| 1 | ငါ့ကိုမစခြင်း အကြောင်းသည် ပေါ်ထွက်ရ သော တောင်ရိုးသို့ ငါမျှော်ကြည့်၏။ | I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. |
| 2 | ကော်းကင်နှင့်မြေကြီးကို ဖန်ဆင်းတော်မူသော ထာဝရဘုရား ထံတော်မှ၊ ငါ့ကို မစခြင်းအကြောင်းသည် ပေါ်ထွက်ရ၏။ | My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth. |
| 3 | သင်၏ ခြေကို ချော်စေခြင်းငှါ အခွင့်ပေးတော် မမူ။ သင့်ကို စောင့်သောသူသည် အိပ်တော်မမူ။ | He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. |
| 4 | အကယ်စင်စစ် ဣသရေလအမျိုးကို စောင့် သောသူသည် ငိုက်မျဉ်းအိပ်ပျော်ခြင်း ရှိတော်မမူ။ | Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. |
| 5 | ထာဝရဘုရားသည် သင့်ကို စောင့်တော်မူ၏။ ထာဝရဘုရားသည် သင်၏လက်ျာဘက်၌ရှိသော သင်ခိုလှုံရာ အရိပ်ဖြစ်တော်မူ၏။ | The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand. |
| 6 | နေ့အချိန်၌ နေအားဖြင့်၎င်း၊ ညဉ့်အချိန်၌ လအားဖြင့်၎င်း အထိအခိုက်မရှိရာ။ | The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. |
| 7 | ထာဝရဘုရားသည် မကောင်းသောအမှုအရာ အလုံးစုံတို့ကို ကွယ်ကာ၍၊ သင်၏အသက်ကို စောင့်တော် မူလိမ့်မည်။ | The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. |
| 8 | ထာဝရဘုရားသည် သင်၏ ထွက်ခြင်းနှင့် ဝင်ခြင်းတို့ကို ယခုမှစ၍ အစဉ်အပြတ် စောင့်တော်မူ လိမ့်မည်။ | The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore. |
