| 1 | ヱホバよ榮光をわれらに歸するなかれ われらに歸するなかれ なんぢのあはれみと汝のまこととの故によりてただ名にのみ歸したまへ | Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy mercy, and for thy truth’s sake. |
| 2 | もろもろの國人はいかなればいふ 今かれらの神はいづくにありやと | Wherefore should the heathen say, Where is now their God? |
| 3 | 然どわれらの神は天にいます 神はみこころのままにすべての事をおこなひ給へり | But our God is in the heavens: he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased. |
| 4 | かれらの偶像はしろかねと金にして人の手のわざなり | Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men’s hands. |
| 5 | その偶像は口あれどいはず目あれどみず | They have mouths, but they speak not: eyes have they, but they see not: |
| 6 | 耳あれどきかず鼻あれどかがず | They have ears, but they hear not: noses have they, but they smell not: |
| 7 | 手あれどとらず脚あれどあゆまず喉より聲をいだすことなし | They have hands, but they handle not: feet have they, but they walk not: neither speak they through their throat. |
| 8 | 此をつくる者とこれに依賴むものとは皆これにひとしからん | They that make them are like unto them; so is every one that trusteth in them. |
| 9 | イスラエルよなんぢヱホバに依賴め ヱホバはかれらの助かれらの盾なり | O Israel, trust thou in the Lord: he is their help and their shield. |
| 10 | アロンの家よなんぢらヱホバによりたのめ ヱホバはかれらの助かれらの盾なり | O house of Aaron, trust in the Lord: he is their help and their shield. |
| 11 | ヱホバを畏るるものよヱホバに依賴め ヱホバはかれらの助かれらの盾なり | Ye that fear the Lord, trust in the Lord: he is their help and their shield. |
| 12 | ヱホバは我儕をみこころに記たまへり われらを惠みイスラエルの家をめぐみアロンのいへをめぐみ | The Lord hath been mindful of us: he will bless us; he will bless the house of Israel; he will bless the house of Aaron. |
| 13 | また小なるも大なるもヱホバをおそるる者をめぐみたまはん | He will bless them that fear the Lord, both small and great. |
| 14 | 願くはヱホバなんぢらを増加へ なんぢらとなんぢらの子孫とをましくはへ給はんことを | The Lord shall increase you more and more, you and your children. |
| 15 | なんぢらは天地をつくりたまへるヱホバに惠まるる者なり | Ye are blessed of the Lord which made heaven and earth. |
| 16 | 天はヱホバの天なり されど地は人の子にあたへたまへり | The heaven, even the heavens, are the Lord’s: but the earth hath he given to the children of men. |
| 17 | 死人も幽寂ところに下れるものもヤハを讃稱ふることなし | The dead praise not the Lord, neither any that go down into silence. |
| 18 | 然どわれらは今より永遠にいたるまでヱホバを讃まつらむ 汝等ヱホバをほめたたへよ | But we will bless the Lord from this time forth and for evermore. Praise the Lord. |
