| 1 | ヱホバよ仇をかへすは汝にあり神よあたを報すはなんぢにあり ねがはくは光をはなちたまへ | O Lord God, to whom vengeance belongeth; O God, to whom vengeance belongeth, shew thyself. |
| 2 | 世をさばきたまふものよ 願くは起てたかぶる者にそのうくべき報をなしたまへ | Lift up thyself, thou judge of the earth: render a reward to the proud. |
| 3 | ヱホバよ惡きもの幾何のときを經んとするや あしきもの勝誇りていくそのとしを經るや | Lord, how long shall the wicked, how long shall the wicked triumph? |
| 4 | かれらはみだりに言をいだして誇りものいふ すべて不義をおこなふ者はみづから高ぶれり | How long shall they utter and speak hard things? and all the workers of iniquity boast themselves? |
| 5 | ヱホバよ彼等はなんぢの民をうちくだき なんぢの業をそこなふ | They break in pieces thy people, O Lord, and afflict thine heritage. |
| 6 | かれらは嫠婦と旅人との生命をうしなひ孤子をころす | They slay the widow and the stranger, and murder the fatherless. |
| 7 | かれらはいふ ヤハは見ずヤコブの神はさとらざるべしと | Yet they say, The Lord shall not see, neither shall the God of Jacob regard it. |
| 8 | 民のなかなる無知よ なんぢらさとれ 愚かなる者よ いづれのときにか智からん | Understand, ye brutish among the people: and ye fools, when will ye be wise? |
| 9 | みみを植るものきくことをせざらんや 目をつくれるもの見ることをせざらんや | He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? he that formed the eye, shall he not see? |
| 10 | もろもろの國ををしふる者ただすことを爲ざらんや 人に知識をあたふる者しることなからんや | He that chastiseth the heathen, shall not he correct? he that teacheth man knowledge, shall not he know? |
| 11 | ヱホバは人の思念のむなしきを知りたまふ | The Lord knoweth the thoughts of man, that they are vanity. |
| 12 | ヤハよなんぢの懲めたまふ人なんぢの法ををしへらるる人は さいはひなるかな | Blessed is the man whom thou chastenest, O Lord, and teachest him out of thy law; |
| 13 | かかる人をわざはひの日よりのがれしめ 惡きもののために坑のほらるるまで これに平安をあたへたまはん | That thou mayest give him rest from the days of adversity, until the pit be digged for the wicked. |
| 14 | そはヱホバその民をすてたまはず その嗣業をはなれたまはざるなり | For the Lord will not cast off his people, neither will he forsake his inheritance. |
| 15 | 審判はただしきにかへり心のなほき者はみなその後にしたがはん | But judgment shall return unto righteousness: and all the upright in heart shall follow it. |
| 16 | 誰かわがために起りたちて惡きものを責んや 誰か我がために立て不義をおこなふ者をせめんや | Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? or who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity? |
| 17 | もしヱホバ我をたすけたまはざりせば わが霊魂はとくに幽寂ところに住ひしならん | Unless the Lord had been my help, my soul had almost dwelt in silence. |
| 18 | されどわが足すべりぬといひしとき ヱホバよなんぢの憐憫われをささへたまへり | When I said, My foot slippeth; thy mercy, O Lord, held me up. |
| 19 | わがうちに憂慮のみつる時 なんぢの安慰わがたましひを喜ばせたまふ | In the multitude of my thoughts within me thy comforts delight my soul. |
| 20 | 律法をもて害ふことをはかる惡の位はなんぢに親むことを得んや | Shall the throne of iniquity have fellowship with thee, which frameth mischief by a law? |
| 21 | 彼等はあひかたらひて義人のたましひをせめ罪なき血をつみに定む | They gather themselves together against the soul of the righteous, and condemn the innocent blood. |
| 22 | 然はあれどヱホバはわがたかき櫓 わが神はわが避所の磐なりき | But the Lord is my defence; and my God is the rock of my refuge. |
| 23 | 神はかれらの邪曲をその身におはしめ かれらをその惡き事のなかに滅したまはん われらの神ヱホバはこれを滅したまはん | And he shall bring upon them their own iniquity, and shall cut them off in their own wickedness; yea, the Lord our God shall cut them off. |
