1	[아삽의 찬양시] 하느님, 침묵을 깨소서. 잠잠하지도 쉬지도 마소서, 하느님.	Keep not thou silence, O God: hold not thy peace, and be not still, O God.
2	당신의 적들이 소리 높이 떠들고 당신의 원수들이 머리를 치켜 듭니다.	For, lo, thine enemies make a tumult: and they that hate thee have lifted up the head.
3	당신 백성을 거슬러 음모를 꾸미고 당신 보호 아래 있는 자들을 거슬러 공모하며	They have taken crafty counsel against thy people, and consulted against thy hidden ones.
4	"같이 가서 그들의 나라를 쳐부수자. 이스라엘은 그 이름마저 남기지 말자." 합니다.	They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.
5	그들은 모두 한속으로 공모하여 당신을 치려고 손을 잡았습니다.	For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against thee:
6	에돔, 이스마엘, 모압, 하갈족,	The tabernacles of Edom, and the Ishmaelites; of Moab, and the Hagarenes;
7	그발, 암몬, 아말렉, 불레셋, 거기에 띠로 시민들,	Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek; the Philistines with the inhabitants of Tyre;
8	아시리아까지 합세하여 롯의 자손들과 손을 잡았습니다. (셀라)	Assur also is joined with them: they have holpen the children of Lot. Selah.
9	일찍이 미디안과 시스라를 치셨듯이 키손 강에서 야빈을 치셨듯이 그들을 치소서.	Do unto them as unto the Midianites; as to Sisera, as to Jabin, at the brook of Kison:
10	그들은 엔돌에서 전멸하여 땅바닥의 거름이 되었사옵니다.	Which perished at En–dor: they became as dung for the earth.
11	적장들을 오렙과 즈엡처럼, 추장들을 제바와 살문나처럼 만드소서.	Make their nobles like Oreb, and like Zeeb: yea, all their princes as Zebah, and as Zalmunna:
12	"하느님의 목장들은 우리 것이다. 가서 빼앗자." 하고 뇌까리던 그들이옵니다.	Who said, Let us take to ourselves the houses of God in possession.
13	나의 하느님, 저들을 흩으소서. 바람에 굴러가는 엉겅퀴의 도가머리처럼,	O my God, make them like a wheel; as the stubble before the wind.
14	바람에 흩날리는 초개와 같이 숲을 사르는 불길과 같이 산들을 휩쓰는 불꽃과 같이	As the fire burneth a wood, and as the flame setteth the mountains on fire;
15	당신의 회리바람으로 저들을 쓸어가소서. 돌풍으로 저들을 어지럽게 하소서.	So persecute them with thy tempest, and make them afraid with thy storm.
16	저들이 당신의 이름을 부르기까지 야훼여, 그 얼굴에 부끄러움을 씌워주소서.	Fill their faces with shame; that they may seek thy name, O Lord.
17	어이없고 겁에 질려 다시는 일어나지 못하게 하시고 수모를 당하여 멸망하게 하소서.	Let them be confounded and troubled for ever; yea, let them be put to shame, and perish:
18	온 세상에 지극히 높으신 분, 당신의 이름만이 야훼이신 줄을 알게 하소서.	That men may know that thou, whose name alone is Jehovah, art the most high over all the earth.
