| 1 | 我ケンクレヤの教會の執事なる我らの姉妹フィベを汝らに薦む。 | I commend unto you Phebe our sister, which is a servant of the church which is at Cenchrea: |
| 2 | なんぢら主にありて聖徒たるに相應しく彼を容れ、何にても其の要する所を助けよ、彼は夙くより多くの人の保護者また我が保護者たり。 | That ye receive her in the Lord, as becometh saints, and that ye assist her in whatsoever business she hath need of you: for she hath been a succourer of many, and of myself also. |
| 3 | プリスカとアクラとに安否を問へ、彼らはキリスト・イエスに在る我が同勞者にして、 | Greet Priscilla and Aquila my helpers in Christ Jesus: |
| 4 | わが生命のために己の首をも惜まざりき。彼らに感謝するは、ただ我のみならず、異邦人の諸 教會もまた然り。 | Who have for my life laid down their own necks: unto whom not only I give thanks, but also all the churches of the Gentiles. |
| 5 | 又その家にある教會にも安否を問へ。又わが愛するエパネトに安否を問へ。彼はアジヤにて結べるキリストの初の實なり。 | Likewise greet the church that is in their house. Salute my wellbeloved Epenetus, who is the firstfruits of Achaia unto Christ. |
| 6 | 汝 等のために甚く勞せしマリヤに安否を問へ。 | Greet Mary, who bestowed much labour on us. |
| 7 | 我とともに囚人たりし我が同族アンデロニコとユニアスとに安否を問へ、彼らは使徒たちの中に名聲あり、かつ我に先だちてキリストに歸せし者なり。 | Salute Andronicus and Junia, my kinsmen, and my fellowprisoners, who are of note among the apostles, who also were in Christ before me. |

| 9 | キリストにある我らの同勞者ウルパノと我が愛するスタキスとに安否を問へ。 | Salute Urbane, our helper in Christ, and Stachys my beloved. |
| 10 | キリストに在りて錬達せるアペレに安否を問へ。アリストブロの家の者に安否を問へ。 | Salute Apelles approved in Christ. Salute them which are of Aristobulus’ household. |
| 11 | わが同族ヘロデオンに安否を問へ。ナルキソの家なる主に在る者に安否を問へ。 | Salute Herodion my kinsman. Greet them that be of the household of Narcissus, which are in the Lord. |
| 12 | 主に在りて勞せしツルパナとツルポサとに安否を問へ。主に在りて甚く勞せし愛するペルシスに安否を問へ。 | Salute Tryphena and Tryphosa, who labour in the Lord. Salute the beloved Persis, which laboured much in the Lord. |
| 13 | 主に在りて選ばれたるルポスと其の母とに安否を問へ、彼の母は我にもまた母なり。 | Salute Rufus chosen in the Lord, and his mother and mine. |
| 14 | アスンクリト、フレゴン、ヘルメス、パトロバ、ヘルマス及び彼らと偕に在る兄弟たちに安否を問へ。 | Salute Asyncritus, Phlegon, Hermas, Patrobas, Hermes, and the brethren which are with them. |
| 15 | ピロロゴ及びユリヤ、ネレオ及びその姉妹、またオルンパ及び彼らと偕に在る凡ての聖徒に安否を問へ。 | Salute Philologus, and Julia, Nereus, and his sister, and Olympas, and all the saints which are with them. |
| 16 | 潔き接吻をもて互に安否を問へ。キリストの諸 教會みな汝らに安否を問ふ。 | Salute one another with an holy kiss. The churches of Christ salute you. |
| 17 | 兄弟よ、われ汝らに勸む、おほよそ汝らの學びし教に背きて分離を生じ、顛躓をおこす者に心して之に遠ざかれ。 | Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. |
| 18 | かかる者は我らの主キリストに事へず、反つて己が腹に事へ、また甘き言と媚諂とをもて質朴なる人の心を欺くなり。 | For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple. |
| 19 | 汝らの從順は凡ての人に聞えたれば、我なんぢらの爲に喜べり。而して我が欲する所は、汝らが善に智く、惡に疏からんことなり。 | For your obedience is come abroad unto all men. I am glad therefore on your behalf: but yet I would have you wise unto that which is good, and simple concerning evil. |
| 20 | 平和の神は速かにサタンを汝らの足の下に碎き給ふべし。願はくは我らの主イエスの恩惠、なんぢらと偕に在らんことを。 | And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen. |
| 21 | わが同勞者テモテ及び我が同族ルキオ、ヤソン、ソシパテロ汝らに安否を問ふ。 | Timotheus my workfellow, and Lucius, and Jason, and Sosipater, my kinsmen, salute you. |
| 22 | この書を書ける我テルテオも主にありて汝らに安否を問ふ。 | I Tertius, who wrote this epistle, salute you in the Lord. |
| 23 | 我と全 教會との家主ガイオ汝らに安否を問ふ。町の庫司エラストと兄弟クワルトと汝らに安否を問ふ。 | Gaius mine host, and of the whole church, saluteth you. Erastus the chamberlain of the city saluteth you, and Quartus a brother. |
| 24 | [なし] | The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. |
| 25 | 願はくは長き世のあひだ隱れたれども、 | Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began, |
| 26 | 今 顯れて、永遠の神の命にしたがひ、預言者たちの書によりて信仰の從順を得しめん爲に、もろもろの國人に示されたる奧義の默示に循へる我が福音と、イエス・キリストを宣ぶる事とによりて、汝らを堅うし得る、 | But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith: |
| 27 | 唯一の智き神に、榮光 世々 限りなくイエス・キリストに由りて在らんことを、アァメン。 | To God only wise, be glory through Jesus Christ for ever. Amen. Written to the Romans from Corinthus, and sent by Phebe servant of the church at Cenchrea. |
