| 1 | တဖန်ထာဝရဘုရားက၊ အနန္တတန်ခိုးရှင်ကို ဆုံးမသော သူသည် ဆန့်ကျင်ဘက်ပြုဦးမလော။ | Moreover the Lord answered Job, and said, |
| 2 | ဘုရားသခင်ကို အပြစ်တင်သော သူသည် ပြန်ပြောစေတော့ဟု ယောဘအား မိန့်တော်မူလျှင်၊ | Shall he that contendeth with the Almighty instruct him? he that reproveth God, let him answer it. |
| 3 | ယောဘက အကျွန်ုပ်သည် ဆိုးယုတ်ပါ၏။ | Then Job answered the Lord, and said, |
| 4 | ကိုယ်တော်အား အဘယ်သို့ ပြန်လျှောက်ရပါမည်နည်း။ အကျွန်ုပ်သည် ကိုယ်နှုတ်ကို ကိုယ်လက်နှင့် ပိတ်ပါမည်။ | Behold, I am vile; what shall I answer thee? I will lay mine hand upon my mouth. |
| 5 | တကြိမ်ပြောမိပါပြီ။ တဖန်မပြောဝံ့ပါ။ နှစ်ကြိမ်တိုင်အောင် ပြောမိပါပြီ။ သို့ရာတွင် ထပ်၍မပြောဝံ့ပါဟု ထာဝရဘုရားအား ပြန်၍ လျှောက်လေ၏။ | Once have I spoken; but I will not answer: yea, twice; but I will proceed no further. |
| 6 | တဖန်ထာဝရဘုရားသည် မိုဃ်းသက်မုန်တိုင်း ထဲက ယောဘအား မိန့်တော်မူသည်ကား၊ | Then answered the Lord unto Job out of the whirlwind, and said, |
| 7 | လူယောက်ျားကဲ့သို့ သင်၏ခါးကိုစည်းလော့။ ငါမေးမြန်း သောပြဿနာတို့ကို ဖြေလော့။ | Gird up thy loins now like a man: I will demand of thee, and declare thou unto me. |
| 8 | သင်သည် ငါတရားစီရင်ချက်ကို ပယ်မည်လော။ သင်သည် ကိုယ်တိုင်ဖြောင့်မတ်ဟန်ရှိစေခြင်းငှါ၊ ငါကိုအပြစ်ရှိသည်ဟု စီရင်မည်လော။ | Wilt thou also disannul my judgment? wilt thou condemn me, that thou mayest be righteous? |
| 9 | သင်သည်ဘုရားသခင်၏ လက်ရုံးကဲ့သို့သော လက်ရုံးရှိသလော။ ဘုရားသခင်၏ အသံကဲ့သို့သော အသံနှင့် မိုဃ်းချုန်းနိုင်သလော။ | Hast thou an arm like God? or canst thou thunder with a voice like him? |
| 10 | ထူးဆန်းသော ဘုန်းတန်ခိုးအာနုဘော်ကို ဝတ်ဆောင်လော့။ တင့်တယ်သော ဂုဏ်အသရေနှင့် တန်ဆာဆင်လော့။ | Deck thyself now with majesty and excellency; and array thyself with glory and beauty. |
| 11 | သင်၏အမျက်အရှိန်ကို လွှတ်လော့။ မာန ထောင်လွှားသောသူအပေါင်းတို့ကို ကြည့်ရှု၍ နှိမ့်ချ လော့။ | Cast abroad the rage of thy wrath: and behold every one that is proud, and abase him. |
| 12 | မာနထောင်လွှားသော သူအပေါင်းတို့ကို ကြည့်ရှု၍ ရှုတ်ချလော့။ အဓမ္မလူတို့ကို နှိပ်နင်း၍၊ | Look on every one that is proud, and bring him low; and tread down the wicked in their place. |
| 13 | သူတို့ကိုမြေမှုန့်၌ တစုတည်း ဝှက်ထားလော့။ သူတို့မျက်နှာများကို မှောင်မိုက်၌ ဖုံးအုပ်လော့။ | Hide them in the dust together; and bind their faces in secret. |
| 14 | သို့ပြုလျှင် သင်၏လက်ျာလက်ရုံးသည် သင့်ကို ကယ်တင်နိုင်သည်ဟု ငါဝန်ခံမည်။ | Then will I also confess unto thee that thine own right hand can save thee. |
| 15 | သင်နှင့်အတူ ငါဖန်ဆင်းသော ဗေဟမုတ်ခြင်း ကို ကြည့်ရှုလော့။ နွားကဲ့သို့ မြက်ကို စားတတ်၏။ | Behold now behemoth, which I made with thee; he eateth grass as an ox. |
| 16 | သူ၏တန်ခိုးသည် ခါး၌၎င်း၊ သူ၏ခွန်အားသည် ဝမ်းကြော၌၎င်း တည်လျက်ရှိ၏။ | Lo now, his strength is in his loins, and his force is in the navel of his belly. |
| 17 | သူ့အမြီးသည် အာရဇ်ပင်ကဲ့သို့ လှုပ်တတ်၏။ ပေါင်ကြောတို့သည် အထပ်ထပ်ရှိကြ၏။ | He moveth his tail like a cedar: the sinews of his stones are wrapped together. |
| 18 | အရိုးငယ်တို့သည် ကြေးဝါချောင်း၊ အရိုးကြီး တို့သည် သံတုံးကဲ့သို့ဖြစ်ကြ၏။ | His bones are as strong pieces of brass; his bones are like bars of iron. |
| 19 | ဘုရားသခင်ဖန်ဆင်းသော သတ္တဝါတို့တွင် ထူးဆန်းသော သတ္တဝါဖြစ်၏။ သူ့ကိုဖန်ဆင်းသော ဘုရားသာလျှင် သူ၏တံစဉ်ကို ပေးပြီ။ | He is the chief of the ways of God: he that made him can make his sword to approach unto him. |
| 20 | မြေတိရစ္ဆာန်အပေါင်းတို့ ကစားရာတောင်ရိုး သည် သူ၏ကျက်စားရာအရပ်ဖြစ်၏။ | Surely the mountains bring him forth food, where all the beasts of the field play. |
| 21 | အရိပ်ကောင်းသော အပင်အောက်၊ ကျူပင် ချုံဖုတ်အောက်၊ ရေများသောအရပ်၌ နေတတ်၏။ | He lieth under the shady trees, in the covert of the reed, and fens. |
| 22 | ထိုအပင်တို့သည် အရိပ်နှင့်လွှမ်းမိုး၍ ချောင်း နားမိုဃ်းမခပင်တို့သည် ဝိုင်းကြ၏။ | The shady trees cover him with their shadow; the willows of the brook compass him about. |
| 23 | မြစ်ရေထသော်လည်း သူသည်မပြေးတတ်။ သူ၏ခံတွင်းကို ယော်ဒန်မြစ်ရေ ဝှေ့တိုက်သော်လည်း မတုန်မလှုပ်ဘဲ နေတတ်၏။ | Behold, he drinketh up a river, and hasteth not: he trusteth that he can draw up Jordan into his mouth. |
| 24 | ထိုမြင်းကို ထင်ရှားစွာ ဘမ်းယူမည်လော။ သူ၏နှာခေါင်းကို သံချိတ်နှင့် ဖောက်မည်လော။ | He taketh it with his eyes: his nose pierceth through snares. |
