1 주께서 모세와 아론에게 말씀하여 이르시되, And the Lord spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,
2 레위의 아들들 가운데서 고핫의 아들들의 총수를 그들의 가족들과 그들의 조상들의 집에 따라 조사하되 Take the sum of the sons of Kohath from among the sons of Levi, after their families, by the house of their fathers,
3 곧 서른 살에서 쉰 살까지 회중의 성막에서 할 일을 하기 위해 그 군대에 들어갈 모든 자의 수를 조사하라. From thirty years old and upward even until fifty years old, all that enter into the host, to do the work in the tabernacle of the congregation.
4 고핫의 아들들이 회중의 성막에서 지극히 거룩한 것들에 관하여 섬길 일은 이러하니라. This shall be the service of the sons of Kohath in the tabernacle of the congregation, about the most holy things:
5 ¶진영이 앞으로 나아갈 때에 아론과 그의 아들들이 와서 덮는 휘장을 걷어 내리고 그것으로 증언 궤를 덮고 And when the camp setteth forward, Aaron shall come, and his sons, and they shall take down the covering vail, and cover the ark of testimony with it:
6 그 위에 오소리 가죽을 덮고 그 위에 전체가 청색인 보자기를 편 뒤에 그것의 막대들을 끼우고 And shall put thereon the covering of badgers’ skins, and shall spread over it a cloth wholly of blue, and shall put in the staves thereof.
7 또 보여 주는 빵을 두는 상에 청색 보자기를 펴고 그 위에 접시들과 숟가락들과 대접들과 덮는 덮개들을 두고 또 항상 드리는 빵을 그 위에 두고 And upon the table of shewbread they shall spread a cloth of blue, and put thereon the dishes, and the spoons, and the bowls, and covers to cover withal: and the continual bread shall be thereon:
8 주홍색 보자기를 그것들 위에 펴고 바로 그것을 오소리 가죽 덮개로 덮은 뒤에 그것의 막대들을 끼우고 And they shall spread upon them a cloth of scarlet, and cover the same with a covering of badgers’ skins, and shall put in the staves thereof.
9 또 청색 보자기를 취하여 빛을 발하는 등잔대와 등잔대의 등잔들과 부집게들과 불똥 그릇들과 및 그들이 등잔대를 위해 사용하는 등잔대의 모든 기름 기구를 덮고 And they shall take a cloth of blue, and cover the candlestick of the light, and his lamps, and his tongs, and his snuffdishes, and all the oil vessels thereof, wherewith they minister unto it:
10 등잔대와 그것의 모든 기구를 오소리 가죽 덮개 안에 넣어 가로 막대기 위에 두고 And they shall put it and all the vessels thereof within a covering of badgers’ skins, and shall put it upon a bar.
11 또 금 제단 위에 청색 보자기를 펴고 그것을 오소리 가죽 덮개로 덮고 그것의 막대들을 끼우고 And upon the golden altar they shall spread a cloth of blue, and cover it with a covering of badgers’ skins, and shall put to the staves thereof:
12 또 그들이 성소에서 섬길 때 쓰는 기구 곧 섬기는 데 쓸 모든 기구를 취하여 청색 보자기에 싸서 오소리 가죽 덮개로 덮고 가로 막대기 위에 둘지니라. And they shall take all the instruments of ministry, wherewith they minister in the sanctuary, and put them in a cloth of blue, and cover them with a covering of badgers’ skins, and shall put them on a bar:
13 또 그들이 제단의 재를 버리고 그 제단 위에 자주색 보자기를 펴고 And they shall take away the ashes from the altar, and spread a purple cloth thereon:
14 그들이 제단에서 섬길 때 쓰는 제단의 모든 기구 곧 향로들과 고기 갈고리들과 부삽들과 대야들과 제단의 모든 기구를 그 위에 두고 오소리 가죽덮개를 그 위에 펴고 그것의 막대들을 끼울지니라. And they shall put upon it all the vessels thereof, wherewith they minister about it, even the censers, the fleshhooks, and the shovels, and the basons, all the vessels of the altar; and they shall spread upon it a covering of badgers’ skins, and put to the staves of it.
15 진영이 앞으로 나아갈 때에 아론과 그의 아들들이 성소와 성소의 모든 기구 덮는 것을 끝마치거든 그 뒤에 고핫의 아들들이 와서 그것을 나를지니라. 그러나 그들이 거룩한 것은 아무것도 만지지 말지니 그들이 죽을까 염려하노라. 회중의 성막에 있는 이것들이 고핫의 아들들이 나를 짐이니라. And when Aaron and his sons have made an end of covering the sanctuary, and all the vessels of the sanctuary, as the camp is to set forward; after that, the sons of Kohath shall come to bear it: but they shall not touch any holy thing, lest they die. These things are the burden of the sons of Kohath in the tabernacle of the congregation.
