| 1 | 神よわがなげくときわが聲をききたまへ わが生命をまもりて仇のおそれより脱かれしめたまへ | Hear my voice, O God, in my prayer: preserve my life from fear of the enemy. |
| 2 | ねがはくは汝われをかくして惡をなすものの陰かなる謀略よりまぬかれしめ不義をおこなふものの喧嘩よりまぬかれしめ給へ | Hide me from the secret counsel of the wicked; from the insurrection of the workers of iniquity: |
| 3 | かれらは劍のごとくおのが舌をとぎ その弓をはり矢をつがへるごとく苦言をはなち | Who whet their tongue like a sword, and bend their bows to shoot their arrows, even bitter words: |
| 4 | 隠れたるところにて全者を射んとす俄かにこれを射ておそるることなし | That they may shoot in secret at the perfect: suddenly do they shoot at him, and fear not. |
| 5 | また彼此にあしき企圖をはげまし共にはかりてひそかに羂をまうく 斯ていふ誰かわれらを見んと | They encourage themselves in an evil matter: they commune of laying snares privily; they say, Who shall see them? |
| 6 | かれらはさまざまの不義をたづねいだして云われらは懇ろにたづね終れりと おのおのの衷のおもひと心とはふかし | They search out iniquities; they accomplish a diligent search: both the inward thought of every one of them, and the heart, is deep. |
| 7 | 然はあれど神は矢にてかれらを射たまふべし かれらは俄かに傷をうけん | But God shall shoot at them with an arrow; suddenly shall they be wounded. |
| 8 | 斯てかれらの舌は其身にさからふがゆゑに遂にかれらは蹟かん これを見るものみな逃れさるべし | So they shall make their own tongue to fall upon themselves: all that see them shall flee away. |
| 9 | もろもろの人はおそれん而して神のみわざをのべつたへ その作たまへることを考ふべし | And all men shall fear, and shall declare the work of God; for they shall wisely consider of his doing. |
| 10 | 義者はヱホバをよろこびて之によりたのまん すべて心のなほきものは皆ほこることを得ん | The righteous shall be glad in the Lord, and shall trust in him; and all the upright in heart shall glory. |
