| 1 | ああヱホバよ助けたまへ そは神をうやまふ人はたえ誠あるものは人の子のなかより消失るなり | Help, Lord; for the godly man ceaseth; for the faithful fail from among the children of men. |
| 2 | 人はみな虚偽をもてその隣とあひかたり滑なるくちびると貳心とをもてものいふ | They speak vanity every one with his neighbour: with flattering lips and with a double heart do they speak. |
| 3 | ヱホバはすべての滑なるくちびると大なる言をかたる舌とをほろぼし給はん | The Lord shall cut off all flattering lips, and the tongue that speaketh proud things: |
| 4 | かれらはいふ われら舌をもて勝をえん この口唇はわがものなり誰かわれらに主たらんやと | Who have said, With our tongue will we prevail; our lips are our own: who is lord over us? |
| 5 | ヱホバのたまはく 苦しむもの掠められ貧しきもの歎くがゆゑに我いま起てこれをその慕ひもとむる平安におかん | For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy, now will I arise, saith the Lord; I will set him in safety from him that puffeth at him. |
| 6 | ヱホバの言はきよきことばなり 地にまうけたる爐にてねり七次きよめたる白銀のごとし | The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. |
| 7 | ヱホバよ汝はかれらをまもり之をたすけてとこしへにこの類より免れしめたまはん | Thou shalt keep them, O Lord, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever. |
| 8 | 人の子のなかに穢しきことの崇めらるるときは惡者ここやかしこにあるくなり | The wicked walk on every side, when the vilest men are exalted. |