16 ¶제사장 아론의 아들 엘르아살의 직무는 등잔 기름과 향기로운 향과 날마다 드리는 음식 헌물과 기름 부음에 쓸 기름을 맡는 것이며 또 성막 전체와 그 안의 모든 것과 성소와 그것의 모든 기구를 감독하는 것이라. And to the office of Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest pertaineth the oil for the light, and the sweet incense, and the daily meat offering, and the anointing oil, and the oversight of all the tabernacle, and of all that therein is, in the sanctuary, and in the vessels thereof.
17 ¶주께서 모세와 아론에게 말씀하여 이르시되, And the Lord spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,
18 너희는 레위 사람들 가운데서 고핫 족속 가족들의 지파가 끊어지지 않게 하되 Cut ye not off the tribe of the families of the Kohathites from among the Levites:
19 그들이 지극히 거룩한 것들에 다가갈 때에 죽지 않고 살게 하기 위하여 그들에게 이와 같이 할지니 곧 아론과 그의 아들들이 들어가서 그들 각 사람에게 각각의 섬길 일과 나를 짐을 정해 줄지니라. But thus do unto them, that they may live, and not die, when they approach unto the most holy things: Aaron and his sons shall go in, and appoint them every one to his service and to his burden:
20 그러나 그들은 거룩한 것들을 덮을 때에 들어가서 보지 말지니 그들이 죽을까 염려하노라. But they shall not go in to see when the holy things are covered, lest they die.
21 ¶주께서 모세에게 말씀하여 이르시되, And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
22 게르손의 아들들의 총수도 그들의 조상들의 집들과 그들의 가족들에 따라 조사하되 Take also the sum of the sons of Gershon, throughout the houses of their fathers, by their families;
23 너는 서른 살에서 쉰 살까지 회중의 성막에서 할 일을 하기 위해 곧 섬기는 일을 하기 위해 들어갈 모든 자를 계수하라. From thirty years old and upward until fifty years old shalt thou number them; all that enter in to perform the service, to do the work in the tabernacle of the congregation.
24 게르손 족속의 가족들이 섬길 일과 나를 짐은 이러하니 This is the service of the families of the Gershonites, to serve, and for burdens:
25 곧 그들은 성막의 앙장들과 회중의 성막과 그것의 덮개와 그것 위에 있는 오소리 가죽 덮개와 회중의 성막 문의 현수막을 나르며 And they shall bear the curtains of the tabernacle, and the tabernacle of the congregation, his covering, and the covering of the badgers’ skins that is above upon it, and the hanging for the door of the tabernacle of the congregation,
26 또 뜰의 현수막들과 또 성막 옆과 제단 옆 사방에 있는 뜰의 바깥문의 문에 칠 현수막과 그것들의 줄들과 그들이 섬기는 일에 쓰는 모든 기구와 그것들을 위해 만든 모든 것을 나를지니 그들이 이와 같이 섬길지니라. And the hangings of the court, and the hanging for the door of the gate of the court, which is by the tabernacle and by the altar round about, and their cords, and all the instruments of their service, and all that is made for them: so shall they serve.
27 게르손 족속의 아들들이 섬길 모든 일 곧 그들의 모든 짐과 섬기는 일은 아론과 그의 아들들이 정하는 대로 될 것이니 너희는 그들이 맡을 모든 짐을 그들에게 책무로 정해 줄지니라. At the appointment of Aaron and his sons shall be all the service of the sons of the Gershonites, in all their burdens, and in all their service: and ye shall appoint unto them in charge all their burdens.
28 게르손의 아들들의 가족들이 회중의 성막에서 섬길 일이 이러하며 그들의 책무는 제사장 아론의 아들 이다말의 손 밑에서 이루어질지니라. This is the service of the families of the sons of Gershon in the tabernacle of the congregation: and their charge shall be under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest.
29 ¶므라리의 아들들에 관하여는 네가 그들을 그들의 가족들과 그들의 조상들의 집에 따라 계수하되 As for the sons of Merari, thou shalt number them after their families, by the house of their fathers;
30 서른 살에서 쉰 살까지 회중의 성막의 일을 하기 위해 섬기러 들어갈 모든 자를 계수하라. From thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old shalt thou number them, every one that entereth into the service, to do the work of the tabernacle of the congregation.
31 그들이 회중의 성막에서 자기들이 섬기는 모든 일에 따라 짐으로 맡은 책무가 이러하니 곧 성막의 널빤지들과 그것의 가로 막대기들과 기둥들과 밑받침들과 And this is the charge of their burden, according to all their service in the tabernacle of the congregation; the boards of the tabernacle, and the bars thereof, and the pillars thereof, and sockets thereof,
32 뜰 둘레의 기둥들과 그것들의 밑받침들과 말뚝들과 줄들과 모든 기구와 또 그들이 섬기는 모든 것이라. 너희는 그들이 짐으로, 책무로 맡은 기구들을 이름대로 셀지니라. And the pillars of the court round about, and their sockets, and their pins, and their cords, with all their instruments, and with all their service: and by name ye shall reckon the instruments of the charge of their burden.
