| 1 | 주께서 모세와 아론에게 말씀하여 이르시되, | And the Lord spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying, |
| 2 | 이스라엘 자손에 속한 각 사람은 자기들의 아버지 집의 기(旗)와 함께 자기 군기 옆에 진을 치되 회중의 성막에서 멀리 칠지니라. | Every man of the children of Israel shall pitch by his own standard, with the ensign of their father’s house: far off about the tabernacle of the congregation shall they pitch. |
| 3 | 해 뜨는 쪽으로 동쪽 편에는 유다 진영의 군기에 속한 자들이 그들의 군대대로 진을 칠지니라. 유다 자손의 대장은 암미나답의 아들 나손이요, | And on the east side toward the rising of the sun shall they of the standard of the camp of Judah pitch throughout their armies: and Nahshon the son of Amminadab shall be captain of the children of Judah. |
| 4 | 그의 군대 곧 그들 중에서 계수된 자가 칠만 사천육백 명이니라. | And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were threescore and fourteen thousand and six hundred. |
| 5 | 그 옆에 진 칠 자들은 잇사갈 지파라. 잇사갈 자손의 대장은 수알의 아들 느다네엘이요, | And those that do pitch next unto him shall be the tribe of Issachar: and Nethaneel the son of Zuar shall be captain of the children of Issachar. |
| 6 | 그의 군대 곧 그들 중에서 계수된 자가 오만 사천사백 명이며 | And his host, and those that were numbered thereof, were fifty and four thousand and four hundred. |
| 7 | 또 스불론 지파라. 스불론 자손의 대장은 헬론의 아들 엘리압이요, | Then the tribe of Zebulun: and Eliab the son of Helon shall be captain of the children of Zebulun. |
| 8 | 그의 군대 곧 그들 중에서 계수된 자가 오만 칠천사백 명이니 | And his host, and those that were numbered thereof, were fifty and seven thousand and four hundred. |
| 9 | 유다 진영에서 그들의 군대대로 두루 계수된 자는 모두 십팔만 육천사백 명이니라. 이들은 먼저 출발할지니라. | All that were numbered in the camp of Judah were an hundred thousand and fourscore thousand and six thousand and four hundred, throughout their armies. These shall first set forth. |
| 10 | ¶남쪽 편에는 르우벤 진영의 군기가 그들의 군대대로 있을지니라. 르우벤 자손의 대장은 스데울의 아들 엘리술이요, | On the south side shall be the standard of the camp of Reuben according to their armies: and the captain of the children of Reuben shall be Elizur the son of Shedeur. |

| 12 | 그 옆에 진 칠 자들은 시므온 지파라. 시므온 자손의 대장은 수리삿대의 아들 슬루미엘이요, | And those which pitch by him shall be the tribe of Simeon: and the captain of the children of Simeon shall be Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai. |
| 13 | 그의 군대 곧 그들 중에서 계수된 자가 오만 구천삼백 명이며 | And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were fifty and nine thousand and three hundred. |
| 14 | 또 갓 지파라. 갓의 아들들의 대장은 르우엘의 아들 엘리아삽이요, | Then the tribe of Gad: and the captain of the sons of Gad shall be Eliasaph the son of Reuel. |
| 15 | 그의 군대 곧 그들 중에서 계수된 자가 사만 오천육백오십 명이니 | And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were forty and five thousand and six hundred and fifty. |
| 16 | 르우벤 진영에서 그들의 군대대로 두루 계수된 자는 모두 십오만 천사백오십 명이니라. 그들은 둘째 줄에서 출발할지니라. | All that were numbered in the camp of Reuben were an hundred thousand and fifty and one thousand and four hundred and fifty, throughout their armies. And they shall set forth in the second rank. |
| 17 | ¶그 다음에 회중의 성막이 레위 사람들의 진영과 함께 그 진영의 한가운데서 앞으로 나아가되 그들이 진을 치는 대로 그들이 각각 자기 위치에서 자기들의 군기 옆에서 앞으로 나아갈지니라. | Then the tabernacle of the congregation shall set forward with the camp of the Levites in the midst of the camp: as they encamp, so shall they set forward, every man in his place by their standards. |
