.
30 웃시엘의 아들 엘리사반이 고핫 족속 가족들의 아버지 집의 우두머리가 될 것이니라. And the chief of the house of the father of the families of the Kohathites shall be Elizaphan the son of Uzziel.
31 그들이 맡을 책무는 궤와 상과 등잔대와 제단들과 그들이 섬길 때 쓰는 성소의 기구들과 현수막과 그 모든 섬기는 일이 되리라. And their charge shall be the ark, and the table, and the candlestick, and the altars, and the vessels of the sanctuary wherewith they minister, and the hanging, and all the service thereof.
32 제사장 아론의 아들 엘르아살은 레위 사람들의 우두머리를 다스리는 우두머리가 되고 또 성소의 책무를 맡은 자들을 감독할 것이니라. And Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest shall be chief over the chief of the Levites, and have the oversight of them that keep the charge of the sanctuary.
33 ¶므라리에게서는 말리 족속의 가족과 무시 족속의 가족이 났더라. 이들은 므라리의 가족들이니라. Of Merari was the family of the Mahlites, and the family of the Mushites: these are the families of Merari.
34 난 지 한 달이 넘은 모든 남자의 수에 따라 그들 중에서 계수된 자들이 육천이백 명이며 And those that were numbered of them, according to the number of all the males, from a month old and upward, were six thousand and two hundred.
35 아비하일의 아들 수리엘이 므라리 가족들의 아버지 집의 우두머리가 될 것이요, 이들은 성막의 북쪽 편에 진을 칠 것이니라. And the chief of the house of the father of the families of Merari was Zuriel the son of Abihail: these shall pitch on the side of the tabernacle northward.
36 므라리의 아들들이 관리하며 맡을 책무는 성막의 널빤지들과 그것의 가로 막대기들과 기둥들과 밑받침들과 모든 기구와 그것에 쓰는 모든 것과 And under the custody and charge of the sons of Merari shall be the boards of the tabernacle, and the bars thereof, and the pillars thereof, and the sockets thereof, and all the vessels thereof, and all that serveth thereto,
37 뜰 둘레의 기둥들과 그것들의 밑받침들과 말뚝들과 줄들이 되리라. And the pillars of the court round about, and their sockets, and their pins, and their cords.
38 ¶그러나 성막 앞에서 동쪽을 향해 곧 회중의 성막 앞에서 동쪽으로 진을 치는 자들은 모세와 아론과 아론의 아들들이 되리니 이들은 이스라엘 자손의 책무를 대신하여 성소의 책무를 맡을 것이며 낯선 자가 가까이 오면 죽일지니라. But those that encamp before the tabernacle toward the east, even before the tabernacle of the congregation eastward, shall be Moses, and Aaron and his sons, keeping the charge of the sanctuary for the charge of the children of Israel; and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death.
39 모세와 아론이 주의 명령대로 레위 사람들 중에서 두루 그들의 가족들에 따라 계수한 모든 사람 곧 난 지 한 달이 넘은 모든 남자가 이만 이천 명이더라. All that were numbered of the Levites, which Moses and Aaron numbered at the commandment of the Lord, throughout their families, all the males from a month old and upward, were twenty and two thousand.
40 ¶주께서 또 모세에게 이르시되, 이스라엘 자손의 남자들 중에서 처음 난 모든 자를 계수하되 난 지 한 달이 넘은 자를 계수하고 그들의 이름 수를 세라. And the Lord said unto Moses, Number all the firstborn of the males of the children of Israel from a month old and upward, and take the number of their names.
41 (나는 주니라.) 너는 나를 위하여 이스라엘 자손 가운데서 처음 난 모든 자 대신 레위 사람들을 취하고 또 이스라엘 자손의 가축 가운데서 모든 첫 새끼 대신 레위 사람들의 가축을 취하라. And thou shalt take the Levites for me (I am the Lord) instead of all the firstborn among the children of Israel; and the cattle of the Levites instead of all the firstlings among the cattle of the children of Israel.
42 모세가 주께서 자기에게 명령하신 대로 이스라엘 자손 가운데서 처음 난 모든 자를 계수하니 And Moses numbered, as the Lord commanded him, all the firstborn among the children of Israel.
43 난 지 한 달이 넘은 자로 그들 중에서 계수된 자들 가운데 처음 난 남자가 이름 수대로 모두 이만 이천이백칠십삼 명이더라. And all the firstborn males by the number of names, from a month old and upward, of those that were numbered of them, were twenty and two thousand two hundred and threescore and thirteen.
44 ¶주께서 모세에게 말씀하여 이르시되, And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
45 이스라엘 자손 가운데서 처음 난 모든 자 대신 레위 사람들을 취하고 또 그들의 가축 대신 레위 사람들의 가축을 취하라. 레위 사람들은 내 것이 되리니 나는 주니라. Take the Levites instead of all the firstborn among the children of Israel, and the cattle of the Levites instead of their cattle; and the Levites shall be mine: I am the Lord.
46 이스라엘 자손 중에서 처음 난 자들이 레위 사람들보다 이백칠십삼 명 더 많은즉 그들을 대속하기 위하여 And for those that are to be redeemed of the two hundred and threescore and thirteen of the firstborn of the children of Israel, which are more than the Levites;
47 너는 머릿수대로 오 세겔씩 취하되 성소의 세겔에 따라 그것들을 취할지니 (일 세겔은 이십 게라니라.) Thou shalt even take five shekels apiece by the poll, after the shekel of the sanctuary shalt thou take them: (the shekel is twenty gerahs:)
48 또 너는 그들 중에서 남은 자들을 대속할 때 쓸 돈을 아론과 그의 아들들에게 줄지니라. And thou shalt give the money, wherewith the odd number of them is to be redeemed, unto Aaron and to his sons.
49 모세가 레위 사람들로 대속한 사람들 이외의 사람들에게서 대속하는 돈을 받았으니 And Moses took the redemption money of them that were over and above them that were redeemed by the Levites:
50 곧 그가 이스라엘 자손 중에서 처음 난 자들에게서 받은 돈이 성소의 세겔에 따라 천삼백육십오 세겔이더라. Of the firstborn of the children of Israel took he the money; a thousand three hundred and threescore and five shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary:
51 모세가 대속받은 자들에게서 취한 돈을 주의 말씀에 따라 아론과 그의 아들들에게 주었으니 주께서 모세에게 명령하신 것과 같았더라. And Moses gave the money of them that were redeemed unto Aaron and to his sons, according to the word of the Lord, as the Lord commanded Moses.