33 이것은 제사장 아론의 아들 이다말의 손 밑에서 므라리의 아들들의 가족들이 자기들이 섬기는 모든 일에 따라 회중의 성막에서 섬길 일이니라. This is the service of the families of the sons of Merari, according to all their service, in the tabernacle of the congregation, under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest.
34 ¶모세와 아론과 회중의 우두머리들이 고핫의 아들들을 그들의 가족들과 그들의 조상들의 집에 따라 계수하니 And Moses and Aaron and the chief of the congregation numbered the sons of the Kohathites after their families, and after the house of their fathers,
35 서른 살에서 쉰 살까지 회중의 성막에서 할 일을 위하여 섬기러 들어갈 모든 자 From thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every one that entereth into the service, for the work in the tabernacle of the congregation:
36 곧 그들의 가족들에 따라 그들 중에서 계수된 자가 이천칠백오십 명이더라. And those that were numbered of them by their families were two thousand seven hundred and fifty.
37 이들은 고핫 족속의 가족들 중에서 계수되어 회중의 성막에서 섬기는 일을 할 모든 자들로서 모세와 아론이 주의 명령에 따라 모세의 손으로 계수한 자들이더라. These were they that were numbered of the families of the Kohathites, all that might do service in the tabernacle of the congregation, which Moses and Aaron did number according to the commandment of the Lord by the hand of Moses.
38 게르손의 아들들 중에서 두루 그들의 가족들과 그들의 조상들의 집에 따라 계수된 자는 And those that were numbered of the sons of Gershon, throughout their families, and by the house of their fathers,
39 서른 살에서 쉰 살까지 회중의 성막에서 할 일을 위하여 섬기러 들어갈 모든 자니 From thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every one that entereth into the service, for the work in the tabernacle of the congregation,
40 곧 두루 그들의 가족들과 그들의 조상들의 집에 따라 그들 중에서 계수된 자가 이천육백삼십 명이더라. Even those that were numbered of them, throughout their families, by the house of their fathers, were two thousand and six hundred and thirty.
41 이들은 게르손의 아들들의 가족들 중에서 계수되어 회중의 성막에서 섬기는 일을 할 모든 자들로서 모세와 아론이 주의 명령에 따라 계수한 자들이니라. These are they that were numbered of the families of the sons of Gershon, of all that might do service in the tabernacle of the congregation, whom Moses and Aaron did number according to the commandment of the Lord.
42 ¶므라리의 아들들의 가족들 중에서 두루 그들의 가족들과 그들의 조상들의 집에 따라 계수된 자는 And those that were numbered of the families of the sons of Merari, throughout their families, by the house of their fathers,
43 서른 살에서 쉰 살까지 회중의 성막에서 할 일을 위하여 섬기러 들어가는 모든 자니 From thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every one that entereth into the service, for the work in the tabernacle of the congregation,
44 곧 그들의 가족들에 따라 그들 중에서 계수된 자가 삼천이백 명이더라. Even those that were numbered of them after their families, were three thousand and two hundred.
45 이들은 므라리의 아들들의 가족들 중에서 계수된 자들로서 곧 모세와 아론이 주의 말씀에 따라 모세의 손으로 계수한 자들이니라. These be those that were numbered of the families of the sons of Merari, whom Moses and Aaron numbered according to the word of the Lord by the hand of Moses.
46 레위 사람들 중에서 계수된 모든 자 곧 모세와 아론과 이스라엘의 우두머리들이 그들의 가족들과 그들의 조상들의 집에 따라 계수한 자 All those that were numbered of the Levites, whom Moses and Aaron and the chief of Israel numbered, after their families, and after the house of their fathers,
47 즉 서른 살에서 쉰 살까지 회중의 성막에서 섬기는 일로 섬기며 또 짐을 맡아 섬기는 일을 하려고 온 모든 자 From thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every one that came to do the service of the ministry, and the service of the burden in the tabernacle of the congregation,
48 곧 그들 중에서 계수된 자가 팔천오백팔십 명이더라. Even those that were numbered of them, were eight thousand and five hundred and fourscore.
49 그들이 주의 명령에 따라 저마다 자기의 섬기는 일과 맡은 짐에 따라 모세의 손으로 계수되었으니 곧 주께서 모세에게 명령하신 대로 그들이 그에 의해 그와 같이 계수되었더라. According to the commandment of the Lord they were numbered by the hand of Moses, every one according to his service, and according to his burden: thus were they numbered of him, as the Lord commanded Moses.
