| 1 | 兄弟等よ、人若誘はれて過つ事ありとも、汝等は霊に導かるる者なれば、己も亦誘はるる事あるべきを省みて、柔和なる精神を以て之を改善せしめよ。 | Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted. |
| 2 | 汝等は互の荷を負へ、然らばキリストの律法を全うすべし。 | Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ. |
| 3 | 蓋人何者にも非ざるに、何者かなりと思ふは自ら欺くなり。 | For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself. |
| 4 | 各己が行状を試し見よ、然らば他人に對して誇らず、己のみによりて誇るならん、 | But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another. |
| 5 | 其は人各己が荷を負ふべければなり。 | For every man shall bear his own burden. |
| 6 | 教を學ぶ人は、學ばしむる人に一切の所有物の内を分與へよ。 | Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things. |
| 7 | 自ら欺く勿れ、神は侮られ給ふものに非ず、 | Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. |
| 8 | 人は其撒きし所を刈取らん、即ち己が肉の為に蒔く人は、又肉より腐敗を刈取り、霊の為に撒く人は、又霊より永遠の生命を刈取らん。 | For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. |
| 9 | 我等は善を為すに倦むべからず、其は時機至らば、倦まずして刈取るべければなり。 | And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. |
| 10 | 然れば暇ある間は、我等は衆人特に信仰の家人に善を為すべし。 | As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith. |
| 11 | 看よ、我手づから如何なる大字にて汝等に書贈れるかを。 | Ye see how large a letter I have written unto you with mine own hand. |
| 12 | 凡肉に於て人心を獲んと欲する人は、強ひて汝等に割禮を受けしむ、是唯キリストの十字架によりて迫害を受けざらん為のみ。 | As many as desire to make a fair shew in the flesh, they constrain you to be circumcised; only lest they should suffer persecution for the cross of Christ. |
| 13 | 斯く割禮を受くる人々が、自ら律法を守らずして汝等に割禮を受けしめんとするは、汝等の肉身に就きて誇らん為なり。 | For neither they themselves who are circumcised keep the law; but desire to have you circumcised, that they may glory in your flesh. |
| 14 | 我は我主イエズス、キリストの十字架に於ての外は決して誇る事なかるべし。彼を以て世は我に取りて十字架に釘けられたるものにして、我が世に於るも亦然り。 | But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world. |
| 15 | 蓋キリスト、イエズスに於て價値あるは、割禮に非ず無割禮に非ず、新なる被造物なり。 | For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature. |
| 16 | 誰にもあれ、此法に從へる人々の上に、冀はくは平安と慈悲とあれかし、神のイスラエルの上にも亦然あれかし。 | And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God. |
| 17 | 今より後誰も我を煩はすべからず、其は我主イエズスの傷痕を身に負へばなり。 | From henceforth let no man trouble me: for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus. |
| 18 | 兄弟等よ、願はくは我主イエズス、キリストの恩寵、汝等の霊と共に在らん事を、アメン。 | Brethren, the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen. Unto the Galatians written from Rome. |