| 18 | ¶서쪽 편에는 에브라임 진영의 군기가 그들의 군대대로 있을지니라. 에브라임의 아들들의 대장은 암미훗의 아들 엘리사마요, | On the west side shall be the standard of the camp of Ephraim according to their armies: and the captain of the sons of Ephraim shall be Elishama the son of Ammihud. |
| 19 | 그의 군대 곧 그들 중에서 계수된 자가 사만 오백 명이며 | And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were forty thousand and five hundred. |
| 20 | 그 옆에는 므낫세 지파가 있을 것이라. 므낫세 자손의 대장은 브다술의 아들 가말리엘이요, | And by him shall be the tribe of Manasseh: and the captain of the children of Manasseh shall be Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur. |
| 21 | 그의 군대 곧 그들 중에서 계수된 자가 삼만 이천이백 명이며 | And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were thirty and two thousand and two hundred. |
| 22 | 또 베냐민 지파라. 베냐민의 아들들의 대장은 기드오니의 아들 아비단이요, | Then the tribe of Benjamin: and the captain of the sons of Benjamin shall be Abidan the son of Gideoni. |
| 23 | 그의 군대 곧 그들 중에서 계수된 자가 삼만 오천사백 명이니 | And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were thirty and five thousand and four hundred. |
| 24 | 에브라임 진영에서 그들의 군대대로 두루 계수된 자는 모두 십만 팔천백 명이니라. 그들은 셋째 줄에서 앞으로 나아갈지니라. | All that were numbered of the camp of Ephraim were an hundred thousand and eight thousand and an hundred, throughout their armies. And they shall go forward in the third rank. |
| 25 | ¶북쪽 편에는 단 진영의 군기가 그들의 군대대로 있을지니라. 단 자손의 대장은 암미삿대의 아들 아히에셀이요, | The standard of the camp of Dan shall be on the north side by their armies: and the captain of the children of Dan shall be Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai. |
| 26 | 그의 군대 곧 그들 중에서 계수된 자가 육만 이천칠백 명이며 | And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were threescore and two thousand and seven hundred. |
| 27 | 그 옆에 진 칠 자들은 아셀 지파라. 아셀 자손의 대장은 오그란의 아들 바기엘이요, | And those that encamp by him shall be the tribe of Asher: and the captain of the children of Asher shall be Pagiel the son of Ocran. |
| 28 | 그의 군대 곧 그들 중에서 계수된 자가 사만 천오백 명이니라. | And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were forty and one thousand and five hundred. |
| 29 | ¶또 납달리 지파라. 납달리 자손의 대장은 에난의 아들 아히라요, | Then the tribe of Naphtali: and the captain of the children of Naphtali shall be Ahira the son of Enan. |
| 30 | 그의 군대 곧 그들 중에서 계수된 자가 오만 삼천사백 명이니 | And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were fifty and three thousand and four hundred. |
| 31 | 단 진영에서 계수된 자는 모두 십오만 칠천육백 명이니라. 그들은 자기들의 군기와 함께 맨 뒤에 갈지니라, 하시니라. | All they that were numbered in the camp of Dan were an hundred thousand and fifty and seven thousand and six hundred. They shall go hindmost with their standards. |
| 32 | ¶이들은 이스라엘 자손 중에서 그들의 조상들의 집에 따라 계수된 자들이니 여러 진영에서 그들의 군대대로 두루 계수된 자가 모두 육십만 삼천오백오십 명이더라. | These are those which were numbered of the children of Israel by the house of their fathers: all those that were numbered of the camps throughout their hosts were six hundred thousand and three thousand and five hundred and fifty. |
| 33 | 그러나 레위 사람들은 이스라엘 자손 가운데서 계수되지 아니하였으니 주께서 모세에게 명령하신 것과 같았더라. | But the Levites were not numbered among the children of Israel; as the Lord commanded Moses. |
| 34 | 이스라엘 자손이 주께서 모세에게 명령하신 모든 것에 따라 행하여 자기들의 군기 옆에 진을 치고 또 그들이 각각 자기들의 가족들과 자기들의 조상들의 집에 따라 앞으로 나아갔더라. | And the children of Israel did according to all that the Lord commanded Moses: so they pitched by their standards, and so they set forward, every one after their families, according to the house of their fathers. |
