절Good News Translation (1992)King James Version
1
Confidence in God's Protection
I wait patiently for God to save me; I depend on him alone.
Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him cometh my salvation.
2 He alone protects and saves me; he is my defender, and I shall never be defeated. He only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved.
3 How much longer will all of you attack someone who is no stronger than a broken-down fence? How long will ye imagine mischief against a man? ye shall be slain all of you: as a bowing wall shall ye be, and as a tottering fence.
4 You only want to bring him down from his place of honor; you take pleasure in lies. You speak words of blessing, but in your heart you curse him. They only consult to cast him down from his excellency: they delight in lies: they bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly. Selah.
5 I depend on God alone; I put my hope in him. My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.
6 He alone protects and saves me; he is my defender, and I shall never be defeated. He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved.
7 My salvation and honor depend on God; he is my strong protector; he is my shelter. In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.
8 Trust in God at all times, my people. Tell him all your troubles, for he is our refuge. Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah.
9 Human beings are all like a puff of breath; great and small alike are worthless. Put them on the scales, and they weigh nothing; they are lighter than a mere breath. Surely men of low degree are vanity, and men of high degree are a lie: to be laid in the balance, they are altogether lighter than vanity.
10 Don't put your trust in violence; don't hope to gain anything by robbery; even if your riches increase, don't depend on them. Trust not in oppression, and become not vain in robbery: if riches increase, set not your heart upon them.
11 More than once I have heard God say that power belongs to him God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God.
12 and that his love is constant. You yourself, O Lord, reward everyone according to their deeds. Also unto thee, O Lord, belongeth mercy: for thou renderest to every man according to his work.
