1 神はユダにしられたまへり その名はイスラエルに大なり In Judah is God known: his name is great in Israel.
2 またサレムの中にその幕屋あり その居所はシオンにあり In Salem also is his tabernacle, and his dwelling place in Zion.
3 彼所にてかれは弓の火矢ををり盾と劍と戰陣とをやぶりたまひき セラ There brake he the arrows of the bow, the shield, and the sword, and the battle. Selah.
4 なんぢ榮光あり掠めうばふ山よりもたふとし Thou art more glorious and excellent than the mountains of prey.
5 心のつよきものは掠めらる かれらは睡にしづみ勇ましきものは皆その手を見うしなへり The stouthearted are spoiled, they have slept their sleep: and none of the men of might have found their hands.
6 ヤコブの神よなんぢの叱咤によりて戰車と馬とともに深睡につけり At thy rebuke, O God of Jacob, both the chariot and horse are cast into a dead sleep.
7 神よなんぢこそ懼るべきものなれ 一たび怒りたまふときは誰かみまへに立えんや Thou, even thou, art to be feared: and who may stand in thy sight when once thou art angry?
8 なんぢ天より宣告をのりたまへり 地のへりくだる者をみなすくはんとて神のさばきに立たまへるとき地はおそれて默したり セラ Thou didst cause judgment to be heard from heaven; the earth feared, and was still,
9 なんぢ天より宣告をのりたまへり 地のへりくだる者をみなすくはんとて神のさばきに立たまへるとき地はおそれて默したり セラ When God arose to judgment, to save all the meek of the earth. Selah.
10 實に人のいかりは汝をほむべし 怒のあまりは汝おのれの帶としたまはん Surely the wrath of man shall praise thee: the remainder of wrath shalt thou restrain.
11 なんぢの神ヱホバにちかひをたてて償へ そのまはりなるすべての者はおそるべきヱホバに禮物をささぐべし Vow, and pay unto the Lord your God: let all that be round about him bring presents unto him that ought to be feared.
12 ヱホバはもろもろの諸侯のたましひを絶たまはん ヱホバは地の王たちのおそるべき者なり He shall cut off the spirit of princes: he is terrible to the kings of the earth.
