1	Frieden für Gottes Volk Ein Lied der Korachiter.	Lord, thou hast been favourable unto thy land: thou hast brought back the captivity of Jacob.
2	Herr, früher hast du gezeigt, dass du dein Land liebst, und hast für dein Volk alles wieder zum Guten gewendet.	Thou hast forgiven the iniquity of thy people, thou hast covered all their sin. Selah.
3	Sein Unrecht hast du weggenommen und seine ganze Verfehlung zugedeckt.	Thou hast taken away all thy wrath: thou hast turned thyself from the fierceness of thine anger.
4	Du hast deinen Zorn zurückgezogen und seine schreckliche Glut wieder abgewendet.	Turn us, O God of our salvation, and cause thine anger toward us to cease.
5	Gott, unser Retter, stell uns auch jetzt wieder her! Hör auf, uns zu zürnen!	Wilt thou be angry with us for ever? wilt thou draw out thine anger to all generations?
6	Oder willst du für immer zornig auf uns sein? Soll dein Unwille nie zu Ende gehen?	Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee?
7	Willst du uns nicht neu beleben, damit dein Volk sich über dich freut?	Shew us thy mercy, O Lord, and grant us thy salvation.
8	Herr, lass uns wieder deine Güte sehen! Komm uns zu Hilfe!	I will hear what God the Lord will speak: for he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints: but let them not turn again to folly.
9	Ich horche auf das, was Gott, der Herr, sagt: Er spricht von Frieden für sein Volk, für alle, die zu ihm gehören; aber sie sollen ihre Torheit nicht wiederholen!	Surely his salvation is nigh them that fear him; that glory may dwell in our land.
10	Seine Hilfe ist all denen nahe, die ihn ehren und ihm gehorchen; bald wohnt seine Herrlichkeit wieder in unserem Land.	Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other.
11	Dann kommen Güte und Treue zusammen, Recht und Frieden küssen einander.	Truth shall spring out of the earth; and righteousness shall look down from heaven.
12	Die Treue sprießt aus der Erde hervor und das Recht blickt vom Himmel herab.	Yea, the Lord shall give that which is good; and our land shall yield her increase.
13	Der Herr selber gibt Gelingen und unser Land gibt reichen Ertrag.	Righteousness shall go before him; and shall set us in the way of his steps.
14	Das Recht geht dem Herrn voraus und bereitet ihm den Weg.	—
