절	Good News Translation (1992)	King James Version
1	Longing for God O God, you are my God, and I long for you. My whole being desires you; like a dry, worn-out, and waterless land, my soul is thirsty for you.	O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;
2	Let me see you in the sanctuary; let me see how mighty and glorious you are.	To see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary.
3	Your constant love is better than life itself, and so I will praise you.	Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee.
4	I will give you thanks as long as I live; I will raise my hands to you in prayer.	Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name.
5	My soul will feast and be satisfied, and I will sing glad songs of praise to you.	My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips:
6	As I lie in bed, I remember you; all night long I think of you,	When I remember thee upon my bed, and meditate on thee in the night watches.
7	because you have always been my help. In the shadow of your wings I sing for joy.	Because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice.
8	I cling to you, and your hand keeps me safe.	My soul followeth hard after thee: thy right hand upholdeth me.
9	Those who are trying to kill me will go down into the world of the dead.	But those that seek my soul, to destroy it, shall go into the lower parts of the earth.
10	They will be killed in battle, and their bodies eaten by wolves.	They shall fall by the sword: they shall be a portion for foxes.
11	Because God gives him victory, the king will rejoice. Those who make promises in God's name will praise him, but the mouths of liars will be shut.	But the king shall rejoice in God; every one that sweareth by him shall glory: but the mouth of them that speak lies shall be stopped.
