| 2 | エルサレムよ、われらの足はあなたの門のうちに立っている。 | Our feet shall stand within thy gates, O Jerusalem. |
| 3 | しげくつらなった町のように建てられているエルサレムよ、 | Jerusalem is builded as a city that is compact together: |
| 4 | もろもろの部族すなわち主の部族が、そこに上って来て主のみ名に感謝することは、イスラエルのおきてである。 | Whither the tribes go up, the tribes of the Lord, unto the testimony of Israel, to give thanks unto the name of the Lord. |
| 5 | そこにさばきの座、ダビデの家の王座が設けられてあった。 | For there are set thrones of judgment, the thrones of the house of David. |
| 6 | エルサレムのために平安を祈れ、「エルサレムを愛する者は栄え、 | Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee. |
| 7 | その城壁のうちに平安があり、もろもろの殿のうちに安全があるように」と。 | Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces. |
| 8 | わが兄弟および友のために、わたしは「エルサレムのうちに平安があるように」と言い、 | For my brethren and companions’ sakes, I will now say, Peace be within thee. |
| 9 | われらの神、主の家のために、わたしはエルサレムのさいわいを求めるであろう。 | Because of the house of the Lord our God I will seek thy good. |
